This is a restaurant that serves a small southern town. It is by no means fancy, but it fits in Joelton as a welcome member of this community. It provides simple country cooking at a fair price served by friendly servers. In fact, many were greeted by name as they walked in. I had the chicken fried chicken (which was the breakfast and lunch special). I had it with eggs over easy, toast, and home fries. The home fries were good and the eggs properly prepared but the chicken fried chicken and the accompanying white gravy were definitely unspectacular. In fact, I would hazard a guess that the chicken came out of a frozen box and the white gravy came out of a can. As I said, this restaurant will never be written in the pages of culinary history, but it will remain in the memories of countless kids who grew up here as they reminisce about the good old days.

They can get busy during peak times, but luckily the space is large and even on a busy night I've had excellent service.
