NEVER AGAIN!! Attempted to place an order this evening from Subway, had my order cancelled not once by THREE times on the app (Grubhub AND Subway App). Received text notifications that the orders I attempted to place had been cancelled and to try again. After deciding to give up after third attempt, I then received an email notification that my bank had authorized a purchase for SUBWAY...not once but THREE times!! When I logged into my online bank account, I did, in fact, see that there are now THREE pending charges ALL from Subway, totalling nearly $150!! So now, I'm being charged THREE TIMES for orders I NEVER received. I have had issues in the past with our local Subway stores, but this was the absolute WORST. The first thing you notice about the subway on South Highway 25 in Monticello are the smells. The smells hit you like the Mack truck, but in a good way. We enjoyed several sandwiches at the Subway and we found that the staff was both engaging and a little bit spicy. sure it might've been her T-shirt which was adorned with the word "spicy" but I think it was the whole brand coming to life as we consumed our toasted sandwiches and the amazing macadamia nut cookies. The only reason we're not giving the South Highway 25 Monticello subway a "five" is the lack of signage to the bathrooms. Speaking candidly we could've used a little more expediency when looking for the bathroom, if you know what I mean. Usually love this place but the new staff has really taken this place down a level. 2 stars is for the food because I just love the food here. Service was slow and I witnessed multiple workers standing around during prime lunch hours when there was a busy line. And on top of all that, they messed up my order too! I have been here a couple times and every time I come here the bread is always dry. It's like they use the old bread from days before. Staff is mostly teens and are not very friendly. Took the wife and kiddos to lunch today. They were ultra friendly to my 9 year old that took alot of pride in selecting and paying for her meal. They did not freak out when my two year old grabbed a bag of chips and started eating them. Very cool crew. read more

First off: food is great, only reason why I return. The initial issue was not so much the stores fault, but what they did, or lack there of, to make it right with the customer is why I will never go back to that specific subway location. I am now driving to the Walmart Subway 2 blocks away to get the same great food with better service. Long story summarized, the subway app kept telling me my cart was expired, so went in and paid for my meal like usual. But, my order did end up going through and they notified me that it was ready hours later. Spoke with the manager Amy, she said I have to come back in with the card to receive my refund for the food I already purchased twice that day. Since, she has told me her schedule and to come in before certain hours, and when I arrived within said hours? She left work early for the day because it was slow, even after I told her I was making it in that day. Now, I've called numerous times to speak with her, and she is either just too busy to take my phone call or not at the store. i went to this subway about a week ago and i by far do not reccomend it to anyone! i asked for a roasted chicked sandwich and for one they had none warmed up and it was only about 6 oclock so no where near closing. they grabbed the chicken out of the freezer and warmed it up. they said that toastig the bread would warm the chicken as well. as i was waiting for my sandwich the guy and girl working were messing around and left me and my family in the front alone. finally we got our food and left. once i started eating my chicken was frozen solid and wasnt even cooked all the way through. all in all a horrible experience and will never make anyone go there again. read more
