friendly, fast help. Clean. Usually no wait. Good location. Good food. PROTIP - Don't ask about Jared. read more

These new owners are nasty and unwilling to unwrap a sandwich I paid extra to get delivered through DoorDash that should have been toasted in the first place. She said she "already made the sandwich" and could not toast it. We all know that is just plain laziness. Then she hung up on me. I will never get food from these owners again. Corporate should remove these owners' policies incenses and revoke them because they don't know anything about customer service and won't even unwrap a sandwich, toast it, and wrap it again. Then they hang up on you. Not to mention when they just took over they had nothing in stock and the husband was working while the wife was sitting at a table with her legs crossed talking to people with no care for the line getting bigger. What type of people are subway corporate allowing to represent them as a company? These two are a disgrace to customer service and should be gone. Get owners that know that serving their customers is what is the most important thing. DoorDash refunded me so there will be no charge. They won't see a dime from me again. I'll drive out of town before ever going there or ordering from there again. I advise you do the same. read more

I am genuinely confused by previous negative reviews because I have nothing but positive things to say about this Subway location. The ingredients are always fresh, and my sandwich is always made as I ordered both in-person and online. The staff is always polite and attentive. And the store itself is clean and neat. Again, my experience has been unlike those of previous reviewers. I highly recommend this location. read more

This place is disgusting!!! The health department needs to come in and do an inspection on this establishment . They have small roaches and gnats. The worker was making one of my sandwiches and I witnessed a roach crawl on to the outside of the bread.. when I noticed it she tried to deny it , and said 'no you did not see that' while trying to move it away with her hand. She then had the audacity to get upset. read more

0 STARS. I can tell a complete MORON made my sandwich. I ordered a tuna sub on uber eats. First the sandwich was not toasted, which is DISGUSTING!!! There were also Ingredients missing from my sandwich. If they ran out of the ingredients, which i doubt, they should have that reflected on the uber app. Not only that the bread was incomplete on my sub. Reported them to uber immediately and got a full refund. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. read more

Overcharged, workers don't know how to make a sandwich that is a staple of the menu since Jared. Need to find another subway close by and/or go to LV and/or million dollar deli. read more

EWW ! HOW UNAPPETIZING Every time I have ordered a sub to go at this location, the bottom of my sub (bread) is soaking wet. Why is that? read more

I know its ONLY subway...but when I am genuinely greeted with a friendly hello and a smile, it really makes a difference. The people who work here are so nice, service is fast, and I am always receiving coupons either in the mail or behind my receipts at stop & shop. The guy ringing me up helped me use the coupon that would save me the most $$. aaaand, the guy also put 1/2 of my sandwich to go so It was all nice and wrapped up for lunch the next day. The place was also extremely clean...no crumbs on the tables and the floors were being mopped while I was there. I got the Italian BMT with turkey instead of ham, with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, provolone cheese melted on the honey oat bread, with a little bit of sweet onion dressing. DELISH!! 10 bucks for dinner for 2, 1 bag of chips, 1 big drink PLUSlunch the day. score. read more

To preface: I've worked at two different Subways. For years I worked at the Subway in Sea Cliff before they changed managers, and also one up in Albany, so I know how Subway sandwiches should be made, etc. So I decided to order a sandwich for lunch so I could pick it up and go back to work to eat it. I knew it was coming up on their lunch rush, as I called at around noon, but I thought it wouldn't be too bad. So I call up and this woman answers. She was very brusque and it was difficult to hear her. I give her my order and she seemingly is only repeating certain words that I said. After telling her my complete order, I asked if she could repeat the order for me. There was silence, and then she hung up. I was a little annoyed. I understood it was a busy time for them but the least she could have done was repeat the order to make sure she got everything right, you know? So I get there, wait a bit, and then mention that I had called in an order. A woman realizes and she has the sandwich right there, so I pay for it and leave to get back to work. I probably SHOULD have checked it in the store but it was just so busy I didn't want to be a nuisance, you know? So I get back to work, and lo' and behold, my sandwich was wrong. So this was my order: Foot long italian herb and cheese bread, egg, ham, turkey, bacon, provolone cheese, toasted with lettuce, spinach, banana peppers, black pepper, oregano, chipotle dressing and ketchup. They forgot the ham, cheese, black pepper, and oregano. Maybe to you guys it isn't a big deal, but it certainly was to me. The lack of respect they had for taking my order really bothered me. I'll probably go there again, because I like that store more than the Sea Cliff one, but I'm DEFINITELY not ordering over the phone anymore. read more

The taste was actually better than most other subways. But my problem was the service. I asked for the two dollar meatball sub (there's an offer) and the middle aged Indian lady acted like she was doing me a favor. I asked for extra olives and she's like this is only 2 dollars and kept giving me a very disrespectful attitude when I was only saying please and thank you. So I can take it with tomatoes onions cucumbers and a bunch of other stuff, but not an extra two olives (I only added olives and lettuce btw)? You can choose not to participate in an offer, but not get pissed and treat a costumer like a d*** for ordering it. And this is why I'm never going again. But I must admit the meatball sub was better than most of the other restaurants (I went to like 5 this month), and the service the worst I've encountered in 2 years in New York. read more

The the food was good but the customer service wasn't. The employee helping me was sort of rude and didn't ask my friend if she wanted her sandwich toasted or not. Plus my friend was not satisfied because it was toasted. I am writing this review because if I had a parent with me they would have taken us more seriously. read more

On June 13th 2020 I entered in to subway Restaurant #46726 located at 217 Forest Ave, Glen Cove NY in the Stop and Shop center. Upon entering the store I was accosted by a Subway employee who stated I must wear a facemask when in the store. I politely stated I was medically unable to tolerate a facemask therefore could not due so. The employee who I believe to be a manager stated she would not serve me and I was to leave the store immediately. I brought to her attention that New York State Executive order 202.34 stated in part that store policies of enforcing Executive Order 202.17 "shall be in a manner consistent with the American with Disabilities Act or any provision of either New York State or New York City Human Rights Law, or any other provision of law". In return she was openly discriminating against a person with disabilities. At a minimum she could have offered to take my order and bring it curbside, instead she did not offer any other accommodations. I find it disturbing that an establishment can openly violate New York State Legislative law, and openly discriminate against a person(s) with disabilities without remorse. I am not one to take legal action against an establishment, but when communication fails with a said establishment what other course can one take to rectify the problem while protecting my rights and the rights of others who have disabilities too? read more

I came here trying to take the M Train to my apartment but wound up getting a sandwich. The bathroom said out of order but the sandwich man let me use the bathroom anyway and a stranger gave me a mint while inside. I like to touch my toes while my sandwich roasts and the cheese melts and the chips were not very crushed I will go back here again. Plus the lady asked how my day was and I said it was night time. read more

it's subway folks so don't bitch and moan . this subway in glen cove on forest ave is my go to place when my niece and her school buddies want a quick bite. i prefer the cookies when they come right out of the portable oven and the apple pies are better then most other fast food joints . the usual subway interior layout with some tables to sit and a self servicing soda machine with only about 5 choices. it's not grade a cold cuts like boar head but sometimes it will do . i usually order a foot long tuna on flat bread or a veggie delite and it's that simple. i do miss the 5 bucks for any foot long but a 6inch for 3,50 ain't bad as long as the workers behind the counter are not cheap with the lettuce and tomatoes and other toppings.this location has plenty of teenagers from the local high school so i avoid it during the weekdays cause it brings back my high school days when we would go out for lunch and not return to class . that's enough rambling on my part , it's subway so eat fresh and avoid mr fogel the pervert . read more

This is an update.......they are loosing stars here quickly. They can come back if they want......but I think they have given up???? I think this place is crashing or having money problems ???? The sandwiches are getting significantly smaller/thinner and they are obviously getting cheap with the dressings and toppings. It seems they have an issue really making a sandwich the way the customer wants regardless what their website might state. I refuse to have to beg to get a normal or decent amount of lettuce, spinach or onions on my sandwich. They also seem bothered when you get to the point of asking for pepper, oregano or specific types and amounts of salad dressings, etc.. To a "Sandwich Guy/Girl" this is real important stuff and should also be important to the entire Subway concept - they are loosing grasp of this. They also no longer make fresh coffee at this location ever and use a 'Keurig" machine during all shifts breakfast/lunch/dinner which is no replacement for the real thing in my book and another reason I probably won't be returning here or most any other Subways. You're loosing me ...... feels like I am loosing another lover.....yikes.....I need a life or a better Fast-Food nosh.....doesn't matter that you are a repeat customer either which is a another real concern ? The owner should be real concerned at this point unless they have just given up....where is Chef Ramsay when you need him !?!?! read more
