Today was a disappointing experience with a local Pizza Palace restaurant in Fostoria…read more Our lunch order was prepared incorrectly due to an error on their end. When we called to have the mistake corrected, we were told the incorrect pizzas had to be returned before they would replace them. By the time the correct order arrived, our lunch break was already over. We politely asked if the replacement order could simply be delivered the following day since we no longer had time to eat, but the request was refused without any attempt to make the situation right. Mistakes happen--we all understand that. What separates great businesses from the rest is how they respond when those mistakes occur. In this case, the error was not the customer's, yet the inconvenience and lost lunch fell entirely on us. A small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way in showing that customer satisfaction matters. Because of how this situation was handled, our workplace has decided we will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. This isn't about the pizza itself--it's about customer service, accountability, and treating customers fairly when a business makes a mistake. Hopefully this serves as a reminder that taking care of your customers is always worth more than the cost of one pizza.

Fostoria Dells got the highest number of stars, so I decided to try it out. This is a little diner that's obviously a place where the townspeople go. It seemed everyone was a regular. I ordered a brisket sandwich that came with fries. I found the service to be a little slow, but man, I think that was the best brisket I've ever had! It was too messy to pick up and eat, so I used a fork and knife. I was actually satisfied with just half, but I ended up eating the whole thing! If you're in the area, definitely give it a try.

Needless to say I ordered from Red's based purely off the pics from Google and it didn't disappoint! Delivery was fast and my order was made correctly and piping hot. But omg can we talk about the cheese?! The cheesy goodness of a pie was layered with the standard pepperoni and mushrooms and then a giant fistful of cheese. If you're a cheese lover like me there is no such thing as too much cheese! My only suggestion is to add some flavoring ro the crust. Itvwas bland and mot super crunchy.
