Worst service you could ever get. As a chain restaurant manager quite disappointed to say the least. Couldn't even attend me when they had no customers. Save yourself the horrible service and grab food elsewhere. read more

We eat at this Subway every time we go to Bryce. Sometimes it is because we have no other choice and sometime it's because we like Subway. It is a bit more expensive but this is a resort area with virtually zero fast food competition. It's not outrageously more. The service is always a roll of the dice, as is the food. I have seen one person behind the counter perform miracles with 15 people in line and I've seen 5 people behind the counter blow it with 3 people in line. It seems clean, the employees are likely doing their best, and like I say, you really are limited at Bryce. Will I eat here again? Likely. Will the meatball sub stay with me for 3 days? Likely. Wanna get rich? Open a McDonalds down there. Holy cow! read more

I am annoyed- I don't want to even do this it was 7:30 PM. Someone was inside behind the counter door was locked. The hours posted said open until 9on Sunday. Change your hours posted. The first rule of customer service is offer what you promise. The employee did not even acknowledge our presence- it would of taken a minute to explain the hours had changed in a nice manner. Seriously management if you change your hours how hard is it to get a new sign to put on the door stating the change!!! read more

Clean... just down the road (5-10 minute drive, depending how fast you drive) from Bryce Canyon National Park.... same deals as any other Subway around the nation. When I was there, got my $3 breakfast combo. Suggestion, if you're leaving Bryce Canyon National Park for a long drive, stop here on your way out. Cheaper option and quick service. read more

Deserves better than most people are rating it. I went here out of desperation, because Bryce Canyon food is both expensive and awful. It's very similar to Tusayan, another tourist trap outside the Grand Canyon. I read these reviews first, and was afraid I would encounter unusually bad Subway food at extremely high prices. Fortunately, neither of these came true. Prices were a little higher (I'd say 20%) than Subways at home, but no biggie. I didn't expect a bargain, and the familiarity of Subway was a big relief in a town full of expensive, lousy restaurants. The food was typical Subway. It wasn't unusually good or bad, but it was edible as Subway typically is. The staff was a little bit clueless and confused, but everyone was nice. The guy at the cash register seemed to be the only one with a brain, but what do you expect at a Bryce Canyon Subway?! Overall I was happy with my decision. Would come here again. read more

Life Saver! Haven't been a Subway fan for years, but now I am a true convert! I loved everything about Bryce Canyon EXCEPT the food. Subway was the only vegetarian friendly food experience I had. All the other restaurants I found outside the park were almost exclusively meat based (exception- a grilled cheese, ordered to go, off the kids menu at my hotel). The Veggie patty sandwich from Subway and the egg white morning sandwich saved my culinary life during this trip. In addition, this location offered personal pizzas and a good selection of Dryer's ice cream, for those looking for someting sweet. Employees were friendly and store was very clean. It was wonderful to have a Veggie friendly place that had fresh, healthy options for us health minded outdoors enthusiasts! read more

With the very limited choices around Bryce, we were so happy to have found a food chain we're familiar with. Got our sandwiches pretty quickly. I was kind of bummed that this one had no cilantro, but given where we were, it was understandable. $10 for a foot long sandwich, which is more expensive than usual. The cashier lady was so friendly. This is the least worst option in the cesspool of lame restaurants surrounding Bryce Canyon. Unsurprisingly, their prices are higher than at a typical Subway. They were out of veggie patties when we got there. Inventory control anyone? The line was long; however, it moved at a decent pace. You know, it's a Subway, and so you know what to expect. It was pretty clean, large, and I had my food in pretty short time. I didn't notice the prices being any different than other Subway stores I had been in, as was indicated by another guest. And, to be honest, it's far more reasonable than any of the restaurants near, or in, the National Park. I recommend eating there before, or leaving the park to have lunch there. It's about a 5-10 minute ride from the visitor center. read more

I'm fully aware that Subway isn't special. I kinda knew what I was getting into, and normally I would never go to Subway. I didn't want to pay the high prices of local restaurants in Bryce but I was hungry; next time I'll fast. The "rotisserie chicken" was so tasteless the paper wrapper would be more edible. The veggies somehow had the texture of wet rags. The only thing with a little flavor were the banana peppers, and it wasn't enough. Easily, by several orders of magnitude, the worst sandwich I've ever had. Even adding jalapeño chips to the sandwich couldn't save it. Lesson re-learned. ‍ read more

Horrible horrible customer service. Just horrible. And given that there isn't much competition in this area (not saying there should be more choice) I don't see any motivation for them to improve. This IS a shop that relies on tourists and it is sad that the service is just so nasty. read more

Staff were not very pleasant, we heard them loudly arguing with each other about dirty dishes while we are in the dining room. The toaster didn't work right to even warm our egg sandwich. And way overpriced for subway -- $5 footlong is $10 here! read more

With few options around Bryce this time of year, we ate at this Subway two nights in a row. The first night, the line was almost out the door and there were only 3 employees that we saw - 2 making food and one as the cashier. They had run out of the bread my kids wanted. Tonight, the line was better and there were two more employees. They had run out of two kinds of bread again. No one had cleaned the tables so the place was a mess. About 20 minutes before closing, two people started cleaning up and putting chairs up. It felt a little weird. The night before, people came in up until closing and then after and were turned away since they close at 8. Feels like they should anticipate extra customers since it's spring break for so many families! Maybe have more employees working and food stocked. read more

I stopped at this Subway after visiting Bryce. Food was good and so was the service. I accidentally left my coat there and they mailed it back to me for free (I live on the east coast)! I know it costs at least $14 to mail it back. I offered to pay and they said to "just pay it forward". Very nice and gracious people and I encourage you to support their shop. read more

We stopped here thinking we could grab a quick lunch and be on our way. Not the case as we were helped by two of the most brain dead people I have ever seen. It is Subway, it is expensive. However, it is one of about 5 choices in the area and good if you like Subway. I happen to love the veggie patty on Italian herb with all the vegetables and a heavy hand pour of vinegar; the husband loves the Italian melt. It was 10 mins till they closed and their door was wide open. We walked in to some guy who seemed like the manager said "oh we already put all the food away..." (Why is your door open then?) They clearly had started putting the stuff away well before the posted closing time. After reading the other numerous dissatisfied customers, I'm kind of glad I did not eat at this establishment. Worst subway we ever had. Our first day at Bryce Canyon we went hiking, and was starving when we got to this subway, the line was super long. I usually don't rate fast food restaurants because the food and service are the same at most locations. This Subway is 'special' though. The food is the same as any other Subway, but the service is terrible. It took 10 minutes to get a sandwich with just one person in line ahead of me. The guy making sandwiches seemed brain dead. I had to repeat my toppings to him three times. This was after he put lettuce on the sub, which I didn't want. He then tried to scrape the lettuce off of the sub. That was entertaining. The prices are also a bit more than your normal Subway. So there you have it: horrible service at a higher price. read more

There are already VERY limited options during off season in Bryce Canyon, but when you post your operating hours tourists (those that are the reason you exist) rely on you to be open, ESPECIALLY on a holiday weekend (Friday night)! Who closes at 7:30pm on a Friday night knowing travelers are on their way into town and you are one of 2 options for them? Subway should be made aware of this franchise owners business practices and undoubtedly would disapprove. Nothing special about this Subway except it is the most affordable food for miles. Location, location, location. Living in San Francisco, I've become an anti-chain, anti-corporation, fast-food-hater. Set me in the middle of gorgeous nowhere Utah: SUBWAY, FTW! The only place to eat/shop/sleep in Bryce Canyon area is the Ruby Inn's complex. Your choices: non-chain fried fast food starting at $8, $30+ for a steak dinner and cheesy cowboy show, fancy expensive dinner inside Bryce Canyon Lodge, or $5 Subway. Yes, only one sub is $5 but buck up cowpoke, it's still cheaper than Ruby Inn's. J and I shared two footlongs: the sub of the month (buffalo chicken) and a veggie delight. Dinner for two cost less than $12 and had veggies, protein and carb. (Tip: if you're in Moab, stock up. There's a real grocery store where we got our snack foods and fruits. We didn't need the subway meals and hence, no sticker shock.) The counter people were short-handed and two people did everything: cutting and toasting the bread, putting in the meat, piling on the veggies, cutting the sandwich in half, ringing up people. I thought they were fine, but the lady behind me started mean and got meaner. I felt bad for them. They're really busy so cut them some slack and be prepared to wait in line. It's a Subway, exactly like every other Subway. And frankly a huge improvement over lots of the other options in the area. A few others have commented on poor service, but we had no problems. That day they seemed to have some teenagers working for the summer who were new, and an adult was trying to get them up to speed. But our order was correct and quick. No complaints. read more

They barely constructed an edible sandwich, it was so sloppily put together- and get this a 6" veggie sub meal was $10. That is insane. A footlong turkey sub meal was $7. My family stopped in for lunch on 4/11, after a hike. There was a huge lunch crowd, but the manager and crew handled it well. I *stupidly* left my backpack under a table and I didn't realize it was gone for an entire hours drive away. I called right away and the manager (wish I had asked her name) was so kind and tucked the backpack away for me. The backpack had cash and other valuables. Everything was untouched. Holy crap, my bill was $13.23 for a 6 inch spicy italian combo with 3 cookies. The girl at checkout was obviously prepared to answer my inquiry about the price; they must have a lot of customers shocked by the prices. There are a few Subways east and west of this one. The food itself is standard for a Subway. But the prices are outrageous. Definitely make sure you take a look at the menu before ordering your usual. I think a roast beef footlong was $10. A ham or cold cut combo footlong is only $6 which is probably your best bet. read more

I don't think I've ever seen 2 grown men move slower and be less interested in helping the customers. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, still not being close to being served and watching the cashier literally stand there and watch the other guy "work" while they chit chatted with each other I could stand it no longer. if you have an hour to eat at subway this might be the place for you. read more
