What's even more frustrating is that there's usually no apology or acknowledgment for the long wait. I also don't understand the purpose of ordering ahead if the food isn't actually prepared until we arrive. The whole point of ordering ahead is to have the food ready when we get there. Most other restaurants and fast-food chains begin preparing the order when it's placed, not when the customer arrives. I really hope this specific location can improve its curbside and mobile-order process. Ordering ahead should make the experience faster and more convenient--not result in a longer wait and having to go inside to find your own order.
