Ordered using the app from the 11th street location accidently. Called the store to cancel and ask for refund. She said she would not make it and that I had to call corporate for refund. Makes sense except they are only online for customer service. Sent off 3 requests so far and get an auto email saying it has been forwarded to the appropriate person and nothing happens. Finally contacted the manager/owner (?) who was going to try to resolve. I've given him over 2 weeks and he says he is trying. It's a broken model, nobody wants to take responsibility and provide a refund. Terrible customer service both online and over the phone/text. Texted for an update and he is no longer responding. Update: The manager/owner finally called and indicated that a refund would be issued. Subway corporate needs to review their customer service policies as the current model makes for a terrible experience and does not value the customer. read more

They mailed coupons to my home. One of which is 2 foot long for $10, I purchased 2. I decided to add a third veggie delight. The cashier fumbled with the register until he was able to charge the most for the lowest cost sandwich in the store. The other two were identical. I feel bait and switch cheated. There are 10 subway stores in Tracy CA. I want to know who owns them. No one seems to speak and understand English. Are these workers imported indentured servants? The sandwich was ok it wasn't enough meat but I wasn't going to pay extra, when I got home the bread was hard I had to put it on slice bread. The price was increased which I wasn't happy with either. This is the slowest subway I've ever been too. Like seriously. If it wasn't so close to my work I wouldn't even go to it. Also the way the handle my food is ridiculous. When they are handling the bread the smash it. Not even listening when I ask to get another bread that doesn't look like it's been through the compactor. It's Subway, what can I say? Sometimes they offer $5 footling specials, but that was surely not the case on the day that I went! I paid over $8 for the chicken bacon ranch footling. Other Subways that I've gone to have been cleaner, and even tastier, but I think its general knowledge that ducking into a Subway is more out of the convenience of grabbing a quick, mediocre sandwich. Waited an hour for a footlong because the cashier there was not paying attention to orders from doordash so I had to call to ask her to confirm the order from doordash then when she confirmed the order and read the order back to me my order somehow still got mixed up with someone else's who ordered a flavor of cookie that was out so I had to wait an additional 30 minutes because it confused my doordash delivery person so they quit the order then I had to wait for another dasher she was sweet. But the cashier lady at subway was very nonchalant about a huge inconvenience she just caused and had awful phone etiquette. I never write bad reviews unless the place realllllllly sucks. Not worth it. I've been there in person too and they have no sense of urgency. People go to subway to eat better but at the pace of FAST food for convenience. read more

Girl making sandwiches seemed to not understand me and told me They were out of something when the manager later told me they actually had it. The bread for my sons sandwich was hard. They used frozen flatbread so it was heated up with sandwich making it mushy and soggy. Subway is by no means cheap. They need to reevaluate staffing and the quality of their sandwiches. read more

A couple more people came in behind me and now their is four in line, again, no big deal. But then another employee comes out from the back talking on the phone and takes a look around and goes back to talking, and not helping anyone! I've gone their often and have seen this employee on the phone doing the same thing, and not helping customers! Enough is enough, you can talk on the phone or help YOUR customers, but don't expect us to wait for you to finish your conversation. I left without ordering and don't plan to go back, and would suggest you do the same. There's a lot of great sandwich shops around, a couple right across the street, and they won't make you wait. I went about 2 weeks ago because it is really close to my house. I usually get a different location subway on the way home from the gym. I went around 7:00pm to get a sub and I got in 2 people were eating. I went to take my order and saw all the meats veggies cheese trays were all gone nothing there. I was so disappointed. First off the woman making my sandwich today put jalopenos on my sandwich after telling her it's done after the sauce.. but what really got me is she takes them off except 2 so my husband told her she missed 2 and she continued without removing so I spoke up and all she did was look at me and continue to wrap it up without removing them. If you can't hear someone, say it. Don't just stare. On the food. My toasted chicken terriaki was very cold and the chicken was a very chewy texture like grissle in most parts. I have worked at Togo's and subway and I just feel this is unacceptable not to leave a review. Small in space. The order/pick up line is a bit tight in spaces. When you are done with your order and If there's a line, you'll have to squeeze through back to the line just to get out. This Subway is not consistent at all. They have a coupon printed on the back of their receipt that offers a free six inch sub with purchase of a separate six inch sub meal, but they refuse to honor it. The gentleman in front of us was trying to explain that to the young girl checking him out, she out right argued with him rudely. When he pressed the issue she began talking to her coworker in their language and scowling at him. When he kept pressing the issue the young girl pretended she didn't understand English, but spoke clear English just fine when she took our order. We began ordering and she had to go in the back numerous times for meats and veggies, not comfortable with that. The sandwiches are supposed to be made in front of the customer. While we dined in house the two girls were standing across the room from each other talking loudly in their own language and looking at the customers in house and laughing; wasn't hard to tell they were talking about the customers and it wasn't nice. It is not appropriate nor professional at all. The sandwiches are always slight on meat, heavy on lettuce, and made differently depending on who makes them. They clean and then try to make your sandwiches without changing gloves, unless you point it out; gross. After our last visit on 6/12/17 and the unprofessional behavior displayed, we won't be back. read more
