In the past I had taken…read morehim to the 'big store' groomers - Pet Smart - and they told me he needed to go to a private groomer because he was too scared, they couldn't lift a bigger dog, and made all kinds of disappointing excuses for a pup who is known to be gentle and sweet and easy to get along with. I took my buddy to Clarence Groomers and not only did they do an incredible job getting his fur trimmed and shampooed, his nails filed, and other excellent services to get him comfortable and ready for summer, but they were patient and gentle with him, and said he was a sweetheart and easy to work with. When I picked him up he was so handsome and really happy. Heidi and Ashtin were wonderful. You won't regret taking your best furry pal here. They really love animals and take great care of them.

They even make snarky remarks back. This isn't a first. I asked for add on services they clearly never gave but I was charged for. I've been going for years but I simply can't tolerate being treated like that anymore. One of their previous groomers left there for feeling they were inappropriate with customers and charges me way less for a much better job. She treats me well too.

Whenever I bring her to be groomed, I tell them not to shave her ears, as they are beautiful. I found out just today, however, that they have not been grooming her above the neck because of my request about her ears, with the result being a difference in hair length across the back of her head. I didn't know this until today. They told my daughter, who went in to get her. I am furious about this. I'm giving them two stars because of this. They could have clipped her head between her ears. On top of this I was charged 78.00 for the grooming and teeth brushing for a 15 pound dog.

She says: "I know that cats can be "difficult" but I have a way of handling them that keeps them calm throughout the grooming process." In reality, she refuses to see cats who may be "difficult" because she is scared, unskilled, and unprofessional. She first saw my Persian cat a couple months ago, who was matted due to a skin condition. She was unable to do the job herself. She called me and my husband to help her, along with her manager. I contacted her for another appointment when my cat was in better shape (no matting), and, knowing my cat's temperament, she confirmed she would be able to see my cat again. She scheduled us on a Sunday for 1:30. She cancelled last minute and changed it to 3:00pm- extremely unprofessional. We arrived at 3:00pm, and without even looking at my cat, she began giving us a lecture about why she can't see him because he might be "bitey". Are you telling me you've never worked with a cat who is uncomfortable with grooming? She asked us to leave and have him drugged before coming in. I told her I had actually given him gabapentin before the appointment and she replied "I don't believe you". Is that any way to speak to your customers? And, why could she have not communicated this requirement to us before the appointment? Alicia is unable to work with cats and I will be escalating this situation further.

Short Story Jen is…read moreawesome and super caring for all the dogs. I rarely trust anyone with my dog, but after a very short period I came to trust in Jen and my dog loved the experience. I highly recommend using this day care, ESPECIALLY if you do not want you dog locked in a kennel for hours a day. Long Story I own a 5 year old boxer mix named Oscar. Oscar has been my only family, traveling with me for the past 5 years and I care for him very much. As so, it is very hard for me to leave him in the hands of others and NEVER over night. I started using the day care because of my work schedule and also because of how happy he was when I would pick him up. He quickly learned the word "day care" and really looked forward to seeing Jen and the other dogs. I became so comfortable because of his obvious enjoyment that this was the first day care I ever allowed my dog to be stay over night! She said they were open for grooming and nail clippings I explained to her that my dog has had several bad experiences with nail clippings being too short causing him to bleed, but she did not seem to care that he was scared of his nails getting trimmed. JoAnn called me to set up a time for her to come all the way to my house in the Kenmore area to clip my fur baby's nails from her place of business. It was so wonderful to have someone come to my home and trim my fur baby's nails, after searching for a month, and have him not even be bothered. There is something to be said about a dog being completely comfortable with someone they do not know trimming their nails. She did a fantastic job trimming my dog's nails and she treated him very well. I will definitely have her come by again to do nail trimmings or even travel up to her. I don't think five stars is enough to give her, I think it is +! Thank you for coming by, being so good to my old guy, and doing such a great job!!
