Every time I visit this Subway the bread is hard or it could be stale. I would rather go to the Jonesville location.

Pathetic poorly instructed possibly stoned attendant. Raw cookies, burnt cookies. No wonder no one was there.

Girl walked up to our car while in line to take our order, so the line would move smoother. We hadnt tried them before so we asked for a cold latte suggestion. She recommended the carmello i think that what they called it. It definitely tasted alot better in my opinion than some of the coffees we had been getting from elsewhere, you could taste the coffee and the caramel. It stayed cold and not watered down all the way back to Gainesville. It had a cool coffee spot vibe.not sure if there is a place to sit down inside or if it is strictly drive thru. Did see people walking up through the parking lot towards the building so not sure. Have noticed alot of these branded coffee shops popping up, definitely give them a shot. And the price was cheaper than our regular go to spot by the house.

More than once now, they'd give me sweet when I asked for unsweet and I'd have to chuck it. Then, last time in, they said they don't make it anymore. ...don't you sort of have to have one to have the other? That's a new one on me. This location does have the best chicken salad sammich. Seems there's some variation between stores and they've got it down here.

The guy at the counter seemed flustered ,was on phone. Then first sign was no cauliflower bites, which wife was looking forward to. Ordered some cajun sweet potato fries, and sliders and a double smash burger. I love the look of the restaurant as it is in a.Historic building. Has that early 1900 vibe. They have a Happy Hour from 4-6 items that arent on their posted menu so look at the small sign posted on the tables.. also they posted up a sign in the front of their restaurant on the sidewalk after we entered with a bunch of other menu items that are on their regular menu. As far as our food goes, burger was average the chicken sliders, wete very dry, wife, had to use some of my mayonnaise from my burger, there there was no ranch to be found on there. Both the cajun, sweet potato fries and my waffle fries with my burger. Seemed like they had been cooked too long. And on their menu online , on their website they had soup listed, wife asked about the soup, they said they had none today. I was really looking forward to this restaurant due to all of the reviews on Facebook. I left there feeling let down , i really hope this restaurant improves, being in a small town., small business

Entering it kind of reminds you of a farmhouse, I guess. Pretty standard furnishings and decoration for a country diner sort of place. Of course, we were there for breakfast, so the standard diner breakfast was on the menu. The full menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, and a couple of barbecue dishes. If there were more screens mounted on the walls I would call it a sportsbar, but that isn't the case. Our orders were taken, and I had gone for eggs, hashbrowns, and corned beef because it was St Patty's Day. Realistically one of the few times that I have legitimately had food that was appropriate for the holiday. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time for a group of ten, so the kitchen and staff knew what they were doing. The food was fine... nothing to really shout out about, but also not bad. It was what I expected it to be, and that was good enough.

1906 Farmhouse 25405 W Newberry Rd, Newberry, FL 32669…read more ***SWILL ALERT*** Pulling up to the hitchin' post at the 1906 Farmhouse, all seemed well and fine. I don't mind themed restaurants (they can be fun). This place was designed to model the Farmhouse where the ranch hands gathered for meals before and after a long day of riding. I dug it. It gave off a warm, welcoming, one-of-the-family vibe. Kasey was my server for the meal and she was frowning before I asked one question. I placed an order for one Country Fried Steak with sides of Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese, along with some Strawberry Shortcake to round out the meal. I soon saw Cantankerous Kasey begrudgingly returning with my victuals. I don't understand this attitude. Am I supposed to be grateful she deigned to work here? Anyway, if any of you are curious like me, you may have often wondered what it was like to spend a day in jail. To that end, I admit, I got myself hauled off to the County Hoosegow. Wanting to make the most out of my tax dollars, I booked my stay to include lunch. The dry bologna sandwich you receive, along with the juice bag to wash it down, is something you try to forget. As I looked at the slop my trustee, Kasey, placed before me, I began to long for the county jail government issue bologna. The Country Fried Steak was fresh from the freezer and cooked with the precision of Stevie Wonder passing his behind-the-wheel driving test. I've been hit with hockey pucks softer than this garbage. The gravy was made in the Sysco factory and this had to be their bottom-grade slush. It was as tasty as flour and water. Wait. The sides were a step down from the entree, if that is possible. Just look at the pictures and tell me, does anything look appetizing? While I am not one to ever judge a book by its cover, as looks can be deceiving. In this case, they are not, and the adage 'a picture speaks a thousand words' is spot on. The Collard Greens were obviously from an industrial can. Hey, don't get me wrong, all restaurants use a food service, but you don't have to be cheap about it and try to finagle the dining population by using the lowest quality they have to offer. The Mac & Cheese looked more like something a dog regurgitated than actual food. It was dry and pasty on the palate--just the way it is not supposed to be. The Strawberry Shortcake is also food service, not unlike the stuff you got in high school, only worse. Kudos, 1906 Farmhouse, you officially serve Swill sans the fly. At least on this visit. The Big Boy says, "I wouldn't serve this SWILL to a dead dog."

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into every dish. The inside (and outside) of the café is so cute and well-done -- bright, welcoming, and full of charm. We sat at the back table by the glass wall and loved the view. BUT... the service was a letdown. It's a seat-yourself place, which is fine, but we only saw our waitress three times: 1 When she brought our drinks 2 When she took our order 3 When she delivered our food That was it. No refills, no check, no follow-up -- while other tables (mostly locals) were getting consistent attention. We watched others getting drink refills, to-go boxes, and their checks brought to them... while we sat waiting and eventually had to go find someone ourselves. It definitely gave off a "locals only" vibe, and sadly, we felt overlooked. It was especially disappointing because we really wanted to love this place -- and we almost did. The food is , the atmosphere is beautiful, but the service just didn't match the quality of everything else. Would I recommend it? Yes -- for the food. Just be prepared that if you're not a regular, the experience might feel a bit cold. Hopefully, they work on that, because the place has serious potential!

My friend and I met after we parked our bikes. She was sitting outside, and as I was locking my bike, less than a block away, she texted me. I just walked to her without responding, and with a smile and a hug, we walked in to look at the menu. The sandwiches have some very creative names that go along with their creative construction. I got a #10, which was a fusion of French dip and Philly cheese!! I wanna buy the person a beer, whoever thought of that one! Even though it was busy, we didn't wait long to order. Every sandwich comes in a paper bag, so you can take it out or stay and munch. We got a combo with chips and a drink, because how else do you eat a big sandwich like this?! There are board games to play, decor that is not typical and a big display of Guy Fieri, from the Food Network, that lets you know this place is on America's culinary map. After the sandwiches were done, I brought them out to my friend Kimberly, who was saving our table. We both were hungry, so out of the wrap and in with the teeth. Mine was full of flavor and the fact that all the sandwiches are heat-pressed, made the texture very satisfying. The au jus was thick and delicious and made me think someone took great time and effort to make it. It is a casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends, or a solo quick lunch, that can also be a dinner as well. The food is somewhat pricey, but it delivers as a good meal with a creative touch. They could have emptied the garbage can more quickly, as it was more than overflowing, when I went to throw the garbage away. Memorable food, and makes me want to come back to try at least two other sandwiches that I read about.
