I walked in and there were 3 employees behind the bain making food and 3 customers in front of me. Looking at the bread cabinet I noticed it was mostly empty so I wanted to send a picture of the bread options to my sister. I went to send the photo but then an employee wearing street clothing and house slippers (yes the pink fluffy kind) approached me and asked "why are you taking this photo?" I explained that I was taking the photo so my sister could choose her bread options. The employee then said that it was illegal for me to take a photo and that I needed to leave or she was going to call the cops. Frankly I was very surprised by her reaction to the photo and that she immediately threatened to call the cops. I did not see any signs prohibiting photos from being taken on property. I then looked at the 3 other people in line before me and asked "Is she always like this?". Another customer even pointed out that the employee was being rude. The employee lashed out at her as well and told her that she could also leave and not return. (All while taking her money for the sandwiches she had ordered.) I tried asking the employee for her name and she said that "I do not legally need to tell you anything" I then walked out of the store to my car. I was standing next to the driver side of my car when that employee walked out and went to her car which was 4 parking spaces away from mine and I was on the phone with my sister explaining why she was not getting Subway. The employee then walked over to me from over 30 feet away and started yelling at me again and proceeded to call her store owner who is named Todd. She walked away from my car. At which point the other customer she told to leave drove up behind my car to check in on me because she was worried for my welfare that this employee followed me out to my car. The employee AGAIN walked from her car back over to me and restarted the interaction. She had Todd on the phone and he stood up for his employee by saying it is against Subway Corporate policy and I apologized and tried explaining what happened. Before I could attempt to finish my side of the story she again walked off. She asked me to go inside and speak on the store phone with the owner, to which he sided with her and seemed to not care how she treated any customer. I will not be returning to this Subway location.

Most recently, ordered the Big Bacon Classic and received a grilled chicken with some kind of crap sauce. Always stop check your order before leaving the window. Forget about getting their fish sandwich, Vermilion management considers it a seasonal item. They should do their research and figure out Vermilion has a large population of senior citizens that go looking for fish on Fridays. After years of patronizing this establishment, I will just go to the Amherst store where thwy seem to get right.

One of the best parts was watching the boats pass by and seeing them travel under the bridge. The view of the water, the sunshine, and the laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. It's the kind of spot where you can sit for hours, enjoy the scenery, and forget about the stress of the day. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the patio again.
