The number of times our order's been wrong, things have been missing, and stupidity has happened (no utensils for a salad, no napkins in the bag, etc.) are countless. Literally countless. It's also the slowest CFA in the nation. I'm not sure what goes wrong here but last Thursday night, we spent a half-hour in the drive-thru line. A. Half. Hour. At the restaurant known for its efficiency--and this wasn't an unusual experience here. It's insanity. Top it off with sullen employees and a real lack of the baseline, flagship CFA service, and one wonders how this franchisee holds onto his flag. Two stars for the food itself which is standard CFA, but it's a sad state of affairs in Hagerstown. I'd love to see it improve but after years of nonsense here, I'm not hopeful.

After settling into our seats I ended up having to get back up because that's when our food was ready. The staff working that day were very busy and running around to complete orders and make sure that they restaurants was running smoothly. They kept apologizing for how slow the service was, spoiler alert, the service wasn't slow and it was nearly impeccable. They were short staffed, only three of them working and they worked as a team. They kept churning out the orders to make sure that the wait wasn't long and tag teamed the counter and drive thru at the same time. I commend you all that were working that day, you held it together. As for the food. I found it to be what I have come to expect from the chain. My Dad, however, raved for the remainder of the day, days to come, as well as weeks. He gushed over that it was the best burger he has had in a long time. I just had to roll my eyes a bit. Not everyone has tastebuds like my Dad. In this area, if you want a decently quick, on par meal, this could be your best choice. In the sea of choices for fast food chains, this is about the closest to the highway exit if you don't want to go far.

I always order and unwich and this seems to be the only jjs location i've ordered from that consistently wraps it well, only a few times have i had some bald spots in my lettuce wrap, lol. The guys that work here always make conversation when possible and can crack jokes or have a lighthearted interaction with me, rather than the typical stoic and bland drive thru experience.
