The live mas cafe edition is great. But at this location its a gamble whether they get your order right or not.

Taco Bell MESSED UP this store. I previously gave 5 stars...manager Jorge is awesome and some of the employees are pretty good, whereas the rest were so so. But, since their construction this place has gone way down hill. A lot of newer employees it seems, but thats no excuse. Food amounts are different each time, taco with barely any meat, pinto and cheese with about half the amount as before, and more issues... It does not seem that Taco Bell reduced sizes as sometimes everything is fine. BUT, the biggest issue is the now heavily long wait times. Drive thru wait time has become incredibly long and in store wait time is now also really bad. Along with that the newer employees really suck, bad. Taco Bell made a bad choice removing the soda machine. Now, you cant get your drink before your order is ready, and more important, they never have your drink made when your order is ready. Kids cant go get their own water. Taco Bell has basically caused a lot more work for their employees. I'll 100% update this review if it gets better, but so far it has not. If for some reason i have to go to this location and eat in store, i will most likely be ordering in drive thru then taking the food inside as the drive thru wait time is still better than in store, even though the drive thru is no longer fast. read more

Drove by on a Sunday at 10:30 on a holiday weekend and they said they "had to close early." Definitely not honoring their hours. Unfortunate because this is one of the few drive throughs open in the area but you clearly can't count on them to be open their stated hours. Would not waste my time going back. read more

Just had a unique and disappointing experience. I was watching the worker and she poured the wrong drink into my cup. I saw her then pour it out and quickly rinse it. I realized what she was doing and asked for a new cup. She basically said no and said that she had rinsed it and then continued to fill it up with the correct drink. I didn't have time to continue to push back so I just took the drink and left. read more

I probably won't go to Taco Bell for a long time (possibly years). Employees and service were good. But the food didnt meet my quality for Mexican food. Beans were Luke warm and didn't taste good. Plus I keep on forgetting they put onions in there bean and cheese burritos (who does this!). This place just lost my appeal for Taco Bell. read more

I ant to express my sincere thanks to the young man behind the counter who came to my rescue on Saturday. My car broke down, and while I waited for the tow truck, my phone was almost dead. I had a cord, but no brick to plug in to the receptacles available. When I asked if there were any USB ports in the restaurant, he said no, but gave me a brick to plug in. He really saved me! This place is just terrible! I've been eating here for a decade (my wife likes it) and it's close to my house and 8 out of 10 orders is 100% wrong . They can't even forget to include or not too one simple ingredient. Management at this location is just awful cause if they were great they wouldn't allow these many mistakes. For the record, after speaking to corporate, and a promise the District Manager would call me, never happened, looks like they dont care how badly this restaurant treats customers Just say no. I went in and used the kiosk, saw a cash option and hit it. Then went to the counter. After 10 minutes a person asked my name and order, checked the machines and walked away. After another 15 minutes I asked about my order, he asked if I ordered on the kiosk, I said yes, he said my order wasn't there. Turns out when you pay cash, you have to flag them down and pay immediately, or your order doesnt get started. Would be nice if the Kiosk gave instructions for that, but, seriously, you asked about my order, wouldn't you ask then ? When asked how long my order would be, was told don't know, we have a big order, do you want it or not. I asked for the managers name, had to ask 4 times, the guy just said I am the manager. I asked if he was the General Manager, he would only repeat I am the Manager, another multiple times of playing this game he gave his name as Jesus. Next day I acalled in and asked the General Managers name, the lady answering asked me to hold. A lady came on and asked "Who is it". Told her I dont know, I am asking the General Managers name, she repeated , "Who is it", well I still don't know that is why I am asking, finally she claimed to be the General Manager. I repeated what happened the previous night and she asked the Managers name, I told her Jesus. She asked me what he looked like, so I asked, do you not know your Manager staff ? So, according to her, "Jesus" gave me a fake name. So now, I have no clue if I ever spoke to any Manager in this location, or a bunch of fool employees playing games. If this is how Taco Bell runs a company, no wonder the recent reviews are so bad, and if the GM actually reads this, you need to clean house, I get and understand it is rough to get a quality employee these days, but yours are a joke, my money will go elsewhere, and we have been coming to this location, without issues for over 20 years read more

this taco bell is a disgrace to the company and all of its associates within the taco bell name. corporate should get on them for it and not leave them alone. i mean its already a 2.3 rated taco bell on yelp which is terrible. it seems as though every time i order food here there is something wrong with my food like taco shells are cracked in many spots. there was a hole and a moist spot on one of the same tacos with the cracks and the burrito in my 9 dollar box was filled with spicy ranch for no reason and way too much of it. also last time my taco was filled only halfway with meat and other toppings. im not even kidding this taco bell is the worst i have ever had like out of any place i have ever ate at and their problems and its just about every time i go there something is wrong. you people are disrespectful and you truly suck. i wish you the worst as well. read more

I am as serious as someone can possibly be. I ate a Mexican Pizza from here last night 12/30/2024 that had me vomiting all night plus stomach issues. Your staff effectively ruined my new year's plan. If you are not aware, you have other reviews detailing this exact scenario regarding food poisoning. Your workers have to be clean, servsafe trained, and hygienic with their food preparation. A restaurant in California can be held liable if responsible for a food borne illness. This seems to be not the first case and your restaurant reviews reflect that. I have gone here multiple times and while the food is above average the service is below par and is rather unpleasant. They have forgotten my burrito or messed up and given me something not even close to what I ordered, as well as not given drinks. I normally enjoy Taco Bell, but wasn't too thrilled with our recent drive-thru experience with this branch. Last week Thursday, I had a new worker at the drive-thru window that gave me the creeps by overly touching my hand with every transaction from collecting my credit card to handing me our food and drinks. I felt like I was being hit on at the level of a dive bar. It was also the first time since Covid that I noticed our package wasn't handed to us sealed with their sticker. (Maybe they were out.) All in all, not the best overall experience. I actually pulled over in the shopping center parking lot after going through their drive-thru just to put a glob of hand sanitizer on my hands, (and up past my wrists) and added the spray on one afterwards just for good measures. I have been coming here for YEARS - Not every meal was perfect - customer service was not always great here but I came back .... I have also got home to find wait they forgot one of my tacos - damn it . Ok I will get over it this time but did my first online order Wed night for Mexican pizzas and wish I never did . I placed an order for my neighbors my mom and while doing so picked up one for myself - ordered 4 Mexican pizzas and the neighbor's wanted a dozen of those donut things and my mom got the 2 for her . So an easy order : 4 Mexican pizzas - one dozen donut, 2 donuts and 10 MILD SAUCE . I go to pick it up in drive through & $ 30.00 paid for this and the guy hands me the 2 bags HERE - I look in the bags and see 2 Mexican Pizzas and 1 dozens donuts and 2 donuts and 5 HOT SAUCE . Attached is the receipt showing what I paid for : obviously they missed reading it - I said excuse me I am missing 2 pizzas and I need 10 MILD SAUCE PLEASE : They are trying to search for my order to see if it's right - I wait for them to make 2 pizzas - ok I get the bag tossed to me I asked are the MILD SAUCE inside ? YES IT IS - I said ok don't get mad at me I Did nothing wrong . I pull away as people were behind - I drive a couple lights away and decide to check the bag / the pizzas were thrown Half inside the boxes and half sticking out of the boxes and to top it off 10 HOT SAUCES were inside not MILD AND NO Utensils - ok I'm Pissed now after my perfect day I am going back to speak to the manager. I go inside and ask for the manager as Im upset - these people clearly don't give two shits about CS or doing their job . She the manager listened and said sorry I will Re- make them myself but didn't really look to sorry she moved so slow as if she had no worries in the MFW . I Had people waiting on me and she was taking her sweet slow slow time but I waited - she made the pizzas up taking her sweet time - While she was making them she smirked . I took the pizzas to my neighbors and one to my mom and I kept one for myself - we all ate the food - they are not as good as they used to be - the sauce she put on the pizzas was spicy ( per the neighbors and myself) I woke up sick with a pancreas attack the next am & non stop diarrhea as did my neighbors so what did she put in the pizzas ? It would be one thing if only myself felt sick but for 3 out of 4 - my mom didn't eat all hers it was too spicy - good call mom ! Who knows but I know this much - she has lost not only me and my neighbors but my friends and family as I am a true believer in giving second chances but not to this Taco Bell - not to the people that work there not to the manager that really could give two shits literally. Taco Bell has consistently the worst food and customer service of all fast food places in my opinion. I only go here sometimes because I can grab something in a hurry for a $1 on my way home. My expectations are always low. Today was a whole new kind of repulsive and disgusting. I ordered a burrito and as soon as I had paid for it I checked my order. Because they frequently get my orders wrong. Thank God I opened up my burrito to check it. Because there was a clump of someone's hair inside of it. I argued with the cashier that this is unsanitary and if the employees were paying the slightest bit of attention they would have seen hair in my food before serving it to me. I asked, are the employees not keeping their hair back when making food? The cashier replied that hair must be in their pico de gallo. They said this very casually, as if its normal to have clumps of hair in the food. I made it clear I was disgusted and upset, and they didn't offer me a free drink, or a free cinnamon twists... nothing. They just said, so do you want your dollar back? Horrible horrible horrible customer service on top of serving unsanitary food. I've been a customer service manager many years and know the right thing to do in the situation would have been to offer the customer something. But they just said, if your not happy, call our phone number. And for the record I have tried letting the higher ups know about bad experiences with this company. I previously broke a tooth when they served me a bean burrito with a small rock inside of it, which cost me a lot to have fixed. Covid or no Covid, I think Taco Bell's service as a whole is horrible. This isn't limited to just one location - they are all horrible. Everytime we have ordered something it isn't done correctly. Even down to the salsa packets. Either the order taker isn't inputting the order correctly or the people making the food aren't reading the order. This time we ordered 2 crunchy tacos and 3 Nacho Bell Grandes with extra cheese. We received 4 things that were suppose to be tacos. They had no had no lettuce, were greasy as all hell and had barely any meat. The nachos didn't have the extra cheese sauce which I paid extra. If my grandkids didn't want to go here I wouldn't. I stopped to eat at the Taco Bell on 27770 Santa Margarita Parkway in Mission Viejo. I have eaten there a few times over the past 11 years. The place was nice and clean' The cashier was nice and friendly. I ordered the #6 combo meal, with a diet Pepsi' Two steak chalupas, one beef taco and a large diet Pepsi. The chalupas had, steak, cheese tomato and lettuce. Crunchy & taste. The taco I ordered had ground beef, lettuce and cheese. For dessert; I ordered; The Apple Empanada. It was delicious. I come here more so from my husband or son than for myself . Service is hit or miss, the store is very clean and you get your food super fast. Prices are cheap, you really can't beat their menu. I like their potato taco but that's about it, OK if you are in a pinch. read more

I will always recommend this Taco Bell. The "dollar" menu is well worth the prices, and the other news aren't bad for the price either. The only problem I've had here is that the wait in the drive through can be long at times. It's not the best in that regard, but the food is as good if not better than any other Taco Bell out there.
