QSL keeps getting a bad rap but their wings keep drawing us back, give them a try again.

First of all the view of the river was amazing, we sat inside for the air conditioning but you can see the river perfectly with the wrap around windows! Our server Gabe was awesome! He came promptly, brought us refills without having to ask, and got our order perfect. Our food came out timely and was delicious! The wings were crispy yet juicy and tender, the wing flavors were delish as well! My mom had the chicken Cesar salad with the cheese curds on the side and the Cesar dressing was AMAZING, same with the cheese curds that come with the salad. Our pretzel stix were crispy yet soft, perfectly cooked. I have eaten at a few Quaker Steaks in my day, and we had an exceptional experience at this location! I 11/10 say you should go! I know that mistakes happen at restaurants where certain reviews are warranted, but please don't let them deter you from this location! It's good food, at a good price point, good service, and a BEAUTIFUL view in a cute town. Please visit and give them a chance! Thanks again to the hostess, cooks, and our server Gabe for our experience.

Do you want a great breakfast? This is your place. Stopped here while waiting for my dog to be…read moregroomed and I was not disappointed. Fantastic service and some of the best coffee I've had. I love breakfast bowls and they had a few to choose from, so I selected one of those along with a blueberry pancake. I normally don't gravitate to our pancakes, but I had to try since I had a few different options. I just got one, but that was plenty with my breakfast bowl. I chose the blueberry pancake and it was one of the best I've had. The breakfast bowl came out nice and hot with great flavors and a couple eggs on top. Everything was just fantastic. The ambience is what you would expect from a local diner. I will definitely be back so give it a try if you're in town.

ATTENTION GLUTEN ALLERGIES! The stars reflect a celiac response, not the food or service. If you…read morearen't sensitive to gluten, you should definitely eat here, because the food is delicious and the service is friendly. It's a wonderful local spot. The first time we went to The Nest, it was great for me -- the server also has celiac, and clearly looked out for me -- I did not get sick. I had the Big Bacon omelet, and my husband had the Gyro -- both enormous servings and delicious. My husband and I were so excited, because we've only been able to find a handful of restaurants that actually take food allergies seriously. The second time, when I told our server I have a severe gluten allergy (because most people genuinely do not know what celiac is . . .), she nonchalantly said "ok." I ordered the Cheesy Cheese; my husband had the Breakfast Burrito. While both were delicious (my husband couldn't finish his and said it was one of the best Breakfast Burritos he's eaten!), I barely made it to the BP gas station down the road before I got sick, and I was sick for 6 days! 6 days means DIRECT contamination -- either someone put toast on my plate and then took it off, or some other form of a direct hit with wheat/rye/barley (which could be soy sauce; "food" starch," etc.) It's so frustrating. I really try to do my best and order things that should be simple -- no sauces; no dressings -- if the kitchen and server take it seriously. It isn't a dietary choice -- believe me, my life would be much easier (and much more pleasant), if I did not have this disease. Sadly, we can't go back.
