I came here three weeks ago and got a pedicure and gelX manicure. My experience was good as I was happy with my results. The workers were friendly and I was enjoying the movie they had on the big screens in there. Unfortunately, I came back to get my gelX nails removed. I considered just getting a regular gel manicure after the removal but when she removed the gelX nails, I had like mold on three of my nails! I've only ever had that happen after using fake press on nails from Walgreens. I was shocked. They still pushed me to get my nails done and I was like no thanks I don't want anything on top of this right now. She told me gelX was not good and dip nails are better but when I was getting the gelX done three weeks ago they didn't have anything bad to say about it that day. I wouldn't say the place was bad, I was just disappointed. I would consider going back as they did give me a $5 off coupon for next time but for now I'm taking a break from the salons. read more

I stopped by just to get a gel mani and regular pedi. Once I approached the entrance, I asked if they specifically knew how to handle natural long nails. The gentleman host stated they did and directed me to the pedi station. I dod notive that the decor is bright and simple. They have TVs to entertain you and low music too. I sat down and repeated to the woman that I wanted a regular pedi and gel mani. She asked if I wanted a special treatment for my pedi, and I opted for the base pedi. They did an awesome job with the pedi, but I advised that I wanted a clear coat on my toes, and she stated, but this color looks better. I told her again I wanted the clear polish, but she said it looks nice on you. I gave up, going back and forth, and just let her finish. I then watched as she used a machine to take off all the gel polish on my nails. These were supposed to be soaked off, so my nail bed didn't get damaged. Well, my nail bed was damaged slightly on both hands. I asked to trim my nails, and I wanted to keep my almond shape. The technician didn't know how to keep my shape. So, I used the file to shape my nails properly to get the almond shape. She then started to paint my nails, and I noticed she didn't even try to paint the whole nail. I have sides that are missing polish. Personally, I would not recommend this location if you are a natural nail customer who care for their nails. I would recommend that your technician listen to the request from the customers and honestly say if you know how to work with natural nails. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! ! I went in to get my gelx nails soaked off as I was waiting for my natural nails to grow out so I can start to get a regular gel manicure. The guy began to rip my nails off by digging a nail tip underneath the gel extension. I told him multiple times that's not how your supposedly to removed them and that it was hurting but he did not listen and ended up ripped off all my nails with most of my natural nail included. He then began giving me attitude when I told him I was upset my nails got ruined and ripped off and no longer wanted to get them done. SUPER unprofessional. I do not recommend. The owner/manager (not sure who they were) gave me a price for my service when I first sat at the chair and then wanted to overcharge me once my nails were done. My nail lady was nice and agreed with me that he had made a mistake. He refused to admit it and kept telling me he "always explains things very well." Horrible!!!! I asked for SNS dip mani along with a reg pedicure. I am from out of town and used to having my powder soaked off, this gentleman decided to pop my powder off which took a whole layer of my natural nail off. Gave me a quick pedicure and didn't even finish painting my toes at the chair, took me back to his nail station and started my nails then painted my toes on his lap at his station. My toes weren't even dry when he decided to put my slides on my feet for me. So here I am 3 days later back in my hometown and I have to go and get my nails done again because my nails have cracked and powder has come off! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!!! BEWARE!!!! OLD POLISH. DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DOEN HERE!!!! I've gone to this salon on and off for a few years. I just recently went to get a gel mani and it turned out fantastic. When I went to get a fresh gel mani this past time, I was sat with one of the employees Nancy, who I had never seen there before. As I was getting my mani It seemed like she was pretty new to doing nails. She filed my nails way too thin, told me she thought I had powder on my nails, which I told her no it's just gel. She proceeds to put the polish on after shaping and filing and I asked for a chrome top coat, it seemed like she was looking for instruction from her boss who never left the pedicure chair and just spoke to her across the room. When she went to apply the chrome it was basically trial and error until she figured it out. I left just to come back a few days later because my nails were breaking pretty bad because they were filed too thin. So I had to get a whole new mani with a different tech which I paid for, it looked awesome. Went home that SAME night and the gel polish on my two index fingernails are beginning to peel on the corners. I go back the next day and she fixes it, claims the owner is cheap and won't buy new polish, just keeps filling the bottles with thinner. The FOLLOWING day the gel polish on my thumbnail and middle finger nail on BOTH hands is beginning to peel, worse than the first time. I come in to get it fixed this time and the tech is telling me it's probably been about 15 years since the owner has purchased new polish for the salon. She fixes my nails and when I go to leave the owner blocks the exit and tells me $10, only first fix is free. I asked her why am I paying when I'm being told the reason my nails are doing this is because the polish is old. She just repeats herself and says $10, first time only is free. I paid the $10 and told her I would never be back. The WHOLE salon complains about the owner. Not great business. read more

I came here for my first ever pedicure and was not disappointed! I got the hot stone package for $40 and every bit of the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable! The lady was definitely skilled! This place is located inside the Altamonte Springs Mall on the second floor by forever 21. I sat in a chair that massaged my back, neck, and thighs the entire time (they even had a remote to control it with!), and they have digital flat screens everywhere so you can watch tv. They got me in right away and it took about an hour to do. The reason why it took that long was because the woman gave me a lot of time massaging my feet which was worth it! This place was terrible, the entire store looked cluttered and run down, but it had 4 stars so I got a pedicure anyway. It must have been this lady's first day, she seemed very unsure and uncomfortable and did the pedicure steps in the wrong order. She kept pushing the more elaborate pedicures on me but I was in a hurry and was already pretty unsure about the place. When she was finished my toes looked okay so I paid and left. Two hours later I laid on a pool chair and they smudged because they weren't dry. Probably because she did everything in the wrong order. Sophia did my pedi a few weeks ago and was so thorough and sweet that I had to review, but I've had several ladies here give me great pedi's. Their chairs are super legit and I've never had to wait. The wifi is free and they always have awesome chick flicks on the many large TV's circling the room. The prices are totally reasonable and they have some great specials. Had my nails done this Saturday and very disappointed. Got full acrylic set with French gel and the nails are already lifting. Person who did my nails seemed like she was in a hurry to be done and rushed through the whole service. Very unhappy as I do not live in the area to go back and complain and have redone. My nails are uneven, thin on some, thick on the other, huge white tips seems as if she used the thumb tip for all of my nails, supposedly coffin shaped and my pedicure was AWFUL. I came for the first time and was looking forward to trying this salon since it appears they offered a lot of services. When I first came in I was asked what I needed I told them dip and gel polish change on my toes. They sat me down with a lady who asked me again what I wanted so I told her and she stated I don't do dip. Another lady stated she will take me for the dip and I'll come back to the first one for the toes. Ok no problem I got up and sat in the other lady's table. She started filing away at my nails that had acrylic to the point she was burning me not once did she soak them first. She told me it was "faster this way". I did walk in at 11:30 and told her I am in a bit of a time crunch so "ok" letting her know I need to be out no later than 1pm. Took her an hour just to file away on my nails with her machine leaving my nails paper thin. She began the dip process after I first confirmed the original color with her asking if the glitter color has a white undertone she stated yes. When she starts dipping it was clear with only glitter so I told her I wanted white with glitter she kept dipping saying ok I do white after. I asked if that's a good idea since my nails are going to be thicker if she does that and she said it'll be fine. Now it's 12:45 I'm still there and she is doing a terrible dipping job making a mess of my nails and skin. Long story short it became 1pm my nails were no where near done and I had to ask her for the nail filer to shape and smooth my nails out because they were lumpy and I came in with coffin nails already she made them square with the amount of dip she used. My anxiety was through the roof at this point as I had an event to attend and needed to get home to be ready and leave by 2pm to make it. I told her I'm not paying full price because they look horrible and she stated, "you not pay I soak off nails" I looked at her, mind blown and told her (her name is Jessica) I never said I wasn't paying I said I'm not paying full price and she brought her tone back down and said ok, I charge you $40 instead. She proceeded to say, "you can come back tomorrow, I'm not here someone else can redo nails. I'll take pictures of your nails and send to my manager so she knows. She will be here tomorrow." I left at 1:24pm again I came in at 11:30 took her almost 2 hours to do dip on my nails that came out HORRIBLE. I was so upset since I had an event to go to and now I had to rush to get ready and show up with embarrassing nails. Today I show up and was rudely greeted by Trin or Twin last name Ngo according to her, couldn't understand her when I asked her name and she identified herself as the manager. I told her what happen and asked me instead of apologizing for the inconvenience how much did I pay. I told her $40 she said dip is $60 as she had my hands in hers and was looking at the terrible job Jessica did. I told her Jessica charged me $40 for keeping me for 2 hours and doing a bad job and told me to come in today to get them redone. Her staff remembered the incident so not sure what they said but it appears they vouched for my story. So she had me sit down with Mark who was a delight and did a good job. As I was leaving manager Ngo looked at my nails and I told her Mark did a great job, thanking her and she said, "yeah dip is $60", again. I told her I'm not paying I was inconvenienced enough and Jessica didn't tell me I had to pay again to get them redone so she should talk to Jessica, she rolled her eyes and stated that she will talk to Jessica. I walked out feeling mistreated and inconvenienced and no apology from the "manager". As a general manager and business owner myself, I would NEVER treat a customer that way. Although Mark was great and I would've loved to continue getting my nails done by him, I will never return to that salon or recommend anyone to go. read more

Paid dearly for SNS nails which were very pretty at first but were so thin, they started breaking two days after they were put on. Went back for them to be replaced and rather than place me with a technician who truly knows how to do SNS nails, they put me at the same table with the same nail tech as before. Now nails are so thick and ugly, I am extremely unhappy with them. Pedicure polish is also peeling early. I tipped very generously but never received one apology. Shop is not clean and workers at receptionist desk obviously could care less whether I was satisfied customer or not. I will never go back. read more

I just got a manicure with SNS polish and j will not be back. First of all, I asked how much and I was told $35. In the middle of the polish going in, I was told it would be $5 more dollars to clip my cuticles. It upset me that they were dishonest and not up front. My biggest issue, however, is how unclean the place is, and I didn't see any tools being cleaned. WORST DECISION EVER! I was trying to have a nice girls day with mani and pedi but when we first got there we should have known to just leave. My sister in law has a 2 year old and 1 year old they were well behaved. To get inside and find a seat with a stroller and pass the podium was difficult no one offered to help not even the MANAGER CHIN. Next we tried to sit with each other and that was a hassle even though there was OPEN SEATS three in a row, but they couldn't do certain nails there at that station 13 and I sat at 12. They were making her leave her kids to get her nails done in a different station. Extremely unprofessional. She had to change what she wanted for her nails. By the one she was finished with acrylic nails, it looked like she even needed a fill in on some nails. Finally, THREE IN A HALF HOURS later with just manicures my nails looked horrible! I was using dip nail coloring and never had a problem. This time it is super thick, the WRONG color and honestly they look fake! I have long real nails and they look like pressed on nails. Wondering how lady Kathy tried to fix my nails? She chizzeled off the first layer (of three coats) to put a LIGHTER color on top of a dark. It still came out dark. Then they expect me to pay $70 even though we were both unhappy. Walking down the mall, 2 other customers had approached us and asked what happened and told us that was the same reason they stopped going.
