Oops, couldn't help but hear Trey Songz singing in my head as I was standing in the Subway line inside Forney's Wal-Mart. First of all, I was excited to see a Subway inside Wal-Mart instead of the usual McDonalds (healthier options, yay). The workers are extreeeeemely slow, though. I was antsy as I was running late for a wedding ceremony in Uptown Dallas but badly needed food before it started, so naturally I was dying as the worker slowly sliced the bread in half, slowly opened it, slowly put my roast beef on the sandwich, and extra slowly gave my sandwich to the next worker who super slowly added my tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, and light mayo. I was breaking out in sweat as my sandwich was handed off to the cashier who processed my credit card. Good news...I made it to the wedding ceremony one minute before it started. I was tempted to give this place 1 star but I added an extra star because of the customer service. Despite them being super slow, they were really nice. They were putting the sandwich together slowly to make sure the sandwich was made perfectly. No sloppy work here meaning no meat and lettuce fell out as I was devouring it on my way to the Dallas. The workers had that good ol' Southern hospitality with not much sense of time and urgency because everything is just so hunky dory in Forney, TX. :) read more

Please don't come here! The location may be convenient but just take your money elsewhere. The workers and when I say workers I mean all of them need to be retrained or let go. None of the look like they want to be there first of all. Then you have the one with the pink braids making her own food while there's a whole line like huh!?? And it's the preparation of the food for me. Subway do better with your employees... looks like management doesn't even care ugh ! And the guy that ended up using his hands to put the onions and lettuces back in the container to serve others is disgusting. I honestly didn't even want my food anymore. Some of the female servers are so rude and are not welcoming to customers. The store was clean but behind the counter was not. The area that holds the food and where they work on the sandwiches was just really gross. I do like Subway but I will not be going back to this store. read more

I walking in and as I look up at the menu the worker tells me we only except Apple Pay, cash , or EBT. I respond with "you do t take debit cards" she flat out says nope. How the french do you take ebt but not debit. This was a joke. Will never go back sounds like the workers are scamming pocketing the cash etc. read more

food is never closed there's gnats everywhere even in the drink dispenser the manger are rude and disrespectful and tries to put people out just for sitting even if you do purchase something I definitely WOULD NOT recommend they are very unprofessional read more

They were doing ok until the worker took my sandwich out of the toaster and then, with her gloves on, started digging around looking for the Subway stickers that they put on the sandwich when they are completed. After digging around and touching who knows what, she continued making my sandwich. With the same pair of gloves on. Not even thinking about changing them after touching things other than food. I went in the subway that is in the Forny Walmart Just reopened and was wanting a good sub sandwich. I didn't get a good sandwich at all it was more like everything was old even the vegetables were very old looking and nasty. The workers talking very loud and didn't care that people were waiting to get a sandwich. I asked the girl who was finishing up my sandwich when was the last time she changed her gloves and Boy O Boy did I get the go F yourself look. Worst subway I've ever been to. Zero customer service and run by young teenagers who are too busy eating, drinking, and on their phones to give a damn. I stood for 2 minutes looking at the girl...she said nothing to me. No can I help you? Nothing. I had even asked a question. God gracious what is wrong with this generation! I worked fast food for 3 years in high school and that is where I learned sooo much. The veggies are not fresh and nothing is stocked. Like seriously don't waste your time or money. This place is so gross and run by teenagers who don't appear to care much about their jobs. It is dirty, food looks like it has been out too long, dirty dishes are piled up, and there are flies and gnats everywhere. On top of that, they only accept cash which is ridiculous as it is the year 2018. Overall, I could not have been more frustrated with my experience and hope to never be back. read more

I ordered a foot long, steak and cheese on flatbread. I order that at every subway I visit. The employee at this store, Brenda, offered to do something no one has ever done and it made my sandwich DELICIOUS! She asked me if I wanted onions and peppers on my sandwich BEFORE it was toasted! My last 2 visits here were disasters. The place is a dump with flys buzzing around the food. The high school kids who worked this night would rather have been anywhere else and told another customer that they didn't know how to make a particular sandwich and that she had to order something else. Just came in and ordered a sandwich for myself, and my sister ordered a gluten free sub. The store was under-staffed as one of the employees had a family emergency. The remaining employee, Bobby, was very upbeat and apologetic about the wait, even though he was obviously overwhelmed. He is also the only employee we've ran into here that actually knew had to properly do a gluten free sandwich. TL;DR. Bobby is a great employee, even under a bit of pressure. read more
