i've Never had a worse experience than this Subway at 99 Fortin Road Wakefield RI. Be very careful here. I was accused of being there before and walking out with sandwiches and they claimed my credit card didn't work After I left. Problem is I had never ever been there. I had a two dollar reward in my Subway account and I also had a coupon for a footlong, so I decided to order online and get a nice Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki footlong for me and my husband....after all the discounts, we paid $4.31 for the footlong...not bad. This location is right by the University of Rhode Island campus, so it was busy when I arrived, but my order was waiting in the Online pick up order area and it was easy and painless. The woman told my wife, that I was in there about a month ago and had the audacity to say, "I never forget a face! Rudest worker I have ever experienced! Ignored me when I walked in. Had to clarify every part of the order, sandwich, veggies, sauce. Would have gotten it wrong if I hadn't been right there. Had cell phone on wrapper playing music and moved it along line as she made my sandwich. Very messily made. Chicken bacon ranch. Too much chicken. Aren't they supposed to measure portion? The worker did a great job with overloading with lettuce (even though i didnt want that much) and asking if me and my friend were dating. Absolutely amazing service while also being the strangest experience I've ever had. Last night my wife and I had a 6" rotisserie chicken sandwich and a subway club. Both sandwiches were made awful. The woman barely out any veggies on them when asked and was mad when we asked for extra veggies. In addition, we ordered lemonade and no one told us they were out of lemonade so after paying we had to settle for the limited soda bevs they had. I needed to provide lunch for 30 students who were attending an off-site event. Many of the students were here from other counties. I was able to go on the catering site with a head count for each sandwich (including some vegetarian options)and order boxed lunches to satisfy everyone. The site was easy to use and even allowed me to leave the tip online. I was updated by email that my order was received and reminded the day of the event that my boxed lunches would be ready on time. I arrived at the store a few minutes early and a friendly staff member told me my order was all ready. She helped me take the bags out to my car and I was on my way. I will definitely do this again. The students were happy w the food. The box contained their sandwich, chips, cookie, condiment packet and napkin. Super easy! read more

For the last 4 or 5 years, I have moved away from mcdonalds and burger king and started dining at Subway far too often. I love subway. Lots of tasty options, good portions for affordable prices, and the restaurant always smells delicious. The Emporium Subway is by far my favorite. Excellent customer service (often lacking at many locations) is a mainstay here, and the employees will recognize you if you're a regular. The sandwiches are always well made, and the line moves quickly at mid day rush. Lately, there isn't any business chain I have been to more. Each time, total satisfaction is achieved, and that is why I return so much. If you're in early, try a flatbread egg and cheese sandwich. Its is very good and well priced. read more

I am a coke loyalist and I will choose restaurants if possible if they serve Coke Zero versus Diet Pepsi for example. I came here today before the lunch rush and when I went to get a fountain drink it was inoperable for coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero. I immediately alerted the owner politely and he said I'll be there...waited and when he got busier he forgot about me. I ended up leaving. Why not test the fountain drinks as part of opening procedure? I vote with my wallet...sorry . read more

Wow! The Subway in the URI Emporium is now offering pizza, pasta, and wings. My 14 year old is a very picky eater and considers himself a pizza connoisseur and wanted to try it. He loved it!!! The crust was soo good. He said it was the "perfect sauce to cheese ratio" lol. Definitely worth a try. The restaurant is very clean and spacious so lots of room to socially distance and there is even a table outside. I definitely will be adding it into our weekly rotation. read more

This place is horrible. I know subway has pre-packaged serving sizes but I have seen these employees actually make those amounts smaller. I got a foot lunch chicken bacon ranch and counted 8 pieces of chicken on it. I brought this up to the manager and he angrily told me if I didn't like it I could leave. Also I have seen some employees who have pretty grotesque facial hair, make sandwiches without gloves. Overall I would never go back there unless you're into getting ripped off! read more
