I have already been twice prior to writing this review and really enjoyed the atmosphere at Alestone. It also doesn't help that they serve what is known as a cyser, which is a cider + mead hybrid that tastes delicious! My partner in crime also enjoyed their high ABV offering. I have not yet had the pleasure of trying their food, but I would love to come back for brunch!

One thing was that the brisket had a lot of grease, I put a napkin under my arepas so that they wouldn't get soggy and the napkin was soaked. It didn't deter me from enjoying my meal though, it just made it a little messy. I know for next time to immediately put something underneath the arepa. I placed my order for curbside and when I got there and found a spot & checked in it was out quickly. However when I got to where I was going & went to eat I realized it wasn't my order. Unfortunately it wasn't anything I could or would eat so I had to turn around & go back. But the employee who helped me was SO nice & knew exactly what had happened and had my sandwich & brownie ready to go & gave me an incentive to return. I completely understand we all make mistakes and while it can be inconvenient I believe in giving a little grace, which apparently could not be said for the guy whose order mine was mixed up with. That makes me sad because the people serving our food are human too and I think having a good attitude about it can turn the whole experience around. When I got my correct order it WAS delicious and I will definitely return because of how nice the gentleman who helped me was (wish I had gotten his name!).
