A ride to Heisler's means you meander through farmland and a landscape similar to that in the opening scene of Last of the Mohicans, appropriate because Heisler's is in Schuylkill County and Schuylkill is a word with Native American and Dutch influences. The creamiest ice cream and the best sundae is a CMP, vanilla ice cream with dollops of Chocolate, Marshmallow and Peanuts. The menu is simple picnic fare: cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, bar-be-que, crinkle French fries, soft pretzels. Super friendly staff! A relaxing atmosphere with yummy food.

Heisler Cloverleaf Dairy is an affordable family mini golf with landscaping and some interesting holes. This mini golf course is off the beaten path, and it definitely has some potential. There are 2 18 hole courses here along with Ice cream and food, a small game room, a driving range and a large parking. These mini golf courses (there are two) are both very well done; beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Greens are in okay condition some could use a little TLC. The difficulty varies but none of them are so difficult that children can't participate. The lower course has more shady spots than the upper course so that is important to note if you don't like the heat The cost is 7$ for adult and 6$ for kids with no discount for playing both. Of the 2 courses the lower course is the harder of the 2. The Ice cream was good and basic, but it hit the spot on a hot summer day. They also have the typical burger, fries, and chicken fingers type menu. I did not get to try the driving rage or the game room they were both closed when I came. The staff were extremely helpful, explaining the course and providing tips to younger players. The service for the ice cream was also quick. Just a tip this is a cash only establishment so hit up the ATM before coming here. Overall a nice place to go the enjoy spending some time outdoors with some mini golf and ice cream, if you are in the mood for either of those and are in the area I would stop by.

The grandkids had a good time at the playground and of course the homemade ice cream. We also loved the bottomless fries.

Very good food, but very expensive. Some rude and some nice workers. Would recommend it. But you also have to pay for dipping sauces.

They are very generous with their scoops so that was a great surprise! Service was great and the place had a lot of seatings surrounding it. There's even a family friendly area where they had two life sized Connect 4 games for kids to play with. The area was kept clean and the vibe is very family friendly. I do believe they are open seasonally. Outdoor fire pits for you to sit at while you eat your ice cream, so, even if it's a little cold or feeling like fall weather, you could be warm and eat cold ice cream at the same time and be completely happy. Highly recommend you stop here on your way home or on your way in!

Prices are very reasonable for ice cream sourced from a farm and it tastes delicious. I really enjoyed perusing all the candy options they had on offer. They have a dedicated seating area to enjoy your treats or you can hop on a stool at the counter just like how many old school soda fountains were set up back in the day. Even before peak summer season, there was a steady flow of customers coming through the doors. The staff seemed like local high schoolers, but they were friendly and working diligently attending to each group that came through the doors. My cookies and cream shake hit all the right flavor notes, so would gladly return and recommend Chantilly Goods to others for their ice cream and sweet tooth needs.

Annie's is a classic old-school local ice cream shop where you can cool off with a variety of sweet treats. Whether you're craving hard ice cream, soft-serve, sundaes, Italian ice, or Arctic Swirls, they have something for everyone. Even though there was only one employee working when we visited, he was friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service. The portions were huge, which definitely made our day. The biggest surprise, however, was the banana pudding. It was absolutely delicious and made fresh to order with real bananas and Nilla Wafers. The only downside is the limited seating since it operates mainly as a walk-up window. There are a few tables out front and one on the side, but on a hot, sunny day, finding a shady spot can be a challenge. Overall, Annie's is a charming local ice cream stop with generous portions, friendly service, and some surprisingly tasty treats beyond just ice cream.
