I'm a Subway fan in general, and I have been to many different stores. I live close by to the Stratham but work close to the Seabrook store. I usually go to Seabrook, because it is more convenient for me, but I've been less than impressed the last few times. I happened to be driving by the Stratham store today and decided to stop in. Stephen took care of me and I was SO impressed. He was immediately pleasant and polite with his greeting, he was very conscience with my order, repeating things to make sure he was correct and asking if my amount of toppings were acceptable. He proceeded to ring up my purchase with continued pleasantries and professionalism. I asked his name and commented on how impressed I was with his performance. The other employee there, who had already greeted me with a smile, even though she was not the one taking care of me, agreed with my assessment and said how she felt Stephen did a great job. It was so refreshing to be treated so well by these two young people in a time when customer service and common curtesy is lost on the younger generation. This restaurant the app doesn't work, I ordered two subs picked my ingredients on what I thought was an updated menu online. For this location Ordered the subs about an hour before pickup went there to pick it up took about 25 minutes on the app anyways. Got to the store they had no record of the order had to reorder waited 34 extra minutes and they were out of two ingredients for each sub and they were also out of Italian bread lettuce of all things. No provolone cheese so they advertise sandwiches that they can't make and their manager obviously isn't doing their job. You really need to tighten up read more

This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Stratham NH Subway. My latest order # 4AB3AB60-65 was terrible. What I ordered for vegetables was replaced with just lettuce which I NEVER put on a sandwich. For a 9.98 sandwich it cost me the following fees: 2.99 delivery 1.20 service fee 2.00 Small order fee 1.49 Driver tip ( which would not allow me to skip) WTH? I also added a meal of Gatorade and a chip bag. The driver from DoorDash did not have my drink and told me that DoorDash would reimburse me! HAHAHA! No chance! Rude, Rudest, Hurry Up and Order!!!! Nothing like making decisions. The guy making sandwiches was getting pissed if you were not two steps ahead of him on what you wanted. The owner, manager lady had her infant in the shop in a carriage and at a few points was holding the baby in one arm and working with customers with the other. I applaud her for her work ethic but not sure if this is allowed by the board of health. Every time I come to this location the guys that work here are standing outside smoking and come in as they see customers coming. Again that is not a very good scene for hygiene. Subways are closing all over and asides from the one in the Wal-Mart in Epping this is one of the rare ones around. It is rather unfortunate as it is always a quick meal on the go. read more

You never know what you'll get when you hit a subway, especially at an odd hour (we arrived at 3:45 pm on a Friday). And when we heard that the supply truck had not arrived and there was just one server, we were skeptical. But then we saw the way the solo server approached her customers and we knew we'd be well taken care of. She was professional, kind, listened well and responded to all of our requests with grace and efficiency. She even understood my husband's pickiness with cucumbers and went into the back swiftly to get us a full cup of ice since the machine was broken. I also saw her interact thoughtfully with a takeout customer whose chips she had to substitute bc, again, the supply truck hadn't arrived. Bottom line, despite a very busy day on her own she maintained such a cheerful, can-do disposition and turned her full attention to each customer. Thank you! read more

First of all the service was absolutely horrible he was very rude not to just me but the people in front of me... he was slamming things, bad talking about his co-worker just very rude... Second: I order my sub online because I only get a half hour for lunch and its just easier for me to order online, so I went to the register to get my order and come to find out it wasn't ready. Now, I am very understanding person and I said its fine can you just make it after waiting in line. I ordered a 6 inch BMT on Italian Herb & Cheese, American Cheese, Toasted. He asked "is that all you want toasted is the cheese", I said "yes with the meat that comes with a BMT", he then said "There is not meat with a BMT", I said "Yeah there is" and he continued to tell me no meat on a BMT. So, after waiting for 20 minutes I said just make the sandwich the way you want because I only have 10 minutes left of my half hour lunch....if I didn't already paid for it I would have just walked out...I have my receipt and plan on going to speak to the manager...I WILL NEVER GO THE SUBWAY EVER AGAIN. This is the second time during the week between the hours of 5pm-7pm that I've come in and they are out of almost everything. No meatballs, no chicken, half of the toppings were gone. (I'm pretty sure they actually just have to go to the back and grab a bag of meatballs or chicken and heat them up...) Not a fan of subway sandwich shops. This is a convenient location right of route 101 in Stratham. The bread is fresh baked and comes in several varieties but it is not to my liking. YOu can find better in any number of local sub shops. read more

The food is typical Subway food, nothing special but quick and convenient. Although they would like you to believe that the cost is cheaper, in fact, it's the same as the sandwich shop down the road which has much better quality. The big turn off for this Subway is that the store is always filthy. Can't find a single table that isn't covered in crumbs even though we visited during the slow part of the day. Also, the floor was a sticky mess from spilled soda, which the workers walked right over to help themselves to soda and yet did nothing to clean it up. We will take the extra few minutes to go down the street next time for better food and a cleaner atmosphere. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had. Line out the door and 2 staff members. One had to leave the front to wash dishes, leaving about 12 people waiting. I asked the employee where the manager was, he said he walked to the bank. I was there for 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches, thrown together- no manager. Countless potential customers left when they walked in. Ironically, the subway sits right next to a bank. The poor employee who was there did a great job for what he had to handle. Poor management.
