I went one time in early 2023 on work travel over there, and I was underwhelmed with that location. Although the food was great, they were as slow as molasses and was kind of dirty in there; not the experiences I had in the past. Although they had their issues, I was disappointed when I saw they had closed. So, when in Rome, I wanted to make to Bojangles on SML trip. Fast food is limited in the area. It's Bojangles & Wendy's, which is weak, and I live within 5 miles of a Wendy's, so I wanted to get something I can't get at home. I was very impressed with how friendly, fast, & tasty the food was on both visits here. I also was very impressed how clean it was in this location unlike the former MD locations. They also had American flags up for week of 4th of July, which was nice. This location was better than any of the MD locations I went to, DC, Fredericksburg, & one in North Carolina. Both times I got the chicken tender platter, which is tenders, fries (well seasoned), & biscuit; all delicious with Bo Sauce along with sweet tea, a nice Southern delicacy freshly brewed here.
