This was my 2nd time going to this place because I said I'd give them a 2nd chance. Well there WILL NOT be a 3rd. I paid $14.50 for a ham sandwich with hardly any ham on it. I don't like the fact that you can't see your sandwich being made because the counter is so high. The 3 stars earned based on very polite employees. Otherwise, this establishment would earn only 2 stars at best. Service, although extremely polite is very slow. Nobody cleaning tables and we had to clean a table so we can have a place to sit. We ordered salads and my Cobb salad was served with some turkey slices because they ran out of chicken. WTF, it is only 12:15 and you are out of chicken. When we dug into the salads we noticed that the lettuce was not chopped very good. The leaves were huge making it difficult to eat with our plastic forks. This was a huge disappointment because someone did not do their job while prepping or they use plastic knives while prepping. Either way it was a bitch managing bites on our plastic forks. Hope the employees receive some training in food prep and managing inventory. They are very polite and would love to come back and actually enjoy a good lunch. read more

My first time at a Sourdough & Co and I had a great experience. There are ample options of sandwiches, soups, salads, and even mac & cheese. I opted for a cup of the roasted vegetables soup and a veggie sandwich. Both paired really nicely together. No skimping on any of the items, which I really appreciate. I also had a few bites of the cobb salad. Loved that the dressing came automatically on the side without asking. The salad was hearty and the ingredients were plentiful. What I found most shocking (in a positive way) was the superb customer service. Both ladies working on 11/27/23 around 7pm were genuinely nice, service with a smile. Thank you for making this dining experience a great one, especially after driving 9+ hours, feeling tired was an understatement. Ordered a French dip sandwich one evening for a pickup. Order was ready at the time stated. Sandwich was good but for the price/size, it's only offered in a 6" and I would prefer to see it offered in a larger size as it truly wasn't very filling. Sandwich shops everywhere seem to be very skimpy with their protein portions as well. Can't say enough good but one of the sandwiches made was the wrong one. No big deal. They fixed it but then forgot to put lettuce on. Again, there are worse things. One tip, please don't burn the bread. This bread is sooo yummy and good for you. Should be light and golden on the outside. Tips for those ordering sandwiches with meat: all SDC places measure their meat to the size of sandwich. It's $1.00 for an extra ounce of meat. Worth it! I'd say add 2 ounces and it will be plenty! When this location opened they truest paid attention to the details and focused on quality work. I'm a consistent customer and always get the same sandwiches, but the last few times they simply refuse to toast the sandwich. The service was good too. Somewhere down the road things changed. The company changed their soups. I used to love the baked potato soup. Now it is cream of potato I believe. Anyway, I felt they were not only known for their sandwiches but their soups as well. we have tried several of their soups, and they are in edible in my opinion. We waited over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches & didn't pay much heed figured its what it is even though it left little time to actually eat lunch. I've been here several times and try to give them the benefit of the doubt since they're a new establishment. But no more. Taking over 30 mins to make one sandwich is ridiculous. Especially when customers are walking in and placing order and getting food before mine. Tried talking to manager and she tried stating, 'It was a communication problem'. I think it's more than that. No way should a customer be waiting 30 mins for food and customers walk in and barely place order and get food before yours. Workers are to busy talking about plans they have for the day instead of pulling a tag in ORDER. While manger is hearing this all. Not professional at all. It was pretty packed but the young lady at the cashier was very kind and gave excellent service one of the best customer services I received in Patterson.
