Kadai Chicken was new to us and we loved it. Spectacular. Delicate and intricate flavors. We always order Malai Kofta if it's on the menu. Never disappoints. Chicken Tikka Masala was very good. We were just more enamored with the Kadai. All the dishes worked very well together. The malai kofta wasn't even hot, but we loved it anyway. I really should have sent it back, but as I mentioned, we were in town for a happy event so we just rolled with it! Let's talk about how delicious this food was. It did take a little while for it to come out, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fluffy on the outside and also crisp the garlic naan was. The prices were very reasonable, and I believe at this place, I got a coconut cashew dish, and I must say it was very delicious. Now, normally when I eat Nepali and/or Indian food, it is spicy. I got the medium spice. That way, I was able to enjoy the flavor notes, and, well, I didn't regret it. This establishment is great. It is right off the highway and has plenty of seating. They also have a bar area, which is amazing. And if you want to have a banquet hall for a party of 10 or more, this is definitely the spot. The menu has all the ingredients listed and what is inside the food, which makes it very easy to choose what you want to eat. The bathrooms are also very clean. When you walk in, there is some incense in the beginning, and it is not overwhelming. It is pleasant and relaxing. It feels like you were transported into what I would believe is another part of the world. That said, you'll feel right at home while waiting for your food - the guys make jokes and friendly small talk with you, and there's always a game of some kind on the TV. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule contains cinnamon-vanilla syrup and ginger beer. Thankfully no substitutions needed here. The pizza at Pitt Street Station is bar style. A thin, chewy crust with the toppings layered on top. I found the crust to be pretty good. I like the combo of tapenade and house tomato sauce but did find it a tad salty. Can't imagine what it is like with the Romano added in. The Cinnamon Vanilla Mule was very good. I liked the balance of all the components. It was cool to see some non alcoholic cocktails on the menu and to have them be really good. I did find "Smoked Goat Bread" on the menu, the only bread listed, for $14. Hoping for some good focaccia or similar. Far from it. Room temperature, hardly any toasting, soggy, small. The risotto portion also was small with a weird consistency that was both watery and creamy. The carrots, thin and in rainbow colors, were delicious. At least I they were for the 15 seconds it took me to consume the 3 dwarf vegetables, leaving me wanting more. Just like I wanted more swordfish and more risotto. On the way to the rest room I passed the kitchen and saw somebody's salmon plate, with a piece of fish almost 3 times as big as mine. Hey, if swordfish's too expensive, either raise the price and let the customer decide or remove it from the menu. My portion was just insulting. I wasn't drinking alcohol that evening but ordered a mocktail, an alcohol-free margarita. Big mistake! Awful. I've had some great mocktails before and know alcohol isn't always essential but this thing was almost undrinkable, so unbalanced, too sweet, thick, no fresh fruit tang. I didn't order any dessert.
