We've had this place before and it was much better than what we got today unfortunately. Took 20minutes since it was during lunch time but they definitely need more staff during lunch. But the biggest issue is the bread was not fully cooked, you can clearly see it's raw in the bottom. The sandwich was also much thinner than last time. Nice staff. read more

The 3 stars earned based on very polite employees. Otherwise, this establishment would earn only 2 stars at best. Service, although extremely polite is very slow. Nobody cleaning tables and we had to clean a table so we can have a place to sit. We ordered salads and my Cobb salad was served with some turkey slices because they ran out of chicken. WTF, it is only 12:15 and you are out of chicken. When we dug into the salads we noticed that the lettuce was not chopped very good. The leaves were huge making it difficult to eat with our plastic forks. This was a huge disappointment because someone did not do their job while prepping or they use plastic knives while prepping. Either way it was a bitch managing bites on our plastic forks. Hope the employees receive some training in food prep and managing inventory. Ordered a French dip sandwich one evening for a pickup. Order was ready at the time stated. Sandwich was good but for the price/size, it's only offered in a 6" and I would prefer to see it offered in a larger size as it truly wasn't very filling. Sandwich shops everywhere seem to be very skimpy with their protein portions as well. My first time at a Sourdough & Co and I had a great experience. There are ample options of sandwiches, soups, salads, and even mac & cheese. I opted for a cup of the roasted vegetables soup and a veggie sandwich. Both paired really nicely together. No skimping on any of the items, which I really appreciate. I also had a few bites of the cobb salad. Loved that the dressing came automatically on the side without asking. The salad was hearty and the ingredients were plentiful. What I found most shocking (in a positive way) was the superb customer service. Both ladies working on 11/27/23 around 7pm were genuinely nice, service with a smile. Thank you for making this dining experience a great one, especially after driving 9+ hours, feeling tired was an understatement. I got over there, they were just finishing up my 2 sandwiches. I always go with turkey and my husband with pastrami. Got home and we had lunch, excellent. Great flavor, sandwiches tasted fresh. Stopped here via Yelp finding. We love SDC and our son works at the one back home in EDH. Friendly staff and always great tasting sandwiches and soups. Can't say enough good but one of the sandwiches made was the wrong one. No big deal. They fixed it but then forgot to put lettuce on. Again, there are worse things. One tip, please don't burn the bread. This bread is sooo yummy and good for you. Should be light and golden on the outside. Tips for those ordering sandwiches with meat: all SDC places measure their meat to the size of sandwich. It's $1.00 for an extra ounce of meat. Worth it! I'd say add 2 ounces and it will be plenty! The food tasted great, and the customer service from the girl at the register (jo) was fantastic! the only reason this isnt a 5 star is because the boy who made my sandwich (Inder i believe) did not add any lettuce. I've been here several times and try to give them the benefit of the doubt since they're a new establishment. But no more. Taking over 30 mins to make one sandwich is ridiculous. Especially when customers are walking in and placing order and getting food before mine. Tried talking to manager and she tried stating, 'It was a communication problem'. I think it's more than that. No way should a customer be waiting 30 mins for food and customers walk in and barely place order and get food before yours.
