I called about it and was given the reason that I was paying another partial month of service for the first week I had service on the bill. Okay. Whatever. Second month bill came, it was 71 dollars and some change this time. One dollar more. No explanation. Just pay it. We won't fix it, that's just how it is. Suck it up. Disconnected after less than 2 months of service. Those prices are lies. They'll charge you whatever they want and you have to pay it. Scammy company, period.

The company call centers are not even in the US and could care less about giving help. After 2 years of leaving them I get a collection notice saying I owe them more money even though I had paid the bill in full at the time I got rid of their service. I tried calling the company but once you quit their service refuse to connect you with anything but a computer that demands payment. Now it says the collection agency is the contact and the agency in a condescending tone lectured me on how I just didn't understand that a final bill comes much later and I should understand that's how it works. I turned in the equipment to the office in town and the main company tried to bill me for the returned equipment(thank God I took pictures of the guy I returned it to because they refused to give me any paperwork proving I was giving it back, take pictures of everything to protect yourself). They say they have recorded every call but then can't find them when it proves them wrong. This company is as shady they come. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND KEEP YOUR RECORDS BECAUSE THEY WILL COME AFTER YOU YEARS LATER FOR THINGS YOU ALREADY PAID FOR.

You will be assured over and again during the setup call that that is exactly the price and terms that you are receiving. When it is all installed, however, they double the price to $40 and only send you a $100 gift card. I have been fighting AT&T on this ever since, and they will not cancel the account without a $230 fee. DIRECTV has been out twelve times in the less than sixty days that I have had it. In all of the years that I had Suddenlink/Tivo, I cannot remember it being out at all. The Suddenlink/Tivo DVR service is far superior, faster, more user friendly, etc, etc, etc. . . If you still have traditional TV, do not even consider dumping Suddenlink for DIRECTV. It is horrible! If you live in a market outside of the Suddenlink area, stick with whomever is offering Tivo. My experience with the two things is like night and day with DIRECTV being overwhelmingly negative and Suddenlink/Tivo being overwhelmingly positive! First of all, when you call for service you have to go through a recording that asks all about your account, but as soon as you are finally connected they don't even have any information and you have to start all over. So when I finally got to talk to a person, they claimed to be looking at my account, but kept having to ask me what I had, they did not even know. Then after I was put on hold three times for a total of 25 minutes, because they said it takes a very long time to create an email that would allow me to return my equipment he came on and said never mind it couldn't be done so just take it to a UPS store and give it to them. I asked how I was supposed to prove that they knew I had returned all of the right equipment and he couldn't tell me. I am shocked at the lack of organization in this company. Also, the customer service is the worst. 2 years ago this was not the case, but now all I hear are complaints and there is no place within the company to lodge a complaint. It is clear that no one within the company cares at all about the customers. This is the only place you can even let any body know how bad it is.

The plan to move to AT&T Fiber Optics and Phone landlines from my current provider to AT&T was established in May. It is now Sept. 2nd and AT&T never delivered on their promise. I've been in contact with them (salesman named Philip) multiple times. My landline service from my recent provider ended August 9th. For four weeks my business has been without working phone lines! I missed 188 phone calls on Saturday alone. This promise to perform fiber optic internet and phone lines was poorly given and completely affected our business performance for multiple days! We've been patient but this has been absurd. We are transferring back to our recent provider because what they promise they deliver!

Couldn't get anyone I could understand). Once they improved their customer service, it has been great. The technicians have always been wonderful. They provide a direct number to them after installation to immediately rectify any problems. Unlike rip offs such as Suddenlink, there isn't a cap on the internet. I receive the same bill every month - no surprise charges. About once a year, I call the. Customer Retention Department and see if they have a current promotion for better pricing. The representatives in that department and very kind and helpful.
