We politely asked if the replacement order could simply be delivered the following day since we no longer had time to eat, but the request was refused without any attempt to make the situation right. Mistakes happen--we all understand that. What separates great businesses from the rest is how they respond when those mistakes occur. In this case, the error was not the customer's, yet the inconvenience and lost lunch fell entirely on us. A small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way in showing that customer satisfaction matters. Because of how this situation was handled, our workplace has decided we will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. This isn't about the pizza itself--it's about customer service, accountability, and treating customers fairly when a business makes a mistake.
