All three times, I have tried different foods and beer. Each time, the food was absolutely great, I love the beer, the service is excellent, friendly, fast, and the place is clean and nice. I've had the olive burger, fish and chips and Haus Mac and had them add fried chicken. Truly great, all three times. My family has had the kids burger (small, slider size) but REALLY GOOD, tons of cheddar cheese melting off it, pizza which was great, bacon-wrapped hot dog, great, and we all love the waffle fries and the seasoning on them. I haven't had a bad beer yet, but I recommend the Mortarhead IPA is it's one of the best IPAs I've had in a while! Haven't tried dessert there yet, but it's likely in my future. They have seating to accommodate small or large groups (we were 6 yesterday and had plenty of room in a both). Lots of TVs, which isn't always my favorite, but I appreciate that Bob Ross was on one of them, lol! Overall, this place is great, and we intend to keep going back here!

I chose the Rudy's favorite (provolone, ham, and salami), and added all the fixings: lettuce, onion, tomato, seasoning, oil, and vinegar. They sliced the meat right in front of me and it was super quick to get my order, which was appreciated on a lunch break. I got a diet root beer from the fridge (don't forget to use their bottle opener to open your drink) and grabbed a bag of chips. The sub was probably about 5" and was a good sized portion for me for lunch. They also have a "mom" size and a "dad" size, but I don't know what those look like, I wish they put actual measurements or even approximations. The bread was soft and a little soggy from the oil and vinegar, but it was flavorful and everything was fresh. I would definitely order from Rudy's Sub Shop again - they also have soup or you can get any sandwich as a gluten free wrap!

Apparently, she and her husband stop by regularly for drinks, and she has a particular fondness for the bartender, whom I believe is named Mark. And after meeting him, I can understand why! He was charming, friendly, and just genuinely lovely. The place has that classic American grill-and-bar atmosphere, with lots of wood, warm decor, and a casual, welcoming feel. It's comfortable without trying too hard to be trendy, the kind of neighborhood spot where people can relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a drink or a meal without any fuss. We sat at the bar, which was a very comfortable spot to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere. There were plenty of younger people dining and socializing, and it was easy to see why the place is popular with the locals. My friend tells me it gets especially busy after 4 p.m., so this seems to be one of those places that the neighborhood has happily adopted as its own. We didn't have a full dining experience this time, so I can't speak to the food, but the atmosphere and friendly service made a very good impression. If you're exploring charming little Ada, Schnitz-Ale Grill is worth stopping by for a drink and a taste of the local scene. And if Mark is behind the bar, be sure to say hello!

A dependable lunch spot in Ada with a great atmosphere!…read more Met my sister at Schnitz for lunch and had a good experience overall. I ordered the BLT, and while it was good, I was expecting a little more bacon. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was well made, but it felt a bit light considering bacon is supposed to be the star of the show. My sister ordered a salad and really enjoyed it. It was fresh, generously sized, and honestly looked better than most side salads you get at similar places. The atmosphere is probably my favorite part of Schnitz. It has that classic local deli feel and seems to attract a lot of regulars. It's a comfortable place to sit, relax, and catch up without feeling rushed. Overall, the experience was solid. Decent food, good service, and a great local vibe. I'd come back, but I might explore more of the menu next time instead of ordering the BLT again. 4/5 stars!

They made me a delicious panini grilled cheese and veggie sandwich that was a perfect compliment to the recommended chili. I added onions and cheese to my chili and it was phenomenal! Flavorful and the exact right amount of spice. The whole mom 'n pop shop had fun add-ons that could be purchased like candy cigarettes, local pops and delicious sounding pints of ice-cream. I'm happy I found this little gem. Maybe next time I should test their pizza. Sold by the slice during the day for 3-4 bucks a slice. Definitely recommend the paninis and chili. Good deal for $13 and much tastier and more food than Panera bread's U pick 2. This place deserves all the business! Friendly and affordable. Support local, your stomach will thank you.
