In such a quaint little area it is nice to have a little Subway action. We went here mid June so we did have the misfortune of being stuck behind an entire little league team plus their parents all ordering but the staff did a great job with the chaos. It is quite clear that there are some very fresh and young artists employed here so give 'em a break! I did have to have my sandwich re-wrapped by a bit more experienced employee as my footlong almost met its demise on the floor alas all was well. read more

Arrived in Winter Park about noon for Labor Day weekend 2023. We had a referral to try a restaurant up the street. It didn't open till 3 pm so we decided to get a Subway for lunch and come back later.Parking was hard, nothing close, as all the street spots were taken so we just kept walking. It was a hot afternoon and there was a commercial fan directly in front of the doorway inhibiting access. That should have been the sign to leave. As we stood in the line and ordered there were 2 young men smiling and trying to help. I gave my order and asked to have it toasted. That's when the over bearing owner or manager came in and started humiliating both of the workers in front of the customers.I was so shocked he would berate them in front of the public I didn't say anything to their defense. I don't usually post negative reviews but in this case maybe the manager can learn that is not the way to teach new workers. The worker asked the manager, who was filling in the food containers, for more bacon to complete the order. This is when the manager proceeded to tell the young man he needed to think in advance to request refills on the sandwich condiments in a condescending manner and included he might not be working there if he couldn't put the sandwiches together. The manager then took over the sandwich order so I told him I wanted it toasted... he then said to me with a smart attitude, "I can't toast it before I get it set up." Really? I was trying to bring him up to speed on the order, since he took over. I was heartbroken for the workers and feel horrible I didn't say anything. I then ordered a soft drink and the manager proceeded to tell me they had "no ice but it comes out of the tank cold." I didn't want the drink without ice and he told me 2 more times it would be cold. I said "I just didn't want a drink." The store was too hot so we went outside to eat the sandwich. The picnic tables and seats are made out of trex decking materials and we're extremely hot. Find another place to eat! This was a very unpleasant experience and wish I hadn't spent the $27 and just left. Just saw 2 reviews in October 2022 and very limited customer input. Looks like management has an issue. Bring your coupons. read more

The best experience I have ever had at a Subway! We walked in as they were closing, but there was no hesitation to make our order. The entire our sandwiches were being made we were kept on our toes with laughter. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was amazing, they have a mascot "Annie" that is amazing. Once we got back to the condo and opened our food it was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Love love love! We will definitely be back before we leave and make a point to eat here every time we visit! read more

The owner was nearly closed down when we came in and instead of turning us away he insisted that he pull everything out to make our food for 5 people. You can genuinely tell he cares for his customers. This is hands down the best service I've personally ever gotten at a subway. If I could give him 100 stars I would. read more

Best and cleanest subway I've been to in all of America. The owner was extremely friendly and you can see how much he cares about his business as soon as you walk in. A+ read more

If I could give a negative star review I would. Never go here. After ordering online, I entered and my order was not in the to go rack, the owner rudely asked if I was the online order. Then he told me he was not a fan of coupons. I apologized and took my sandwiches, and the sandwiches were not made as requested and not worth eating. Then as I left and my back was to him he said, "Don't F--King come back". This place and this owner is a POS and I'll make sure none of my friends or acquaintances go to this place. This place had no customers in it and I can see why, everyone in town said this subway is a POS. Don't go here, there's way better places to go with owners and employees who know how to respectfully speak to a customer. read more

Super friendly staff! This subway is very clean with great service. We always stop here on the way to Grand Lake.

Ordered to go since dining rooms are closed with Covid pandemic . Manager was so friendly and kind and the sandwiches were delicious. Love supporting local businesses during these tough times, but can't forget about local franchisees. Will definitely be ordering again! read more

Tried their tasty new offerings and found them to my liking. Owner very friendly and restaurant spotless.

I'm not a Yelper who would normally consider taking the time to write a review about one of the largest chain restaurants in the world -- but I was so taken aback by this experience that I have to do my part and let folks know. We had this handy-dandy Winter Park 2011 Coupon Book. Was it 2011? Check. Were we in Winter Park? CHECK. Were there Subway coupons in aforementioned book? YEP. Several (like six). So we went to Subway. We waited in line. We started to order our sandwiches. The coupons were "buy one, get one." We were a group of mostly hungry dudes who were going to eat BOTH the bought and free sandwiches. Fair enough after a tough day of skiing. We had the coupons in hand the entire time. The "sandwich artist" saw them - no doubt. No sign anywhere about the coupons. The man at the register who I can assume is the owner has to be one of the biggest jack asses I've ever met. He chastised our entire group in front of the entire restaurant not only telling us that those coupons were for "participating locations" and he wasn't one of those, but in this rudest possible way. He ended up accepting the coupons if we bought two drinks and two chips. I have no doubt he doesn't make nearly as much money with these coupons. But you know what, buddy? PUT UP A SIGN. Or think about how itty little bitty Winter Park is and find out who is printing these coupons (apparently without your permission). Case closed. read more

Great service, great sandwich artists and always taste fresh

Absolutely terrible to locals. When asked if they support the $5 footlong deal, many f-bombs were thrown. Then I was told i wasn't a local because the manager said he had never seen me before and that he knew everyone that was local. Alright sorry chief but just because i don't go to subway on a regular basis doesn't make me not a local. If he were a real local I probably would have seen him skiing or snowboarding once or twice yeah? I think he need to escape from his crappy Subway management position and experience the world. A friend of mine was so pissed off that he left the building and will never return. I would suggest to everyone that lives in Winter Park or goes there on a regular basis to stop in just to flip that guy off then go next door to Deno's Mountain Bistro. read more

Unlike the other two reviews for this Subway, I had a good experience. The employees were friendly and talkative. I was not a local, but many came in while we were there, and the employees were very friendly to them as well. It's a subway, so I'm not really grading the food as you should probably know what you're getting, but for service, I can't complain. read more

Worked with David the manager for late night trays. So accommodating.would highly recommend stopping in

Standard Subway fare. Cashiers cannot do simple math. I ordered a sandwich and since I'm a local, I had a coupon. When I went to check out, the sandwich was more expensive than I had calculated, so I asked "Was cheese extra? Why is it so expensive?" "you had a drink." " Well how much is the drink?" "$2" It still didn't add up and they didn't give me the receipt, so I had to go to the car and get my other coupons and show them that the sandwich was supposed to be $6. And then I had to explain to them that $6 + $2 should be about $9 with tax. TWO cashiers couldn't figure out how to charge me correctly. Finally, they just took $2 out of the tip jar. So rude also!!! read more

Cute little shop. Downtown and convenient close to the main park. Slow service, to be expected in a small mountain town. The part I didn't like was the girl answering her phone touching the phone her face and her hair and going straight back to my sandwich. Yeah don't bother changing your gloves or good forbid washing your hands I totally wanted sweat on that! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed this subway, when I walked in the door my first impression was cleanliness. My next was friendliness. The owner/manager... ( not sure, but his name was Dave ) greeted me with a huge grin and asked how the mountain was as he pulled on gloves and asked me if I wanted one of the fresh loaves of bread on the counter. I said yes, and my sandwich was speedily made and rung up, and as I was paying he gave me a couple free cookies. Now, I don't know what happened to Nina, but I very clearly saw the " sorry we don't participate in the five dollar footlong promotional deal " sign on the glass right in front of where you order, and thus had no issues with it. My only complaint was that the sandwich maker who took over my sandwich at veggies drew a star of david in sauce on my sandwich, now I don't know why, he may be jewish, or maybe it's some sick joke. read more

I've always enjoyed Subway when I want something quick. I am happy we have a Subway in Winter Park as there aren't a lot of options for a quick and healthy lunch in the area. I love to pick up a sandwich to go and enjoy dining on my deck on a warm day with mountain view. I tried the new Turkey Italian sandwich and it's now my new favorite. The girl was friendly and outgoing saying it was her new favorite sandwich too. Sometimes there can be a line because like I said there aren't a lot of options for quick and healthy fast food but on this particular day I didn't have to wait. I also like the honey green tea they brew. This is a perfect place to grab a picnic sandwich and get outdoors into the mountains and enjoy your delicious sandwich with an amazing view. I like Subway and I am so glad there is one in Winter Park- now if only a Qdoba would come here too- I would have my two favorite fast food restaurants in the town I live. read more

look for a local sandwich shop and don't waste your money or time here. we were treated extremely disrespectfully by the 60ish year old passive aggressive sandwich artist for politely requesting that he change his gloves to make a vegan sandwich after grabbing a glove full of turkey and shuffling through the pepperoni for the woman's sandwich in line ahead of us. simple human kindness and customer service are dead at this run down subway. read more
