It's healthy and organic, and you get exactly what you expected. This burger was flavorful and the bun was made in-house, and you could see them cooking the meat straight from raw. Same taste as fast food burger but my stomach felt so good after, not bloated or feeling sick from sodium/chemicals The only con is that the store's burgers obviously werent made for show, but that doesnt matter. You know something is healthy for you when it looks a little shabby and home-made. I also wish the store was a little bit bigger with more tables and seatings, but it's just your average hole in the wall shop. It's to be expected in such a dilapitated area -- a hidden gem thats good for your stomach

I disputed the charge but the bank found the charges were not fraudulent - When I brought this to the manager's attention I was dismiss " there is nothing we can do about this" . If you order online , make sure you don't get charged more than once. Food is good but not recognizing billing mistakes is not best practices if you want your customers to come back - I will never order from this location again. Update - 4/2/2026 - I am changing the rate to 5 star. The management of TKS reviewed the transactions and issued a refund - Thank you so much for your response and willingness to correct an honest mistake. So having to come out to San Marcos and Escondido has been what I've had to do to get my fix. It's newer, nicer, cleaner than most locations and the service is actually friendly. Probably the fastest online ordering I've seen anywhere. Literally 3 minutes from when I placed the order, walked in the door and my soda was ready, just waiting on ripping hot fries which came 90 seconds later and they warned me about how hot they were. Of course I didn't wait because I had my arbys sauce waiting to cool it off enough to eat. Let it sit there for 3-4 seconds rather than a quick dunk before eating and it's cool enough. Like all Arbys they have great lighting from tons of windows and a less cramped drive thru than most. They seem to be heavier handed with the meats than other locations and they are the only national ff chain that has cooper sharp, which any Philly Cheesesteak fan knows well. I usually order my 5lb bricks online, but if I just need some of that tang I'll come here. Prices are inflating, as are all fast food, but like everyone else they have rewards. I just don't like how their rewards expire quickly. Often times being available less than a week. I feel less bloated and gross with their fries than from other curly fries. Their cheesesteak is the best of any fast food chain and even better than some restaurants. I'd say it's the 5th best cheesesteak in San DIego. I love how soft their buns are and their rolls have chew and are seeded. Their soda fountains always hit and are never out or low. This location is just outside of most of the transient populations that congregate nearby so walking here isn't bad at all.

And now it's in a different location a few miles from where it had been. I like the new choices that they've added to the menu. I never was a fan of the roast beef because it was so processed. I prefer things like tri-tip. My go-to in the old days was the chicken strips. These days I buy the reuben, fish sandwich, and the limited items. I also love the potato cakes and mozzarella sticks as sides. The app has some great deals, and I usually place my order to go in the app so it's ready when I arrive. I'm always getting it to go on my way to work or errands. Getting in and out of the shopping center can be a little challenging, but it's near Center City Parkway and the 15 and 78 freeways. That means it's an easy stop on your way to somewhere else.
