did COVID ruin customer service? I walked into this restaurant and they had 2 people in front of me. No big deal, I was not in a hurry. I waited 13 minutes before a young man can over to me, didn't acknowledge me, just looked at me. I said, you know what, I'm going to go to Jersey Mikes. I've been here 13 minutes and no one even said "Hi" or we will be right with you.He immediately said, "I have other customer before you and you needed to wait and be patient. WOW! he told me, the customer, I'm not important and my business doesn't matter. I run a business just down the road with 500 employees and in our meeting tomorrow I'm going to let everyone know how we don't want to be. These guys are usually pretty fast, and I like almost every Subway I go to. Lately I don't go so much because their prices have really jumped. I went by this time to try the pepperoni meatball sub they were advertising. Lucky me, it was one of their $5 featured footlongs. I like the meatball sub, and like the pepperoni they use at Subway, so I was sure this would be a winner. Well it was good, don't get me wrong, but I hardly noticed the pepperoni. Needs another layer to really get the good flavors. Oh well, I gave it a try. Th staff here does a good job, like I said before, but sometimes I want to check them for a pulse. I ate there earlier today and it made me bathroom-sick; my guess is that since it's such a busy subway that the meats are probably in the danger zone along with some other toppings. There was a red-headed lady who was really nice and fast with helping customers! I enjoyed her smiles and what-not. Worst service possible. Absolutely no customers. I pulled up to the window was told to wait a moment, which is ok but then 8 min later told me to pull up to the window and he'll get to me when he comes to the window. The lady making our sandwich was rude as hell. Told her what we wanted and she put 3 thin slices of onion and asked for extra and she put 2 more slices, she put 3 jalapeños and asked for more and she put 2 more. Me and my girlfriend went though the drive though yesterday. I'm so mad we both have food poisoning!!! Awful! Next time I will go past this one to Rd 68! I eat Subways a lot with my family, and gave never been treated this rudely! They even tried to charge my daughter for heavy banana peppers! Delicious food. Kinda snappy workers though. When they hit the busy time they seem short tempered with guests. I was ordering and one of the ladies got frustrated with me while I took a moment to think about what kind of cheese I wanted. Ha. Really?
