I went to subway today and got the worst service I've ever had there. there was an older women with gray hair and a bandana that is not polite nor good at her job. she was extremely slow and for some reason wrapped up the person behind me sandwich before mine. I said, we are not together. she said I know. I said ok cause you wrapped her sandwich first. then she got mad and said I wasn't being courteous and she has made 100 sandwiches and she knows what she is doing. I normally go about once a week, but I will never go back because she was very slow and rude. read more

This Subway location is mediocre and although the staff are not rude and sometimes nice they lack some practices you would expect from a take n' go restaurant. (not fast paced, out of many items - so operations failing a bit as well, and weird but they start an order then another jumps in to help and they are crossing over each other while making two different patron's sandwiches...its a bit messy and they seem to only have one knife to cut the bread so if the guy behind you gets the cutting first you are waiting) It also isn't the freshest Subway I have been to. Although they have fixed the 'hard as a rock' bread issue from a few years ago. So here is a big one though. On two occasions I have tried to use the mobile app ordering. It is convenient and I feel it would be a good use of the staff's time to have an order sent rather than a long line out the door (which happens often). I also like to take advantage of the deals on the app. We try to grab sandwiches often for sport active kids on the run - its easy and good for a car meal. But when I go to place the mobile order it says the restaurant is closed. I call the restaurant (because who knows its COVID era and hours are weird), they are in fact open but have disabled the ability to mobile order as they didn't want to get overwhelmed with orders...so from the mobile app the restaurant looks closed and you cant order. So, I go down to place an order in person. One time the store was empty, the other time two people in line. So not sure how 'overwhelmed' the staff could be. So at checkout I ask how to take advantage of having the app and the deals, it was currently a BOGO50% for foot longs. They said you can't. So, is this just a round about way to not let customers use the deal codes? Pay more? Or is it laziness? Or is it indifferent? Maybe it's coming from the top, the franchise owner decision? Currently, there are few options for an easy to grab sandwich but I am hoping more options come soon because the local Subway just isn't the desirable option, it is just the ONLY option. read more

I have started coming here due to the incompetence of Scappoose Subway.. Although my interactions have been Mediocre... nothing to complain about ... I can't help but feel like I hear people talking while no one is talking .. Only in this building .. like Mice are speaking to me via wind. Something here is fishy and it's not the One girl that refuses to actually work. . First, it's Subway. So it's predictable as everywhere else. Fast, pleasant service, although often this place gets busy (busy by Saint Helens standard, i.e. maybe five people in the line) usually there are two workers so you don't wait too long. The only pet peeve: they stuff too much jalapeno in my sandwich, every single time. read more

I saw bad reviews for this location but was in the area and really wanted a sandwhich so I thought I'd give it a go. The store was very clean and the gal behind the counter had a really great attitude. She was quick, friendly, and respectable. I questioned the ratings on yelp and was told that this location is now under new ownership and whoever runs it now has completely turned it around and takes great pride in this store and his employees, which in turn gives customers great service. It's too bad YELP doesn't remove ratings from old ownership because this one is totally 5 stars! read more

Quite possibly be be of the worst visits to this establishment I have ever had, and I'm not exaggerating by any means. When you clock in at your place of work, you are there to do your job, not hang out with friends. Upon walking into the building I noticed one of the "sandwich artists" standing off to the end of the counter, with two friends right on the other side of the divider wall, visiting with her. My party and I were waiting to be helped, but she did not seem to notice or care. As, someone else steps up to acknowledge and offer to help us, the second girl was then pulled away to help ring items up at the register, leaving us in the hands of the chatty-Kathy, who still fails to notice us and begins making a sandwich for her buddies, who were NOT in line. Finally, my boyfriend was helped and when it came time to place my order, I was told they were out of american cheese.... at 6pm on a Tuesday.... when there was still cheese. in. the. bin. she then proceeded to tell me that she "didn't want to dig for it and have it 'rip' and then have to 'peice it together'". the third girl, who was cluelessly working the register, acted as if she was off the clock and was leaving. After stepping away from the register, she took her hair out of its up-do, played with it for a few seconds, put gloves on WITHOUT washing her hands or tying her hair back up (it was now down past her shoulders), and began working on our sandwiches. not very hygienic if you ask me. Over all, the service was very unfriendly and poor at best. even when we were being rang up for our sandwiches (by the first girl who decided it was high school, not jobby-job grown-up time) we were treated as if we were a burden. i don't think I'll be returning. read more
