As you can see on my receipt I ordered a strawberry lemonade smoothie but was given a strawberry banana smoothie!! My sliders were undercooked and visibly red. cheese fries were undercooked with a strong potato flavor. At this point I don't even know why I still come here!! ‍

A vegan reviewing White Castle! OMG the world is topsy turvey but in a good way. I have to say I previously tried the veggie burger with the different sauces but was skeptical about the ingredients and preparation process. I am sure it was not vegan, more plant based or even vegetarian. Now they have the mini Impossible Burgers for 1.99 each vs a White Castle burger at .77. From what I understand it's not vegan it's "plant based" the difference being it is all made of non-animal products including the bun and the onions are made on a separate grill with the Impossible burger but there is some ingredient in the Impossible Burger that was tested on animals so it can not be called vegan. It's all about how deep you go on the vegan definition spectrum. Anyway.. had it, late night after a few cocktails on the Irish Mile, (had to get the full experience!), did not taste like a whitey one bite as I recall, tasted like a mini burger! Which is totally fine and all good for me. It was moist and yummy and just what the doctor DID NOT order! There was a little confusion with the order at the takeout window but that is to be expected with something totally new with a new process and all. Us vegans are patient considering it's all great news to see advancement in the life style. Just make sure you say no cheese and you need to ask for ketchup and mustard. Extra pickles would be good too! Whether you are plant based or vegan it's another option. It just goes to show the world is changing in some ways for the better. This is one of them. Maybe more people will convert to being vegan as it gets easier. Then we just have to get price parity for it to really take off. Thanks Impossible Burger and White Castle!

Came here because I saw the commercial on tv. I got a carry out. Got burgers, fries, and onion…read morerings. The burgers are ok. A good ok. I think they mix a lot of ingredients so much that you can't taste the actual burger. A bit too much. It tastes like a burger you would make at home. Still good, don't get me wrong. The fries are good and the onion rings are top notch!!! I would actually go here for onion rings. I would like to go back to try other things on the menu.

We were craving authentic diner food and tired of preformed burgers and seriously processed meats…read moreso we tried Top Notch Beef Burgers on the recommendation of a friend. She ordered a Corned Beef Sandwich on rye bread served cold, with jalapeño jack cheese on the side and mustard. The corned beef was flavorful and tender, and the cold preparation worked perfectly. Simple but satisfying, although they put the cheese on the sandwich. The ¼ lb Beef Burger Deluxe came with fries, raw onion, lettuce, tomato, and pickles--upon request no mayo--on a regular, non-toasted bun, as requested. The burger was juicy and cooked well, and the fresh toppings added a nice crunch. The fries were golden and crisp. This was a great classic combo. For drinks, we tried three large 24oz milkshakes--banana, Oreo, and vanilla. Each was thick, creamy, and rich in flavor. The banana stood out for me! Overall, it lived up to its name--Too Notch burgers--good quality food, generous portions, and great flavor across the board.

First time I came in got southwestern chicken soup. Spicy without being overwhelmingly hot. Lot better than progreessos version of the soup. And a grilled cheese that came with fries. Grilled cheese is an outstanding sandwich one that I don't eat as much since I'm not a kid anymore but it felt all warm, gooey brought back childhood memories. Second time I came got jerk chicken salad. Flavorful, zesty. The jerk chicken didn't have the taste from like an actual jerk place but I liked it. I got the Maplewood fat pug for a beverage. It also looks like they sell beer to go.

Food is fantastic. Price is high. Service from Nick (owner) was TERRIBLE…read more I was a long-time (20+ yr), loyal customer up til I was yelled at by Nick because I spoke up about consistently receiving orders much later than promised via online orders. I had placed many online orders for pick-up on my 30min lunch break, to ensure I had proper time to drive to, pick up my food, and quickly drive back from the restaurant. After a few pick-ups took around 20mins after promised time, I was pretty upset. I was told they only start making food once the person is there to pick it up, so I asked what's the point of placing an order online and receiving a pick-up time, when the food only starts to get made once you're at the restaurant to pick up? That's when the owner stepped in (My family and I have had many pleasant convos with him before at the old location), turned red, bunched up his face, and legit yelled at me "What do you expect? Do you want your fries to be cold or do you want them fresh?" (I was taken aback, and responded "I expect my order to be ready at the time indicated"). He told me I could go elsewhere. I get it. I was receiving consistently poor service and was upset when I asked the cashier about timing, so he stepped in to defend his worker. What I don't get is how you can tell a customer to go somewhere else when they're expecting their food at the time promised (or at least within 5 mins...I'm not THAT picky). Perhaps my expectations are too high?

We ordered wonder burgers, curly q fries, and chocolate shakes. The burgers were okay. We had ordered them as doubles but got single patties. I'm the only black person in the bar he made me feel very uncomfortable and I feel that this is racially motivated. He didn't treat the other people like this at all, he catered to them and was pleasant. I believe that something was wrong with my drink and I don't trust this place, I have never been to a bar and got this sick before and the bartender gets angry that I point out that something is wrong. I will go to the hospital if I feel any worse. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE The drink was $12, the kind of treatment is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! EDIT: immediately after posting my review I received a direct message , saying that im only here to get a free drink and they see people like me all of the time (hmmm I wonder what that means) When I was actually looking for a bar to frequent and have a good time. I actually told my server that I was there for several drinks tonight. However, after my interaction and the message I received I am now POSITIVE that the bartender is racist and had someone message me to attack me.

The bar area looks cool and huge tvs to watch sports too. We were greeted by wonderful ladies and we got seated right away. Our waitress Blanca was FANTASTIC! The food was decent (I enjoyed the burger & queso, but the pretzel bites, fries and beignets were…read morejust alright). However, the service was some of the worst service I have ever had. We came in and waited to be greeted by the hostess. Maybe 10 minutes passed and 2-3 other groups also came in before we saw the hostess and she had the sourest attitude I've seen that wasn't a snotty teenager arguing with their mom. The tables were so close together and booths tight that multiple groups had to adjust chairs or add chairs to a booth to be able to fit their group of 4 comfortably. Tables were left dirty & covered with dishes - two tables we're left uncleared for the entire 2+ hours we were there until the hostess with the horrific attitude cleared one glass at a time with a truly horrible look on her face. At one point when the hostess was walking back to the front from the kitchen, a young child (maybe 3-4) was politely walking to her table and the hostess said something to the effect of "get out of my way" - to a toddler, behaving perfectly reasonably and the hostess wasn't even carrying anything that might topple over. Our waitress was not much better than the hostess. While she was mostly pleasant, after 45 minutes we had to flag her down to ask where our appetizer was and she apologized before bringing it out 10 minutes or so later. It wasn't so busy that the kitchen was behind - I think she just forgot to put the order in or the kitchen forgot to fire it. We had placed our dinner order at the same time, and that came out shortly after the appetizer for 3 of the 4 of us. The 4th member of the party had to wait 10 minutes or so for her chicken wrap to come out. Flagging down our waitress for the check was also a challenge. She would disappear for long stretches of time. Service was truly appalling and we were there for over 2.5 hours for what we had expected would be a quick and delicious dinner. I won't go back.
