The Elote and pork rinds were the perfect combination of texture and flavor, the braised Mutton Tostada was quite possibly the best mutton I've ever had, the glaze on the shrimp in the Fry Bread Chalupa was as good or better than the blue corn fry bread it was served over, and the Apple Pie Nachos were a pleasant end to an outstanding meal. The service was excellent. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and our food came out quickly. The pricing was very reasonable and the inside atmosphere is welcoming with a comfortable aesthetic. We loved the Navajo influence on several of the menu options. This place is definitely worth a try. We will absolutely be back!

It had a complex, interesting flavor, but something about it struck me as tasting slightly mass-produced. Service was excellent and five star. Overall, I'd give the experience about 4.25 stars and happily return for the overall quality, setting, and chance to see if they can deliver a five-star experience across the board.

Loads of amazing American indian artifacts, gifts, pottery, jewelry and so much more. Hence we noticed the restaurant. It's towards the end of it. It was about 20-25 minutes. It was fine, more time to browse the store. There's also an area that you could wait outside with a view of the mountains and plains but it was dark and pitch black. Once we were buzzed and seated. The table already had a carafe of iced water on it. All the tables did. Menu wise, limited but some nice dishes. Don't know if it changes seasonal or it's the same menu. Food wise, went with the Arizona fried chicken. Three pieces tossed in a southwestern batter and deep fried. Served with jalapeños slices. Also a choice of fries, mash potatoes or white rice and seasoned veggies which was corn. And a piece of grilled Arizona bread which is similar to pita bread. Chicken was quite nice and juicy. Batter was good, not too much of it and a nice crunch. It was quite nice. Also had a bowl of soup which was like chicken tortillas without tortilla chips. That was quite nice as well. And an order of the chili beans con carne. A southwestern favorite which was a bowl of chili with shredded cheese and onions and served a side. The beef was flavorful and very hearty. Food was good, service was great. All the staff were very friendly. We asked about breakfast but it's only served for hotel guest. As well as meals after 7pm. Also, they don't have alcohol. This is also another one of those times I will be a devils advocate among my fellow yelpers and elites alike. To a point yes but prime season when a bus and herd of tourists pulls up to the few employees thats available here in the middle of nowhere, what do you expect?? I came during off season, beautiful weather, definitely less people, no issues with kiosk or better yet some need to learn how to use mobile app to order their food like i did and got my food quick without issues. Compared to many McDonalds I have visited in many cities and states, this was actually one of my better experiences especially being in the middle of nowhere. Place was clean! Employees were super attentive to look around to clean and mop immediately as people left the tables. In Los Angeles, some employees can care less. The kids play area was also well kept and clean. They also have a family restroom in middle of restaurant close to kids play area. First time I ever seen that so thats a definite plus! My iced coffee was also made perfectly.
