This Subway is so sad. They're clean enough, but the sandwiches are always squished when you get them. Very skimpy meat and vegetables on sandwiches. Don't understand why. WHO EVER HEARD OF AN ICE COLD MEATBALL SUB!!!!!!!!! Probably with uncooked meatballs as well. I placed an online order for a meatball sub. I arrived when it said it would be ready. I was advised they were still prepping the meatballs and it would take another 15minutes. I waited. I ended up with a six inch instead of foot long. When advised I was to have a foot long they went and made another six inch. I walked out to check sandwich and meatballs were ice cold. I was advised that is how a meatball sandwich is and that the meatballs would be cold due to me not wanting it toasted. The "manager" refused to touch the meatballs - telling me that they aren't allowed to touch food once I receive. As I was calmly asking why they weren't cooked and they kept saying they were. The two male employees behind the counter kept telling me not to yell. I wasn't. I declined a replacement because they told me it would be made same way since not toasting. I asked for a refund and the regional or franchisees name. They said we don't know and can't provide information. They did provide a refund. Instead of making the sandwich "the right way". All what was said was "you need to stop yelling" my response was I am not yelling- if I was you would know. I am looking to speak with your manager - "he's right there"Josh". Who refused to touch food or assist instead he walked away. Started to help another customer. I am deeply saddened as I have been to this location before with no problem and will not be going back. The owner also has other locations in area and I won't be going to those as well. Two kids between 16-19 has no being there alone. Super lazy, cocky and way out of line. The one liner of "you don't need to yell at us or talk to us this way" doesn't go far. When you are asking questions asking them to realize what they did wrong and would do wrong again. When originally walking in the place was in dis-array, not cleaned and makes me nervous no matter what going back. How can I be sure they are doing food handling correctly - there should be an inspection to see if up to code. Obviously, they aren't doing it correctly serving cold meatballs that were like ice. They have a very limited menu due to food inventory. My sandwich was a quarter made, when they discovered they didn't have the required ingredients. This location also doesn't participate in most of the 5$ footling promotions. There's a nice, little sign by the register informing the customer of it. read more

I went to the lakesite subway a few days ago and there were 2 people that stuck out one of them was at the register and veggies and there was a group of football players causing Ruckus and when I went up to the counter one of the workers apologized multiply times and put 2 cookies in my bag and said sorry again for the wait and her coworker I believe was a manager was blasting through the sandwiches and at one point it got loud in there and she told the boys to quiet down witch I thought was hilarious. they both looked overwhelmed but were powering through it I will definitely go back to the lakesite subway. if you want subway and live in the hixson soddy or lakesite area I recommend going there. read more

I went here not too long ago. The food was subpar. The workers gave me rude looks when I walked in the door. After taking the customer's order ahead of me, the worker did not change her gloves before taking my order. This action is unsanitary and with my food allergies the action would have put me in the hospital. Between the workers being mean and unsanitary this place should be shut down. read more

Well, too bad I'm the first reviewer on this place. I will preface with the fact that I've been here before and experienced better. I ran out to grab a couple of sandwiches for myself and the Mrs. It was a Sunday, so I'm sure they were closing earlier than usual, but they were open when I arrived, so I didn't even bother to check the hours. There were two employees. A young man, and a young female with brown hair. I would love to have reported her name, but she wasn't wearing a name tag. To me it was rather obvious why she wasn't. She must have been in a foul mood. Or maybe she got some really disheartening news just before I walked in. I can't say. But I can say one thing-I haven't felt this unwelcome in a restaurant in a VERY long time. I felt like I was in their way of closing-I literally contemplated, saying "You know what? I guess you don't have time to make two sandwiches. I'll see you later." Just to set the scene, No one was in the store. I was the only one there, and the only one in line. After sitting there and waiting a minute (me), she (said sandwich artist) gloved up and asked me what I wanted. Her tone and posture made it clear that I was getting in the way of her closing routine. I gave her my wife's order and it was flatbread. She said white or wheat? I wasn't really sure as my wife never told me which one, I just usually ordered flatbread and there was no option afterwards. So, I hesitantly asked for her opinion. "Which do people usually get?" To which I received a blank stare and silence. Awkward... Even more awkward is that the guy taking out the trash heard me from the back of the restaurant and as he walks out the back, he says "White." I said great, I'll take white. She says "what?" I repeated it. This was the first of many repetitions. I don't know if she had a hearing impairment, or just did it to screw with me, but I really hate repeating myself. It looked like she was thinking about something else. So we get halfway done with the first sandwich and she starts prepping the bread that goes in the oven. And she is really taking her time. I don't mean taking the bread out that is about to bake too long. I mean bread that is going in the oven. I'm like, hello? with my sandwich half made sitting in front of me in a restaurant that is totally empty. I'm the only guy in here!!!! Make my sandwiches and I'll leave! So I wait patiently and she finally finishes leaven duties. So she asks me again what kind of meat, I'm like are you serious? I tell her again and she says, what? I must have looked pissed, because she says, sorry I can't hear. Clearly. Finally we get done after all the repeating and in a sarcastic and flat tone, she pushes my food to me and says have a great day. Holy crap!
