Almost every time people just walk by the window and I have to beep to get their attention. Most time the workers are just chatting with each other or on their phones. The orders have consistently been wrong, ranging from forgetting a side of salsa to completely wrong meals (no protein, wrong protein, burrito instead of tacos, etc.) Reaching out to customer service gets you a 'reward' but not a refund so you can at least get the next incorrect item for free.

I had placed many online orders for pick-up on my 30min lunch break, to ensure I had proper time to drive to, pick up my food, and quickly drive back from the restaurant. After a few pick-ups took around 20mins after promised time, I was pretty upset. I was told they only start making food once the person is there to pick it up, so I asked what's the point of placing an order online and receiving a pick-up time, when the food only starts to get made once you're at the restaurant to pick up? That's when the owner stepped in (My family and I have had many pleasant convos with him before at the old location), turned red, bunched up his face, and legit yelled at me "What do you expect? Do you want your fries to be cold or do you want them fresh?" (I was taken aback, and responded "I expect my order to be ready at the time indicated"). He told me I could go elsewhere. I get it. I was receiving consistently poor service and was upset when I asked the cashier about timing, so he stepped in to defend his worker. What I don't get is how you can tell a customer to go somewhere else when they're expecting their food at the time promised (or at least within 5 mins...I'm not THAT picky). I found out today that I can't park on the north side of the building, as one side of the lot is reserved for drive-up pick-up, and the other side is now reserved for the 4 two-car EV charging stations. What I can tell you about Cane's is that it is always fresh and consistent! Always made fresh to order so your food is always hot and it will taste always the same! The only item I've had that isn't consistent at times is the sweet tea but this location gets this Bama Boy's Seal of approval for sweet tea. Now consistency can work both ways because either you love it or hate it. I am a Caniac so I love every moment of it. The fingers are marinated over night and match perfectly with the tangy Cane's sauce. Crinkle cut fries are not my favorite type of fry but Cane's uses the best potatoes. The toast is a work of art and the slaw is pretty creamy. Also if you join the Caniac club, you get free food at different times during the year. Fresh and consistent is the name of the game at Cane's.
