I've never had dry farts that sounded so wet before…read more We stopped by on our way to Jackson since we needed something quick. We had taco time once 12 years ago and make fun of it every time we drive by one, but didn't really remember the food. When we pulled up to the drive thru window (which was a house window), I asked my wife if she had diapers for the kids. Then I semi jokingly asked if she had diapers for us. I figured - worst case - I'd have to pull over and have the squirts in the woods somewhere along the drive. The food took forever to "make". I told my wife they probably only have one microwave to cook it all in. I may have been right. Everything was room temp or below, except the kids chicken and potatoes, which they probably microwaved last. Anyway, my kids refused to eat the chicken. The potatoes were not bad. My wife had a few bites of her "taco" and threw it away. I paid for the food, so I ate most of my "taco" on principle. To my surprise, it didn't instantly give me the bubble guts. But then... the entire night, I kept farting myself awake with the loudest, wettest sounding (and feeling) farts I've ever had. I got up every time, thinking I had just soiled the bed. But I'd wipe and everything was perfectly dry and clean. I have no idea about the science behind such a phenomenon, but in my 41 years of life, this is a new one for me. Still giving it 3 stars though since it pretty much met expectations.

There are a couple of RedBox machines outside too, if you're in the mood for a fun movie night. The employees are okay. Sometimes they can be hard to indulge in conversation, but then again, who likes to chat at midnight (which is normally the time I do a Mav Run)? Hotdogs with a condiment bar, cold beverages, and baked goods are normally on my radar as soon as I waltz into the place. I really love it here. TIPS & TRICKS: * Try a cheddarwust hotdog with some pico on it! * Make your own "Dirty Dr. Pepper" with the soda bar in the back--limes and different flavors are available for the picking. * Don't forget to grab a Maverik "Bonfire" cookie near the cash register, the Reese's PB one's are TO. DIE. FOR. * If you're in the mood for nachos, pour some cheese in a boat and grab the bag of chips--much better to dip a crisp chip in cheese then grab a goopy cheesy chip that ends up not having enough cheese anyways.

The staff was upfront about a 15-minute wait to be seated and 20 minutes to order, which we appreciated. However, it ultimately took an hour to get our food because there was only one cook in the kitchen. The servers were incredibly warm, courteous, and honest about the delay. Unfortunately, the food was just average--definitely not worth a 60-minute wait. My take: If you love classic diner-style eating and have a loose schedule, you might enjoy it. If you want quicker overall service, immediate water service, and a fully staffed kitchen, there are better dining options nearby.

We waited 50minutes for our to-go order. A plain cheeseburger came out covered with all of the fixings instead of it being left plain. The customer after us was told that most of that stuff doesn't come on the burger and has to be added. The grilled ham and cheese was slathered in mayo and too soggy to be appetizing. At least the fries were good, but that's the only positive I can find. Overall, extremely disappointing. Had we not already been on the road back to Wyoming we'd have gone back and asked for a refund, which we almost did as a result of the wait to begin with.
