Went to subway on 7/26. Every weekday we stop by to get a 12" subway. The ladies working there are so amazing, very nice, and friendly. I have a 3 year old and a 4 year old they love to talk to the ladies there. Everything there is amazing except for today we went there and omg it was so hot, the AC was not working. My daughters were sweating and they were so hot. I could not believe that the manager from that place have these amazing people working under this conditions. That's my only complaint. Unfortunately I had to pick a star. Or I would never! Order thru the app and my entire order was wrong. When clearly stated on the receipt what I had ordered. Called the store and when I told them my order was wrong. She hung up on me. Unnecessary where is customer service. I asked for manger and she told me Sunday. Employees are badly trained. They refused to give me what I paid for online. They tried to give me the cheaper item when on the recipe, it says what I paid for. Basically they stole my money cuz I did not walk out with my purchased food items. Even worse I went online to let subway know what was going on and they ignored me even after I filed my complaint. Fucking HORRIBLE! I promise you I will never order from this Subway EVER AGAIN. First, there's only one lady behind the counter and she's so into her phone that she doesn't hear us come in or grab chips. It took a good minute before she looked up from her phone and saw us standing there. Second, there's only was only ONE other person in line who seemed to not be in any rush, but boy was this lady in a rush. Started with my sandwich, then asked my dad what he wanted. Began putting the meats on both sandwiches. Once done, she put my sandwich in the oven. Then proceeded to put the veggies on the other two sandwiches. All while the oven was beeping. It wasn't till the 4th reminder that she finally took my sandwich out BURNT. Third, after my dad let her know I didn't want the sandwich, she said nothing. Didn't offer to make a new one. Didn't say sorry. Didn't ask why. Just rang my dad up and threw my sandwich away. Like, WTF!?? As an employee, I would think she'd rather make great sandwiches and let others wait a few minutes. Worst subway witching 30 miles, and there are tons of subways in the east bay . Today is there second time, and the attitude of the servers is horrible, they make you feel like you're not paying for the food and that you're in a jail. It's horrible, I don't know how they are still in business. This is what happens when a name is sold out as a franchise and some owners decide to throw the name into the dumpster. it's always a bad experience. The sandwiches are not made correctly, they are super stingy when they add ingredients , specially the meat. It's a miserable things to do, to charge so much for so little: Cons: they won't honor coupons, they are rude and thinks it's ok to do so, they treat you like a convict in a jail. Today I paid $13 for a freaking sandwich, a plain A$$ meat lacking sandwich. All I really got was bread and lettuce. Preferred sandwiches online here to take to a park for a picnic. This was the first subway along our route to the park that accepted an online coupon for a buy one foot long, get one free. Firstly, the online ordering system has a last name field that requires a minimum of three letters. My last name is only two letters long, so this caused some confusion. I had to put in a wrong name in order to put in the order at all. Second, one of the two sandwiches ordered was missing several ingredients, which basically resulted in a sandwich containing chicken swimming in ranch dressing (ignoring the "light on sauce" instruction too) on plain bread, nothing else, and was really quite disgusting. Thirdly, the second sandwich ordered, though made according to instruction, did not taste very good. The chicken was rubbery but also overly soft, it seemed barely toasted at all, and even with extra cucumbers there weren't many. I occasionally go to subway over quiznos because they have more vegetable options, so for them to skimp so much on the vegetables makes me wonder why I bother any more. Maybe it's my own fault for ordering something other than the one thing I've enjoyed at subway in the past (tuna on rosemary bread) but I just had one of those last week from a different location and felt like trying something new. Do not order online from this location!! The employees don't know how to read the comments such as Please Cut in Half, or Do not Toast. They also don't pay attention to what you do and don't want on your sandwich. They will put whatever they want on the sandwich. I've gone to this subway maybe two or three times since moving to Union City. You see, I'm not a huge sandwich fan, but more importantly, for me to like a sandwich and crave it, it has to be made to perfection! But when I've gone to this Subway, that wasn't the case. One time when I went, the man working there seemed so miserable. I don't know if he is working there because it's a family business or something, but it was obvious he wasn't worried about losing his job. He spoke very softly, difficult to hear, and then was really odd and slow with everything. It's hard to explain, but the guy behind me in line got pretty fed up with him and was almost raising his voice when telling him the order. I didn't really blame him because I felt a little frustrated with him as well. The sandwich that time was just "okay." There's just a certain way people make it, I don't know if it's with the way they put the ingredients in, or the freshness of the bread, but sometimes it's perfection and sometimes it's just "bleh." Anyway, I went another time and the experience was definitely better. It was a lady working and she seemed personally invested in making sure we were satisfied, so I don't know if she is the owner or part of the family that owns it, possibly? One thing that did kind of rub me the wrong way was they charge you 10 cents for those really cheap, paper, skinny and long bags they put the sandwiches in!! I only caught it because there was some confusion with the order and I was checking the receipt because of that. I know that now a days California is charging for bags at stores and whatnot, but usually they will ask you first because charging you! This place will give you the bag, just like any other Subway, not asking, "would you like a bag?" first and then charge you for it! I was so shocked. I don't think other places do that. For example, the sandwich place I like the most in Quiznos, and they never charge you for their bags. At the end of the day, not super impressed with this Subway, and there are many others around, that if I felt like Subway, I might try a different location to see if the experience is any better. read more

I forget to check in sometimes, but I come here pretty frequently because it's on my commute home. You may be wondering, 5 stars for a subway? Porque? Subway is subway, other than degree of freshness every now and then you get what you expect almost every time. However, I must say that this is the best one I've been to thus far. The employees are super nice and make your sandwiches fast and efficiently. Even if the line is long around lunch or in the evening, it goes by pretty quickly. Subway is my sandwich chain of choice when I'm in a hurry, and I've never been to one with such great employees and service. It actually took me by surprise, I thought perhaps it was just the first couple times I came in, but it's every [darn] time. The place is always clean and tidy too, and there's always a decent amount of parking since it's a huge complex. Worst Subway experience EVER!!! Came here for a quick bite and wanted to keep it low carb but didn't want a salad. So I asked for the Philly cheesesteak in a bowl and apparently that would be a salad and they would need to charge me $2 more for it. I said I didn't want a salad, just the sandwhich filling and the two idiot female employees looked at each other and rolled their eyes to one another. They pretty much told me it's a sandwhich or a salad. Long story short, inleft without ordering anything because they were extremely rude. They obviously don't know what customer service is and they have no clue on how to personalize it. I was in here with my family for a whole hour snd as soon as we leave my two year old need to use the bathroom so I go from the parking lot back into the restaurant and the girl behind the counter says the bathroom is broken. AS I WALK OUT, I hear her say to another costumer that the restroom is for customers only. This Subway is in Fairway Park shopping center. I like it because it's clean and the service is fast when it's busy at lunch time. A major plus that they have spinach to put on my sandwich instead of always having iceburg lettuce. If you ask for extras of a topping they gladly add more. read more

I love how conveniently located this Subway is it's right in the shopping center so when I take my daughter shopping I can just grab us some lunch or dinner and go. What I like most about this Subway is there spinach is never old and withered like other Subway's that I have been to. I mean it's Subway, there are essentially no rules. You can literally have it your way (if all the ingredients you want are available... which at this location it usually is.) I love this location because even when they're busy, they still move pretty fast. I'm never in there for more than 10mins unless they're dealing with a difficult customer but even then, the service is fast and great. It's my best option for when I want to eat something before work when I'm already running late. read more

Sent my husband in w/a written list of sandwiches my family wanted. 1st thing they only had 1 footlong white bread, 0 of sour dough bread, & 0 avocado but had guacamole instead (not the same) we needed 3 white foot long breads, 1sour dough & 1-sandwiches needed avocado on a veggie sandwich. On my list I wanted a white footlong turkey breast sandwich which consist of turkey COLD cut meat, the person making the sandwich made a oven roasted CHICKEN sandwich. It was suppose to be a cold not heated sandwich & I got charged on my receipt for a Turkey sub. I will not eat at this Subway ever again due to an incompetent employee who can't make a sandwich the way a person wants it. This isn't the 1st time my order has been wrong nor the 2nd, so 3 strikes & your OUT!!! Why can't you go to grocery outlet & at least buy avocado for your sandwiches?
