Karan's sandwich was quite delicious and quick. We had a great time chatting with him, service was really nice. The place was pretty clean and well stocked as well.

Inferior made sandwiches like the cold meat and cheese Philly cheesesteak that I returned to have meat and cheese heated to no avail and nasty dirty bathrooms make this I-5 Shop the worse I have ever seen over 30 yrs.

If I could give this Subway 0 stars I definitely would. Stopped by for a quick lunch on my way from San Francisco to LA. and there were literally 5 people ahead in line one person working at the front. Never did anybody else show up that I saw working and the gal that was making the sandwiches was also handling the money. She moved so slow to arrange the food, dragging her feet, spending her sweet time, didn't even care about the lone forming. The bathrooms were also filthy, no napkins in the bathroom to open the doors. No hand sanitizers anywhere. What would have been a quick stop to pick up lunch took me 45 minutes in line. Turkey Sandwich was meh, the lettuce tasted watery. Absolutely the worst customer service and I will never stop there again!!!

I had the foot long spicy Italian on sourdough bread. With lettuce tomatoes jalapeno peppers and banana peppers with olives topped with sriracha sauce the staff was very pleasant and it was at a reasonable price

I came back to subway recently, and a girl with the names tag n.k. helped me, my bread was hard and burnt, when she cut into it, it sounded stale! The services at this subway sucks! i can't believe they are hiring new people and they're still so bad !!!!!!!

Not very friendly. Heavily overcooked sausage to the point where it was tougher than jerky. Price was lower than other subways.

I picked up some chicken artichoke, a beer sausage, and a smoked maple. The smoked maple was outstanding and easily my favorite. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They greeted me right away and asked what I wanted to order, which I always appreciate. I also decided to try a brisket sandwich, which looked too good to pass up. The brisket itself was very good and full of flavor. That said, I am someone who pays close attention to food handling. I tend to notice when gloves are used as a substitute for proper hygiene rather than an added layer of protection. Unfortunately, that showed up here. The employee making my sandwich handled a large magic marker to write something, then immediately went back to preparing food without changing gloves. That is always disappointing to see. Because of that, I ended up eating more of the meat and less of the bread, but the quality of the brisket still stood out. I did take a picture of my brisket sandwich, but the picture did not do it justice, so I decided not to post it. Overall, there is a lot to like here, especially the incredible sausage selection and the friendly service. I would definitely come back to try the tri-tip sandwich. I just hope the magic maker disappears.

Today was my treat day and I ordered the Big Kahuna Steak online with mushrooms, onions, and peppers on the side. When my husband got home with the sandwich I noticed the mushrooms were missing and there were no peppers. Disappointing, especially since the mushrooms are honestly one of my favorite parts of that sandwich. I called the store and asked to speak with a manager. I was connected with Humberto and I have to say -- he was wonderful. I explained the situation calmly, let him know this was more of a teaching moment than a complaint, and he handled it with such genuine kindness and professionalism. He looked up my order, acknowledged what happened, apologized sincerely and offered to remake my sandwich with the mushrooms included. That kind of customer service is rare and it means a lot. I never had a bad experience at this location prior to today and honestly the way it was handled just reinforced why I keep coming back. Thank you Humberto and the team. You've got a loyal customer.

The food quality is definitely high and everything felt very fresh, though it is a bit of a "premium" experience for a sandwich shop. What We Ordered: 8-inch French Dip: My husband really enjoyed this--the bread held up great to the au jus. 6-inch Turkey and Salami: This was my choice, and the meats were high-quality and the sourdough had that perfect crunch. Kids' Ham and Cheese: Both kids finished their sandwiches with no complaints! Service was fairly fast, which is a huge plus when you're out with the family. My only real "critique" (besides the price) is the kids' meal side; it comes with applesauce, and there was no option to swap it out for chips. We spent about $67 for the four of us. It's a little pricey for a sandwich spot, but you can definitely taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. A really good spot if you're looking for a high-quality sub. Great bread and solid service!

This visit happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. We had reservations for both Saturday and Sunday, but we stopped in on Saturday to cancel that day's reservation since we'd already eaten lunch and knew we wouldn't be hungry by dinnertime. On Sunday, when we checked in for our reservation, I was impressed -- the hostess remembered us by name, which says a lot considering how many guests come through the restaurant. We were seated, and soon after we were greeted by Eleanor, our server. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured, which was a huge improvement from a previous visit. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse. The service felt genuine, and the food was excellent -- a much better experience than my last review. This visit was absolutely worth the return. Kudos to Eleanor and the Kitchen at The Mission.
