Beautiful modern but yet some rustic boho design. Loved all the real plant life! Spacious and welcoming!!

This was suppose to be a quick stop but ended up staying to eat. Such a welcoming environment from the decor, the staff, the owner/Nate and the food! Authentic salsas and tacos. The food was SO good! Definitely worth stopping for!! Only 20 min from UF. We will make a point to visit again when we travel.

If I lived in the area, I would be here all the time. Food was excellent. service was kind and accommodating to my very pregnant indecisive self. The options of vegetarian variety was wonderful to see and taste. Tried the mushroom zucchini and eggplant all would be ordered again. The place itself was clean and I really appreciated the amenities provided. Such as sanitizer in the condiment caddies on every table, the feminine products provided in the bathrooms and the lotion to use after thoroughly washing hands. One of my favorite aspects was the complimentary water. it was so good I used the paid for drink cup to fill up with the complimentary water.

We had flour, soft shell tacos. They come in threes and all three were different, fish, steak, and pork. We also had the queso with chips. Everything tasted so good. I highly recommend you visit this place.

I have passed by this place dozens of times in Tioga, however since it was Cinco de Mayo - of course tacos are obligatory. My friend called in to see the wait time and thankfully it was less than an hour. That was a great wait time in comparison to other restaurants in town that were up to 3 hours! When arriving, it was slammed, which was to be expected on a Friday and a holiday. However, we decided to order our food to dine in at the outdoor seating. Once glancing over the menu, there is a great selection of entrees and several options for your tacos. From seafood to chicken to steak to even great veggie options, there's definitely something for everyone. I decided to order 3 tacos - hard shell, one chicken, one shrimp, and one fish. I decided to get all the fixings - lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, sour cream - and added limes, pickled and fresh jalapenos. In addition, I was eying the agua fresca once we were greeted at the cashier. I went with the mango agua fresca and opted in for the dried chilli mango candy inside of the drink. This was the perfect amount of sweet and tangy from the chilli. It was giving mangonada vibes. The wait time honestly was maybe 20-25 minutes - which was great for my hungry belly. Out of the 3 tacos, I would order the shrimp and fish again. The shrimp were huge and very juicy. The fish was blackened and very well seasoned. The chicken fell flat for me. It was very salty and a little rubbery. My friend ordered chips and guac and it was very fresh and delicious. I love their variety of salsas which was great compliments to the chips and tacos. Definitely will be back to try out their other entrees and taco options!

Been here a few times now and never really been blown away. I've tried a variety of meats and have yet to figure out my order. The best meat in my opinion is the carnitas, which are fantastic. The chicken is not great, and the fish and shrimp are just okay. Next time I will order a bowl, as the corn tortillas fall apart by the time the food reaches the table. I'm not sure if this is a recent change, but the prices are very high for what you get. $11-15 for three tacos at a casual taco joint is a little high. This doesn't even include salsa which you have to pay extra for. Comparing to other places nearby, I can get a big bowl of food from other places for less expensive.

I love this local restaurant! I haven't been here and quite some time but it's still good as ever. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Gainesville. On this time in I had the California steak burrito and it was so good. Anytime you can get fires in your burrito, you're in a good space. I also liked the mango drink with my burrito and it was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

I throughly enjoyed my experience here. I assumed it was a run of the mill "Tex-mex blah". No. BETTER. I had the barbacoa quesidilla, fully loaded with a large mango juice. The beef was so rich the sides of sour cream and verde thoroughly complimented. Our table of two, we normally talk and discuss the food or the travel thus far--faces were stuffed to content

First time here and definitely NOT the last time! This one is the location in Alachua! It's new and spacious! I mean I LOVE Tacos so this here is definitely a vibe! I got the 3 tacos(1 chicken and 2 grilled fish) and they were yummy! They have bowls as well which next time I will definitely get! We also got some spicy salsa with chips and it was delicious! Overall a great lunch! I left the restaurant happy and full!

Left gville a while ago and I still dream about these tacos!! Everything is just super fresh and delicious! I'm not a huge taco person but these tacos are some of the best I've ever had!

OK, Cilantro's was always one of our favorite food trucks to hit up after a late night. We also used to make pilgrimage outs to Newberry to eat at their original location the new location in Town of Tioga is a nicer version of the original store. The food is just as good but the store and location are much nicer. We pretty much tried one of each from column a and B on this trip. My favorite is the steak. Typically I get them loaded with pickled jalapeños. There are numerous sauces to choose From, but my favorite is the salsa Verde. I'm really glad they build a location that's closer to my home, they are welcome addition to the neighborhood Update: well we've been back to cilantro is at least a dozen times since my first review, and the food is still awesome. This place is just like Felipe's, just much better. Since the departure of Burrito Brothers I needed a good local Mexican food spot to have a nice casual lunch. This is one of my favorites. This place is more known for its street tacos, though I still like Linda Vista for a sitdown Mexican meal. I can't giv this restaurant a more hearty recommendation. A great casual place for lunch. P.S.if you don't see the special boards ask them if they have their two taco lunch special. It's a great deal and sometimes you just have to ask for it. P.S.S. Many trips later it's still fantastic.

We went specifically for their Valentine's special: 2 margaritas, fajitas for two, and dessert, such a great deal! The margaritas were delicious. We ordered the Rita sampler and the blueberry margarita tasted like blueberry pie, so fresh, organic, and absolutely yummy. We also ordered homemade guacamole, which was delectable, paired with fresh, crispy homemade chips. Our fajitas included steak, pork, chicken, and shrimp, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible!!! And can we talk about the restaurant itself? It's HUGE! It felt like one of those multi-level Times Square NYC restaurants, with multiple floors and even outside patio seating. It was like a magic trick walking through it! Our waitress, Lia, was fantastic, attentive, helpful, and so sweet despite how busy it was. The staff worked incredibly hard all night and it showed. So picky in fact my friend Davis and I go to get Mexican once a week in Ocala because we're not satisfied with any Gainesville or Newberry Mexican restaurants. The ambience here is . . . well, you can see it as festive or garish I guess either one. Very brightly colored Mexican chairs and everything else. Both a radio playing and television on with sound: I don't get why restaurants need to have TVs, I can see it for a sports bar but every single restaurant? Come on. Service however was friendly and prompt. Then there is the food. The chips and salsa were certainly homemade and tasty. I ordered chicken tamales and the three-tamale plate comes with rice, black beans, and the tamales themselves buried beneath a salad of lettuce, tomato, and Mexican cheese. The plate was enormous and every aspect of it fresh and very, very, good. The tamales, especially. Prices are very fair for such quality and large plates of food. Maybe when it first opened things ran a bit rough hence the poor reviews but I was only impressed: first-rate authentic Mexican with a varied menu and very good portions.

But now I have finally had the opportunity, and it was definitely worth it! Typically parked next to the old Hollander's Hydraulics building, this taco stand has been operating in the parking lot for the past month, and appears to be doing quite well. They now have their own porta-potty, mostly for themselves but I would assume guests would be able to use it as well if needed. Access from both sides of the road is easy enough as well as there is a cross-over of 441 right at the entrance to the parking lot. Their menu has all the regular things you would expect with a variety of meats... tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and tostadas. I went with an order of tacos and a burrito. Now, I have found that tacos have become a bit over-hyped, and therefore expensive for what you get. This was the case as well... while the tacos are good, I just found them to be a bit pricey for what you get. You definitely get a better bang for the buck when it comes to the burrito, and I was quite happy with it. When it comes to ambiance, well... it is a taco truck on the side of the road. There is plenty of parking, but nowhere to sit, so this is purely a grab and go kind of place for the time being. Perhaps as they become more established in the location they will have a chance to put out some picnic tables or something so people can sit outside and eat their meals.
