On April 10th, 2026 at 8:48 PM, I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience that I feel others should be aware of. I accidentally placed an order at this Subway location while I was no longer in the area. I actually intended to order from a Santa Ana location instead. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately tried to correct it because I could not proceed with the order. I called the store several times and even left a message, but never received any response. Despite that, the order was still prepared anyway, with no attempt to contact me or confirm anything. A simple phone call could have prevented this entire situation, which makes the lack of communication even more frustrating. That day, I did not have any other food options, and this order was supposed to be my only solution for the day, which made the situation even more stressful. I also have call logs that clearly show my attempts to reach the store, which confirms I made multiple good faith efforts to resolve the issue immediately. To make it worse, the only communication I received was on April 14th, 2026, stating I would receive a 30 percent discount that expires tomorrow. However, this is not helpful at all since I currently do not have the funds available to use it. On top of everything, I was told I would not receive a refund or even my points back, which feels completely unreasonable given that I acted right away to fix the mistake. Overall, I am very disappointed with how this was handled and the lack of basic communication. I will be disputing the charge with my bank, and I hope others do not experience the same lack of responsiveness. read more

Placed an online pickup order. Say at the store for over half an hour after it was supposed to be ready. They said they don't have my order and repeatedly told me I was at the wrong store. I was in fact not at the wrong store and even verified address multiple times. They refused to do anything. They barely spoke English so I couldn't even get anywhere because how bad the language barrier was. Repeatedly told me my name was in fact a different persons name and kept telling me I don't know my own name. One of the WORST Subways I have ever been too!! The older Mexican lady with glasses has NO understanding of customer service. I arrived here around 9pm and waited in line, not behind any customers, but behind TO-GO orders. I've been in customer service most of my life and know that you always take care of the walk-ins First before the phone/online orders. She refused to serve me until she completed all of the To-Go orders. On top of that Speed is definitely not one of her strong suits. This location is hit or miss. You can either get a great sandwich or terrible sandwich. 50/50 chance of either. Last night it was terrible. Ordered from the app. It was a pick up order and I'm assuming they had to fill the people standing there first then the pickup orders. We picked up our order and there was no churro in the bag. Went back in and they handed us a churro and a pretzel. The churro literally had no cinnamon or sugar on it and it was a limp noodle however it tasted burnt but it wasn't even golden brown. Very odd. Every time I order a pick-up from this place the bread on my sandwich is wrong. That's annoying but I can live with it.. even though I shouldn't have to since I'm paying them. But today they made my sandwich wrong twice. The first time I got the wrong bread at lunch. Then I ordered a different sandwich at dinner. I ordered a basic meatball and wanted to add cheese and jalapeños. When I got the sandwich it had no cheese, no jalapeños, a teaspoon of sauce, and 4 pathetic mouse balls. And as usual it was on the wrong bread. This all has to be deliberate at this point. They obviously don't care at all. I don't think I'm winning the subway wrong order lottery each time. Nice location but the staff needs some better training. They don't listen to their customers and they mess up on orders. While we were there, picking up our sandwiches, three other customers were upset because their orders were messed up as well. We had two orders in, and the worker behind the counter argued that we didn't. She was reading the name wrong, and my husband pointed out the ticket on the counter. She kept reading the name wrong. He kept reading the name correctly out loud four or five times until she finally realized she was reading it wrong. The listening skills are not on point and they do not pay attention to detail, so double check your order before you leave to make sure that you have what you want. read more

I was happy to see that she was putting together a couple of nice looking sandwiches with lots of the fresh toppings that I had asked for. Updated review: stopped by today 12/19 on my lunch and did not have the same good experience I usually do. I was ordering and it was loud inside the store so the lady kept saying "I can't hear you" or leaning forward with her hand to her ear - no problem I get it it's loud so I leaned in closer. As it continues she gets so frustrated that she can't hear me that she starts rolling her eyes. Instead of getting mad at the customer maybe turn town the music or limit the amount of people inside the store at a time, which in my opinion you should be doing regardless because of covid. I ordered the six inch Breakfast Combo: wheat flatbread; eggs, ham, Swiss cheese, red onions, spinach, olives, cucumbers, tomato, and mayo. I had it toasted, and it was good and flavorful; with potato chips, and a Diet Coke to balance the meal. The cashier was nice and friendly and very helpful. I work around the corner on El Toro and Marguerite so it's the closest one besides the one next to Ralphs shopping center across the street. I'm a frequent customer yet every time they greet and customize your sandwich, it's like it's the most annoying thing ever. They don't smile. They seems to always be on their PMS. And I ALWAYS have to repeat myself over the simplest sandwich. You better watch what they put in your sandwich because otherwise you end up having to come back, waste your time, and get even more aggravated they don't apologize for their mistake and make it seem like it's your fault. They've made mistakes over my sandwiches before. I took the time to come back and they accuse you of being at fault. Adding avocado to any order is pretty awesome, but we've had it missing from #7 Sliced Avo Mexicali, which is pretty disappointing since the name of the sandwich has Avocado in the title!! We came in here and ordered $45.00 worth of sandwiches. First off on the sticker menu it says mini artesian bread at the bottom. I asked for a mini sandwich on artisan bread. The lady acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and insisted that she never heard of that and was giving me rude looks. I gave up and ordered a 6 inch. The other sandwiches were supposed to be lightly toasted. They over did the toasting on them and the bread was hard. This has been my go-to subway for years. I haven't visited in awhile but decided to go in today. I am terribly disappointed with the customer service. I asked for two subs and as I was going through the line, I asked for a veggie delight with bacon and a sub with no meat or cheese. The women rudely corrected me saying "you mean a BLT?". She put the bacon on the wrong sub and I clarified that it was on the other sub. She seemed upset with this request and let out a frustrated sigh as she put the bacon on the other sub. I work in the food service industry and I know that customers don't always understand the store's menu which can be frustrating at times. I tried my best to apologize and get through the line quickly but her attitude made me hesitant to ask questions which left me settling with the items on my sub. This Subway is the cheapest sandwich shop I've ever been to. Not price but..... I gave my order of a tuna sandwich to the staff and she started my sandwich. I was about to object to the tiny amount of tuna she put on when another employer came over and removed the tuna scoops and cut them IN HALF. They would only put about 6 pickle slices on or it would be extra. No more than about 8 slivers of onion or of course it would be extra. A tiny amount of cheese or.... Well you get the idea. I went here today and was very displeased with the service and food Patty made my sub, as she was the only visible employee around. When I walked in, it took her a few minutes to even acknowledge me. After she gloved up, I ordered. I asked for a small amount of onions, she threw on a handful, in the middle of the sub. I asked for pickles, she put two. You get the picture. She really did not care. After I paid, I grabbed the bag with my sub, and put my fingers in a mess of mustard. There was mustard all over the handle. When I opened up my sub, there was mustard and mayo EVERYWHERE, but inside the sub. Half the contents had fallen out, and the remaining contents were on the edge of the sub. So I had to remake my sub, and wash my hands from the ridiculous amount of mayo and mustard that was literally everywhere.
