While traveling we stopped here for laundry. Half of the machines are not working They force you to transfer funds to a "Suds" card to use the machines. So, I put $30 on a card, washed 4 loads, dried 2 in one dryer, and had $1.38 left. I tried to add the required funds for the last machine but they have a $10 minimum. I only needed $2.12. You cannot get a refund on your unused money. What a scam. You also cannot enter exact amounts. For example.if I had wanted to purchase $32.12 on the card I would have been forced to pay $40. When I needed help, I started asking around for an employee. Searched high and low. Turned out the woman standing four feet away from me the entire time I was actively, politely, asking if anyone worked here was the attendant on duty. Find ANY OTHER laundromat. Suds Laundromat has to be the coolest washer and dryer place I've ever used!! 1. It takes credit cards (that's a bonus for me because I've always thought that coins for nasty. 2. They actually have a display on the T.V where it tells/shows you how much time your machine has left before it ends! The map is really neat. 3. They had a couple of TV shows on for you to watch while you wait. Washing my Families large load of laundry cost about $10? I think the washer was $7.25 and dryer (30mins) was $2.25? This review has nothing to do with Suds as a Laundromat or it's employees. The ladies that work here are very nice & friendly. This review is for all the people that are too lazy to pick up the dryer sheets and other waste they leave behind. Complete savages & slobs. This is a public place and yet the people that trash it nightly... I can't imagine what the restrooms would look like if they were unlocked overnight. People are just plain old lazy and most of them are not good for anything. They will try to justify themselves with BS. Bash me hate my review, but just look at yourselves first!! Suds use to be great, always clean, working machines, friendly staff, they HAD everything right. Recently it's been horrible. Half the machines are either Birkenhead or coin only now. Part of the draw of this place was being able to use my debit card without having to pull cash out at an atm then convert to change. Don't worry about setting a timer to check on your clothes, the time on the machines is never right. It'll say 25 mins to wash but will take 40 mins actual time. The place is almost always a mess. It's like they changed ownership or something, they have got to get better. read more

I'm in town with Great Dane for a two week conference and I needed to do laundry, because I hate to pack dirty clothes. I went to this facility and it was the cleanest laundry mat that I have ever seen. They have a full time attendant working there and she was cleaning non stop from the I arrived until I left. read more

I know have had two incidents with using the debit card readers. 3 months ago i loaded 130.00 on a greendot card so went into laundrymat put clothes in and swiped card. it came up saying offline, then cancels . i then tried it a couple of more times,then it comes up saying declined. the next day i contacted greendot and was told the money was taken off the card on paypal. i explained what i done. i then contacted laundrymat and was told which washers i had used even though i had to put cash in .basically someone somewhere was able to get all the funds on my card when i swiped it. laudry has not refunded me. i am still fighting with greendot because they say i swiped and enterd my pin which i did not do. so im out 130.00, i went back last week, and used my debit card, its prepay so i had loaded 70.00 on it. swiped it until i used it all. the charges came through immediately then the following day my 6.00 wash, 3.00 dryer, etc each one then reads an amount of 11.00 to 15.50 each. i totaled it up and i would have had to do 140.00 worth of laundry by their charges.i only had 70 on my card at the time, so then my card goes 62.00 in the negative. i dont know how they can change the charges. ive sent 2 emails and am still waiting on a response. so either you swipe your card, it goes offline, then declines and all money on it is then wiped out or you swipe and the next day your 8.00 washer costs you 15.50. i dont understand . i will not be using them until they straighten this out its not right they wont help me to recover my first 130.00 when it was on their machine and now im out even more. read more

Haven't been to a laundromat in years but this place was clean and easy to use. Every washer and dryer has a card swipe option and coin. Two change machines. Drop off wash and fold service for $1.25/lb from 8am-7pm. 27 minutes to wash a king size comforter for $10.50. Will see if it fits in the smaller washer next time for $7. Dryer for $3.25 for the huge one. Definitely coming back here for washing large items since we have a washer and dryer at home. read more

This is my favorite place to go do my laundry. It's very clean and the attendant on site is always very kind. They use card readers and also quarters. The only downsides are that the restrooms are locked a lot of the time during business hours, so I have to leave to wash my hands or use the bathroom. Also the space is limited, so on weekends there rarely is a table open to fold or a bench to sit on. read more

I'm not a frequent laundromat user and I definitely agree that the place is nice and clean and well lit. I have never heard of paying an extra 50 cents for your load being "heavy" and 25 cents for "warm water"!! But that's beside the point. The problem is, the main reason for choosing Suds was that they take credit cards. After getting everything loaded in the washer, making my load selection and swiping my card, I get a "No Connection" display on card reader. I try swiping two or three more times and Apple Pay, no luck! Then I look around for a phone number to call just to let them know the card readers aren't working and maybe they can troubleshoot the problem or at least get a sign up so everyone is informed. Not one number in site. I did call the number on the website but I could hear a muffled ring coming from the office area. So I ended up scrounging up quarters and having to go down the street to Murphy's gas station to get the rest of the quarters needed. Needless to say a quick trip to drop some clothes in the washer with two kids and the hubby turned into a Big Inconvenience! Not to say that I will not patronize this establishment in the future, I'm a firm believer in "If you know better, you do better". read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!!! So I'm new to the area and pass by this laundromat; looks clean and in a safe area so I decide I'll try it next time I do laundry. I arrive today, put all my clothes in washers, load my detergent and softener, swipe my bank card and get 'No Connection. Transaction cancelled'. It won't swipe. Try again. Nothing. Try a different card. Nothing. So I ask the attendant here for help. She tells me others have had the same problem but hasn't bothered to put a sign out to warn customers about this long known problem. She tries to reset the machines but still they won't work for the bank card. Nor will she let me charge my bank card on her register to provide me a 'Suds' card or change; just suggests I go down the street to the nearest gas station to use their ATM to get a $20 that she would then break down for me to use the change machines here. Meanwhile I'm having to leave my stuff unattended as it's al loaded up already. (Said ATM now cost me an extra $2.50 to get cash). When I get back I ask for the manager's name to speak to. She then says she is the manager. WHAT? So I ask who's above her to speak with and she says it's the regional manager but refuses to give me a name or number. Hmmm. Says she'll take my name and number and pass it along "when she gets the chance". Yeah right. BTW this place also charges extra for warm water, for a medium vs light setting in the same washer ($3.25-$5.75/load depending on the size washer) and a set price ($2.50/30 min) on a dryer with no availability to add time without getting an entire new 30 min cycle. This place is SUCH A RIPOFF!! Cost me over $20 for just 3 small loads!! I will never again frequent this exorbitant and inconvenient laundromat. There are others I have found much more affordable. Do yourself a favor - go ANYWHERE else!! read more
