I called this establishment today looking for storage. I told the lady where I live and where I am…read moremoving. I explained I am not super familiar with the area and asked where they were located in regard to either of those locations. The straightest answer I could get between snorts and retorts was " you gotta go up the hwy." She said they were not close to either of the locations. When I looked at their local on the map I find that they are actually far closer and far less expensive than the next most affordable storage I could find. Were it not for the attitude I would have chosen them for storage, but because I don't feel like paying for disrespect I will drive several miles further and spend $18 more a month just to avoid having to deal with one of the most rude, crude and unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. I would not tell anyone to do business here based on principle alone. When I finally got fed up and told the "lady" she had an attitude and I didn't need to talk to her she was prepared to have an argument with me about it. Clearly customer service does not exist here. I work in customer service and if I ever talked to a customer the way this "lady" spoke to me I would be so fired. My only regret is that I can't go fire her.

Looking for a short term storage solution while we wait for our new house to close, I chose…read moreStorageMart due to it's close proximity to our apartment. I was greeted by Tom whom I believe was the manager., I explained our situation and made choices as they were presented. That included a small space in a climate-controlled building. We found the facility clean and accessible from very early to very late. Not being too keen on what these places go for I will say it seemed expensive. I was charged for a partial month which is reasonable but then hit with a $25 "administration fee". Even though I didn't need the space for the entire next month, I was charged for it. My term was "month-to-month" so I let it go. I also was told they require a 15 day notice of evacuation which seems excessive to me and more designed to catch people asleep at the wheel and susceptible to yet another month's charge. Admittedly, I am not familiar with pricing for storage so this might be in line with other local facilities. I honestly don't know because I didn't take the time to shop it around. My bad. That said, I was happy with what I got and although I'd recommend you do what I didn't and shop around, I certainly wouldn't summarily dismiss StorageMart. It was an effective solution and a good experience.

They change their procedures and do not notify their customers. One unit 10x10 is one price, then the next is double that price. Be careful. I would Never recommend this place to anyone. Trust me. They seem nice, but will screw you over in a heart beat. Keep looking, move on. Do not do what I did and take them at face value.
