It came out true to the name, steaming hot and delicious. The fellow who greeted us was full of energy, vim, and vigor and we appreciated his nature! The steamed step really does solve all the problems of the traditional bagel sandwich, this is honestly the only way to eat one from now on.

We had our own bottled water so we didn't order any drinks. We grabbed a small table and a server brought us our order. Wow, the bagels were very hot -- I guess from being steamed rather than toasted. We had to wait and let them cool down a little bit. Both were filling and hit the spot. There was another family plus a couple and some college students there by the time we finished, so I guess they attract a wide crowd.

There are white squirrels everywhere. There are also regular brown squirrels too. My wife told me about this before we got here but it's strange, there are so many of them. One of the oddest things I find is that there are no mixed squirrels. Like kinda brown, or kinda white, it's either one or the other. They hang together, surely they get it on. What the hell is going on here?!?!? Where did they come from? Why haven't they spread to other areas?? Anyway.... About this bakery. We stopped by here a few times for meals and snacks. Most of it was just pretty good and nothing to really write home (lol) about. I did not know this at the time and did not truly savor the moment well enough. I had the absolute best pastry I have ever had in my life here. I often think back to it and when I see a similar looking pastry only to be let down when I try it.
