This year I decided to call Orkin when I saw just one bee inside my house in May, hoping to treat the issue before it became worse and more bothersome. They had availability for literally the next day to treat the entire perimeter of my home, including my attached garage AND guaranteed the treatment through December 31st. Tim, one of the exterminators, came the very same day we called in our concern. He sprayed the nest and applied a powder, this being done with a very long (20'), unwieldy device. Cost was reasonable given the stress we were feeling with the yellow jackets in our home. We had a very unpleasant situation in our home that required professional assistance to remediate. A friend of mine highly recommended this business and absolutely glowed about the experience that she had in a similarly unpleasant situation with her home. The staff was so friendly, understanding, and helpful from start to finish that I cannot recommend them enough. I will say they are a smaller family business and so once or twice I had to call a second time to be able to get through to somebody, but this was simply because they were working through their callbacks and not because they didn't care enough to call back. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and it came with a guarantee that they would come back and retreat if we had an issue after their treatment. They gave very clear and detailed preparation instructions that made all the difference in the efficacy of the treatment. I was extremely worried about the situation that we had, but we were able to handle the entire thing with one treatment and it has now been months with no follow up issues. I would also like to note that they did not try to upsell me at all. We were able to talk through the specifics of my situation to find the right balance between over and under treating.
