We have never been to a Jersey Mike's since we aren't typically cold meat subs kind of guys. But we read they had some hot subs. So we decided to give it a go for our second meal of the day... or third? Eh. Who is counting? We walked in to see one girl working. Later, another young guy came out from the back. Another stayed in the back room. The employees were very kind and helpful. We were the only ones there, so the girl really focused on us and helped in guiding us. We ordered the original Italian sub "Mike's way". The Italian sub includes provolone cheese, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. It is typically served "Mike's Way" (lettuce, tomato, onions, oil and vinegar, and spices). I ordered without the tomato and onion and we both added jalapeños. It is a cold sub, but she was very kind to put the meat and cheese on the grill as well as the bun and make it a hot sub. We really enjoyed the meal! Tons of meat and so tasty. I DO NOT recommend going to this location. They messed up my order and when I called them to ask for them to make it right the manager raised her voice at me and told me that it was my fault and refused to assist me. I literally couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only that, the whole sandwich paper and sleeve were covered in grease when it got to me. I wish I could give negative stars. I don't care how busy the place is, this manager is clearly in over her head and not good at her job. $20 wasted on something I can't eat. read more

Walked in about 6-8 min before closing time, asked if they were closed to which the girl cleaning the counter rolled her eyes, a guy answered "we close in 6 minutes". Then they just stared at me. Are the subs good? Yes. Maybe a bit overpriced - but they are pretty darn delicious. The one thing I dont care for when I go to any Jersy Mike's location is the amount of time it takes to make ANYTHING. A sub, a salad, a wrap.. they all take forever. I very much appreciate the effort that goes into the sub itself but sometimes it's a little grueling to stand in line for 5 minutes waiting for the workers to clean the slicer and slice the cheese... that's not even including the time it takes to make the rest of the sub. And I'm vegetarian so I cant imagine how long you meat lovers must have to wait for your subs. I would like to point out that they have always been VERY generous with their portions of meat and cheese - something that simply cannot be said for the vast majority of restaurants out there. But other than that this is your typical fast food joint ~ the workers always seem a bit unhappy - though at least they are pleasant (unlike some locations I've been to), the dining area is very cut and dry, and the whole experience is really quite impersonal. I love Jersey Mike's, anywhere I go, it's my go-to sub to grab on the go. I've noticed at this location that the individual at the register, after my sandwich is prepped, with their money gloved hands will grab the knife, cut the sandwich and wrap it. I'm confused as to why the individual prepping the sub can't cut and wrap my sandwich. I feel this is a genuine sanitary issue. I'm sure this can't be the standard or Mike's way... please fix this gross habit. read more

I liked how I could order online. I ordered ten sandwiches for my employees today and was told I could pick them up in ten minutes. I didn't want to put the employees out too much so I quickly called and told them I wouldn't be picking them up for another 45 minutes as I didn't want to rush them. The lady immediately saw my order and agreed to do that. That might have been a mistake because the bread was a little soggy when we got them. Still good though. I grew up in NJ and one of my favorite things was going to get a ham and cheese sandwich. I never realized that NJ subs were different than any other subs around the country. Well, except that my parents were from New Orleans so I did realize the difference and awesomeness with Po Boys. I would highly recommend this location over any of the other Chattanooga locations (especially ooltewah) they help me get in and out for my lunch break quickly a few times a week and the food quality never lacks. 10/10 read more

I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the cold sub that I bought. The meat and cheese is sliced so thinly that there is really hardly any on the sandwich. The sandwich is mostly bread. I was intrigued the vinegar and oil and special seasonings, but they put so little on my sandwich that I couldn't really taste it. There's no way this sandwich is worth even half the money that I paid for it. Also one of the employees was in a sour mood or something and was not very polite. I will not be returning. read more

If you want a great sandwich, this is the place to go!!! Service and food are always great and consistent! Jersey Mike's slices their deli meat to order which ensures that is fresher than some other sandwich shops. They have white and wheat bread and both taste fresh and delicious! Toppings include, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, banana peppers, jalapeños, oregano, salt, oil, vinegar, and a red pepper relish. They do have kids meals (sandwich, cookie, and drink) for $4.95 and regular and giant subs very by price. Grilled subs and wraps are also an option. For a side you can pick from chips or cookies. I have been to this specific location several times and the staff is always fast, consistent, and courteous. They always greet us when we walk in and say thank you when we leave. They never rush you when you're trying to decide what you want to order. The staff does a great job keeping this establishment clean including the bathrooms. Despite the great food and nice staff I am not giving this place 5 stars because of a staff member. Out of all the times we've been here we have never seen this guy so I'm assuming he is new(er). He was stocking chips and the manager went to correct him. He was putting new chips in front of old ones which does not follow FIFO (first in first out) rules for food establishments. Even after the manager corrected him he continued to put the new chips in front of the old ones and told the manager he wasn't going to follow FIFO rules. Second thing I noticed about this individual was the fact he stocked the chips with gloves then went back behind the counter, wrapped someone's sandwich, then went to finish stocking chips. THIS IS DISGUSTING AND THIS GUY WILL GET SOMEONE SICK by not changing his gloves. I asked one of the other staff member about him and he said he just came back after having surgery and he was in fact "newer than the rest of us." He needs to be taught proper FIFO and glove changing... Maybe he just needs to retake the food handlers safety class. I do hope someone takes serious action before someone gets sick. read more

I arrived at the store at 8.35 ordered one sandwich and a drink which was very good while I was eating several more customers came initially was near their closing time. They got their order to go. Then they left I think the guy working thought everybody had left the store but I was still there. He started cussing with foul language because it messed up clean-up. I ordered the Original Italian. Sandwich was excellent. They cut your meat fresh and the bread was very good in terms of texture and flavor. Heads above Subway. My only complaint is they have a very small selection of toppings but for a hoagie, the only thing that I would have added would have been red onion instead of white. The employees were very polite as well. My fiance got the Philly Cheese-steak and she enjoyed it. My children ordered the meatball and a mini Original Italian and they both loved their choices. My husband and I have been enjoying the subs here since the day they opened. What I like about this Jersey Mikes is that they are consistently good. We have never once had any issues or problems with any order. We actually eat here about 2-3 times per month. The place is always so clean and in my opinion it's the best sub place in town. Their point system is great. We had free subs in no time!! If you sign up on their website then they send you a coupon on your birthday for a free regular sub and drink. I tried Jersey Mike's for the first time this afternoon. I love subs and have had them all over this country. I expect a professional sub. I was disappointed. I was asked if I wanted a 3 1/2, 5 inch, or 15 in sub. Who goes into a serious sub shop and orders a 3 inch sub? They don't have a way of melting cheese on their subs because they have no toaster. The assembler of my sub was robotic and didn't make eye contact at all, or even raise her head. I felt like I was a bother. Toppings extremely limited. Publix has better subs for a lot less money. Jersey Mike's is my go to sub shop. When I get into a new town I always start my food search with a goof sandwich shops. Seeing a Jersey Mike's I know I can eat a decent sub at least. The reason I like Jersey mike's over all others is the bread. They bake it in house and I know that the bread is par baked in a giant warehouse somewhere in Jersey. Then it's finished in the stores fresh everyday. There is truly something to do with the water in NYC n Jersey that gives the bread a certain flavor. That is the main factor that I go to Jersey Mike's. Then the meat is sliced fresh right in front of you and then clumped on the bread and not layed flat. Yes stupid maybe but it matters to let air in between meats. It makes the flavors layer more in your mouth then a bunch of laid out meats. In all this is a great place and my membership card works in their machine. One of the only ones that does work the folks working in the store tell me. But I met the owner of Jeresy's At a store in Jax, Fl and he personally gave it to me one an it still works. So I'm happy in a new town and I find a Jersey Mike's read more
