This sub shop is a small yellow building on the main road in Menands. They have Great subs, great rolls. We had the special, an Italian sub, a ham and Swiss sub and a cheese sub. They were all delicious and yummy. Fresh, quality ingredients for reasonable Prices. There is ample parking on both sides of the building. Staff is friendly and the order was correct and ready quickly.

Great local sub spot. Great prices and good customer service. It's hot as Jupiter inside the restaurant though. I feel bad for the girls working in there. It's so freaking hot. They really need to install a better a/c unit. They have an ancient one on the wall and a super old ghetto fan circulating hot air. Apart from that it's a great spot for subs.

Okay i'm pretty sure I already wrote a review for this place but the business got deleted. I love their sub bread, always fresh. They're open late to which is nice since I sometimes want a sandwich for dinner without having the only option of subway. They have picnic tables outside to sit and eat if you wanted to.

The speed in which they make the sandwich and add some flavor! Asked for hot peppers, I didn't taste them!

Always the best subs from here. Been coming here for nearly 40 years and have always been impressed. Nice lady that owns it too.

Awesome subs, they hat the ratio of meat to bread down pat. Reminds me of the old Mike's subs, they were always my favorite!

The lack of meat and flavor in a $15 sub was amazing. Given this, the lack of cars in the parking lot at noon wasn't.

Called in a order, still had to wait over an hr to get my 3 subs. This place needs a pick up order line. Food was still good.

Where is the meat. For what you get its way over priced I'm all about supporting a mom and pop shop. Not about geting ripped off.

Very good subs; the traditional sub roll. The menu is extensive. They close from January through March to go to sunny Florida.

First off I'm not sure what food people in these reviews are eating, because in my experience the Italian mix sub was very bland, the bread was dry, and the meat looked pale and weird. That ambience of the place was nostalgic which is the reason why I gave it 3 stars and not 2. The woman helping me was friendly enough but made it a point to tell me how gas prices were fine at $4.10 per gallon as long as Trump was the president, which annoyed me because it gives an indication that details don't matter here. Given the taste of the $15 small sub I paid for it definitely tracks. Be your own critic, but for me it's the history of this place and not the food has people coming back. I won't be one of them.

Some notable changes I noticed during the most recent visit include a big flat screen TV and tables and chairs indoors. The freezer apparently was out of order, but I would have loved to get their tiramisu which is also one of the best I've ever had. Their sub always strikes the right balance in the dressing, bread, meats, and toppings. Toppings are consistently good quality, and you can customise your sub by asking staff what you do and don't want on it. I hope they stay healthy and busy for decades to come.

The market has that old time vibe of being part of the neighborhood. Amazing selection of Italian goods and some seating. Perhaps most importantly, a really nice selection of creative sandwiches, filled with high quality ingredients, that they can also put on a wrap. I loved the Rabe C, broccoli rabe, fried eggplant, provolone and hot pepper spread. Great flavor combo and a pop of heat from the pepper spread. My wife enjoyed a delicious roast beef wrap and my daughter enjoyed a vibrant pasta salad. All that plus a local orchard sparkling apple cider! Almost forgot to mention, the woman working behind the counter was pleasant and the staff were all professional. I can see why it's a local favorite!

This fast service hoagie shop serves a good selection of signature cold & hot hoagies on sesame seeded or non-seeded bread, side deli salads, chips, cookies, dirt pudding, and Pepsi products. They also offer a $15.99 Combo (in May 2025) meal deal with a primo size hoagie, chips and drink and sell deli meats & cheeses by the pound. The pricing is moderate and similar to what other sub shop chains in the area charge. This location is cozy which is order at the counter and there is inside seating. After hearing about Primo Hoagies opening up in Albany, I decided to go on the Primo Hoagies app and placed my order for a customized primo size Abruzzi ($13.59 plus tax) with additional free toppings. I drove about 2 miles to Primo Hoagies and my sandwich was ready and bagged when I arrived. The Abruzzi hoagie (12" size) served cold, had plenty of deli sliced roasted pork with provolone cheese, broccoli rabe, oregano, oil, black pepper, adding shredded lettuce, tomatoes, hot banana peppers, red onions, & pickles in a very firm & very chewy sesame seeded hoagie roll. Other than the tough thick bread roll, the sandwich was pretty tasty. I would definitely stop by here again to try out other hoagies like the Chicken Parmigiana, Italian Tuna, and Philly Cheesesteak.
