Church's came in clutch for the win! We ordered, were seated and served within minutes. The staff was friendly and gracious with us, even after several refill requests. The food was delicious! I had hot, fresh and spicy chicken that reminded me of the good old days. This is an older store that hasn't been renovated or updated in any way, but the food and service were unaffected. As I mentioned, lunch was great. If you're ever near Douglas, it's worth a visit.

Chilaquiles were not overly spicy, nice and crispy, like we like them, not soggy. Biscuits and gravy were flavorful and there again, the biscuits were surprisingly light. The restaurant, which used to be a Denny's, has been converted into this new establishment, but it definitely wasn't an upgrade--it was a downgrade. I don't eat at Denny's often, but from my experience, even their food seemed better than what I had here. Given the high prices, I just didn't feel it was worth it. I hope they improve the food quality because the place has potential, but as of now, I wouldn't return.

After logging on to my Pizza Hut app, it became apparent that this location no longer delivers (they did last year, but not anymore). Seems like they really could deliver since I'm only a few minutes away. However, I decided to just order online and pick it up myself. So I went to the counter to pick up my order and someone started helping me, then stopped and went to tend to some issue in the back. Another nice young lady came and got my information. She put part of my ordered together then started snipping at someone that had forgotten part of my order (wings). Eventually the wings arrived and she said my order was complete. I reminded her that I had ordered a side salad as well. She went to find it, but seemed annoyed that I was requesting something that I had ordered. Even more annoyed when I asked it if came with caesar dressing (it does, she just forgot to get it). I even had to ask for plastic forks because we were staying at a hotel. I gave up and didn't get paper plates or napkins. Service was just so-so. The pizza we ordered was delicious -- no complaints there! The Honey BBQ wings had a LOT of sauce on them. I thought they could use less sauce, but maybe others like them floating in the sauce (which is tasty). The caesar salad was kind of frumpy -- the croutons were pretty stale, or they were just gross because the salad had been in the fridge for awhile. No stickers or markings to identify when the salad was made -- so I don't know how long it has been waiting for me to come along -- but usually other Pizza Hut salads I get have a sticker with a "made on" date stuck to the top. While the pizza is good, the service was less than amazing and some of the other food items were just average. Also, I have to knock them down a star for the lack of delivery service.
