Huge thanks to everyone at Suburban Auto! They provide high quality service in a convenient timeframe at a very reasonable price. As a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, going to get my car checked/fixed can at times be quite intimidating, however Suburban Auto technicians made this process very easy and comprehensible for me. I came here for the first time last year when I needed a fuse fixed, and they had me back in my car, already repaired, within the hour at a very low cost. I returned again earlier this week to get suspension looked at & ball joints fixed, and it was ready to go by next day. Everyone there is very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. My jeep liberty has had many visits to multiple different mechanics in Norwood and Canton, and none of those other places had helped me nearly as much as Suburban Auto has, I will never take my car anywhere else for repairs ever again. I contacted Suburban about an issue with my car, this business was referred to be by a family member. I talked to Joe and he said he was busy but could fit me in this afternoon. I dropped by and the receptionist and Joe could not have been more pleasant. Joe looked at my car and asked if i could leave it overnite which I did. The next morning I called and he said it was all set. The service was great and he took the time to listen to my concerns and solve the problem. My mom has been taking her car to Chris at Suburban Auto since he opened his shop and when I moved back to the area 5 years ago, I started bringing my car to him, too. One thing I appreciate about Chris is that safety is always his priority - not making a quick buck. He'll let me know what repairs need to be made immediately for my safety and what can wait without endangering me or the car. He is honest and does great work at competitive prices. I'm moving an hour away and will have to find a new mechanic, which does not thrill me. My new mechanic has awfully big shoes to fill. Only works on cheap cars like toyota Honda and ford. $800 dollars for 2 axles... didn't even last me 6 months because they're not the right axles for my car. Charged $350 for the parts which the correct axle only cost $185. Went back to him 5 times for metal noise. They Said never heard it and car was fine... turns out they never drove it. Now that I had 2 different real professional look at it, It's been confirmed that axles were wrong ones so never would lock in correctly They won't fix their shitty work either. Told me not to come back. Won't give me monwy back or even admit they don't know what they were doing. Don't go here for anything more than a smile and brake pads. read more

I don't trust a lot of mechanics. They either drive up the price, lie about what needs to be done, or "Mickey Mouses" a fix only to have to go back a few weeks later. Chris at Suburban Auto Technicians is as honest as they come. Very quick, reliable and honest. I will never take my cars anywhere else (except to the GM dealership to fix one of the many many recalls). Chris has always been very honest with me and he doesn't try to fix more than is needed. I've actually dropped my car off there before thinking it needed a huge amount of repairs. He could have done and charged me for everything that I had asked for, instead he looked around to find the real problem, and charged me a fraction of the original job I had expected. He will give you reasonable estimates and tell you how long you have before something needs to be repaired.
