They import and sell exclusively Italian wines, and they source their wines directly from farmers who are dedicated to organic farming practices. They also import many wines from young winemakers as well as female winemakers (from regions where female winemakers are not very common). The tasting room is very comfortable and had plenty of seating for people on a Saturday night around 6. You can drop in for shopping (they offer all 50 of their wines in their bottle shop) or to hang out (they offer rotating flights, glasses of wine, and a build your own charcuterie board menu). I was there for the $30 tasting (which is by reservation only), which included five wines and a some snacks (some chips, some cheese, some olives, and some fresh preserves/jam). Bailey, their somm, took such great care of me throughout my tasting. He brought me a map of Italy and described each wine and the winemaker with incredible detail and insight. I enjoyed all of the wines and the snacks! I also left with a few bottles to enjoy later at home! I had a great time at Vine Bar. They're doing something very cool and different from other wine bars, and I'd love to return for another tasting or just to enjoy a glass of wine or two at the bar.

My husband was also happy with his hot lobster roll. For my anniversary dinner I was really looking forward to a nice steak but alas, I was not interested in paying $65 for 6 ounces of Waygu; so I settled for your Belvi bao bun rip-off, which was fine and by the time it came out, I was so hungry I devoured it. And then for dessert: I was so excited to get the cheese course because I saw you had the Humboldt Fog! And I figured you could not mess this up! And my husband loves a good port which he was able to order the Grahams 30 year (but wow? no 40 year ports? hmm) 30 minutes later: I mean, I guess you had to bake the bread to go with the cheese??? I can't imagine what else would take that long. Except again that you have one server for 100 seat restaurant on a Tuesday night and there's 35 people in it. For dessert, Affogato has long been my favorite dessert whenever I see it on a menu. Luca's is one of the best I've had. My husband loved the olive oil cake with the blackberry jam! This is a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating and while buzzing with energy, not so loud that we couldn't chat over our meals. Last night we stopped in because they have spiced apple and maple ciders that we wanted to try. The spiced apple was the best cider I've ever had from Levengoods. It had the perfect amount of spice and was just damn good. The maple was also good. It's more of a maple aftertaste, but still good. We even took a can of spiced apple home. You can get three sizes of cider. They have a flight glass for $2, a half pint for $3.50, and a pint for $6. They also sell large bottles, crowlers, and growlers to go. Every time we go it is always the same bartenders, who are beyond nice. Even when it's pretty full they still take the time to talk with you and get to know you. If we lived closer, we'd be there so much more because it's just that good. I really wish we lived closer. We'll be back soon because that apple spice is just worth it to us!

The space itself is very large, clean, open, and modern, with what appears to be a beautifully renovated warehouse-style design. Anyways, after the first second tasting, our server vanished for about 20ish minutes. She finally came back to give us our 3rd tasting (you get 4) and that was it for at least another 20ish minutes. All in all we spent about an hour and a half and that was because of all the wait times. Another couple came in and sat at the bar who didn't have the deal; it was obvious they were worth the attention more than us local flavor people. I really advise them to stop doing this deal. They get overwhelmed easily and I ended up feeling like I was hounding them to serve us. I wanted a glass of wine (an actual glass at the end) and my wife had to go up to the woman to ask for one for me. It was over 13.00. Not worth it... I'd rather go get a nice cocktail some place for that price. Inevitably, The local flavor deal is not even that great of a deal, particularly when you feel like you are being put on the back burner in favor of other customers. We won't be going back.
