We joked we didn't know who owned the place because every person there treated it as if it were their own. Super cute bistro vibe- our food was incredible! The shrimp cocktail, is a must! Massive shrimp! The beef Wellington bites, absolutely next level!! So glad we ordered those- they were the best! The tomato bisque soup came with a little grilled cheese sandwich - such a great touch! It was also one of the best tomato bisque soups we've had. Nailed it! The french onion soup was unlike anything we've ever had before, and incredible! The croissant toast with the cheese was such a treat! We were in town for a babyshower and wanted to grab a quick lunch- or a couple apps, and a glass of wine before as the shower was more snacks. The suggestions for us were wonderful. I'm sure it's great for dinner too! This place was above and beyond across the board and we can't wait to come back when we meet the new baby! We aren't from Pendleton, but raved to all at the shower that if they were local, they must check it out! Amazing spot! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Honestly. The French onion soup is a generous portion and a great sharing starter. So delish. The crusted cheese bread accompaniment a 10/10. Prime rib and pork chop so good. Nice side options with the peas and mashed potatoes a stand out, the crème brûlée was the real star of the show though. Nice portion with fresh cream and blueberries. Coming back next week for lunch with my mom and I'm very excited!

My lunch was my favorite classic bagel, pumpernickel bagel with lox and cream cheese, red onion and tomato and I was sold after my first bite. I brought RRR here after the Saturday Farmers market and he enjoyed his bagel sandwich as well. First of all, we learned from the owner, Krishna, their bagels are made in New York in the right way, boiled then lightly par baked so they can be frozen and shipped. Sophie's then finishes the bake on site so they taste fresh every day. I have never been to New York and gotten a bagel so I can't honestly compare, but I'm not sad! The bagels are chewy and delicious. Also, they use Boars Head deli meats, high quality and worth it. We have only gotten water with our lunches here so I have no idea what their beverages are like but I suspect my 11 year old granddaughter would love the bubble tea. This is definitely worth a breakfast/brunch/ lunch stop if you're anywhere in the area.

The breakfast sandwich, 4 bagels to go and an ice tea cost a ridiculous $32 !!!! The building is really nice but thats where it ends !!!! There is no integrity and nothing unique about warming up premade low quality food in a microwave ! Huge disappointment !!!!

The orange booths inside reminded me of the 1970s, but seemed newer. The walls are decorated with kitschy country decor. The sign outside claimed the best Bar-B-Q in Indiana, so I decided to give their BBQ sandwich a try with fries and coleslaw. The sandwich was large with lots of saucy sweet pork. The was a slight tang to the sauce, which was good. The fries were crispy and hot. The side of coleslaw was small but creamy and tasty. In response to peer pressure and my lack of self control, I finished my meal off with a tangerine soft serve cone. A small cone was $4. The ice cream was perfectly refreshing and delicious (and the best part of the stop). The staff seemed tired and frustrated, and didn't waste time with pleasantries. Maybe they were understaffed as they worked both a walk up window and inside patrons. Tables needed to be wiped clean, but cleaning didn't happen during our visit. Despite the service, the place had great small town, local charm. I'd return to try the Coney Dog, which looked good. There's plenty of parking in their private lot.

Walked up and got our cones, which are very generous servings! Then we drove around back to take pictures. Of the tables I had mentioned in a previous review. There is inside eating, some outdoor eating and of course order at the walk up window and eat in your vehicle. The outdoor area is shady and a chance to get out and stretch your legs. Inside is retro and interesting.

We asked questions and she was a little unsure. But alas, she went and found the answer and we were rolling. I got the Mother Clucker chicken sandwich (just because of the name) and it was delicious. Everyone loved their food. I'd for sure come back.

We opted for the Kiss of a Venice pasta and the Merchant Preferred chicken. The pasta was inedible. We really couldn't place the flavor but it did NOT look or taste like pesto nor sun-dried tomato (as advertised in menu). No way to describe it except "gross". The chicken dish literally tasted like an overcook plain chicken breast topped with cheap no name brand store pasta sauce. It was flavorless and super salty. Honestly, it was something a 3rd grader might make. The waitress asked how we liked the meal, which should have been obvious since we left most of it on our plates. We explained that it wasn't very good. She offered to remove the pasta from our check, which was nice. The chef came over and apologized but did not seek input - which I thought was very strange. Apologies, no pics this time - I guess we were just too thrown off by the horrible food. On our last recent visit, the chef removed the fresh green beans from the menu and replaced with mushy, stewed cut beans. We highly recommend he bring the old beans back as they were fresh and delicious. We always ordered them!
