You cannot get a refund on your unused money. What a scam. You also cannot enter exact amounts. For example.if I had wanted to purchase $32.12 on the card I would have been forced to pay $40. When I needed help, I started asking around for an employee. Searched high and low. Turned out the woman standing four feet away from me the entire time I was actively, politely, asking if anyone worked here was the attendant on duty. Find ANY OTHER laundromat. From the start, Charmaine seemed irritated. She offered no help, spoke rudely, and got aggressive when I asked a simple question about my receipt after paying with exact cash (since the card machine was down). Her attitude was unprovoked and inappropriate. She handwrote "needs to pay" on my receipt and highlighted it, which left me confused. When I asked for clarification, she snapped, yelled, and became hostile--in front of my child and her own, including one handling laundry behind the counter. She made disturbing comments about my clothes, and as I left, she yelled: "That's why you have to bring your stank a clothes in here to wash, you uppity bi***!"** This behavior--especially in front of children--was disturbing and unnecessary. When I reported it to the store manager (Brittany), she offered no apology. She claimed Charmaine called her during the incident but said the call dropped. That's false--I heard them on speakerphone. Charmaine even went outside yelling about me on the phone as I was leaving. I escalated to the district manager (Christie). She called after I contacted other stores, said she'd follow up--but didn't. When I called her back, she acted like she didn't know who I was and seemed annoyed I followed up. She simply suggested I go to another Suds location. When I picked up my clothes, Charmaine was still working, and no one acknowledged the issue. No apology. No accountability. This location clearly has high turnover, poor management, and zero customer service. It's also not in a safe or welcoming area--and now I understand why. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The laundromat your grandma would…read morehave went to was dull, dirty, poorly lit, broken machines, no attendant, boring, and always had some funky smell. No, this is definitely not that kind of place. For starters, there is always a friendly, helpful attendant there to assist you, in case you have questions or issues. The only issues I've ever seen, in my many visits, were mild ones like from those who weren't certain how to work a machine. All the washers at Suds are front loaders with all the detergents, bleach, and softener poured in from the top. They have small ones which start at $2 and large ones for, say, blankets and comforters starting at $4. Don't have change? No problem, there is a change machine on the wall, and not just for changing singles into quarters, but they also have a machine that changes a bill as high as $20 into smaller bills and singles so you never have to stop what you're doing and make a run across the street to the gas station and buy gum just to have change. Who hasn't ever had to do that? No need to be bored while you're there. They have a couple of arcade games, free wi-fi, and two flat screens which are not, I repeat, NOT playing news or sports! That's what Chili's is for, and if you read my review of that place, well... Oh, and they have a vending machine in case you want just a quick snack to tide you over. If that weren't enough, they've also got a car wash next door, so while you wash your clothes, you can wash your car all at the same time! Did I mention there is a gas station across the street (yes, I did), so after you wash your car, or before (not judging), you could also fuel up your car. Multi-tasking rules! Need to use the restroom? No need to run up to Wal-Mart, which is just up the street, by the way. Suds has a clean restroom, too. They also have plenty of carts for your clothes to move them from the washer to the dryer to the folding tables. I have to say Suds is my best laundromat experience. I really wish the other laundromats would transition into the 3rd millennium.
