The Malasadas were so warm and delicious. I enjoyed it with coffee and it was the perfect way to start the day.

We picked up a slice of the berry cheesecake and it was the best cheesecake we've ever had! We will check out more of their menu!

While it's a bit of a turn off for me when there are no prices displayed for any of the items, I'll still support you at least one time. There was the spam only musubi and one with egg which is what left with me. Initial visual is that it's juicy because of all the space and rolled in furukaki which are both things that I love! Nice hot when it left in my hand and out the door we went. The taste is good as the sauce wasn't too salty and the rice was just right; not to hard or soft. The rice was still able to hold together and the additional furukaki was generous. Nice shop to try! Street parking was easy for us this time

I was looking for someone who could handle breakfast and lunch and he delivered beautifully -- our attendees were all thrilled with the food (and specifically mentioned it in their evaluations). We did savory breakfast shokupan + honey butter toast + drinks (cold brew coffee, matcha latte, and a butterfly pea tea) for breakfast (and Sean threw in some extra muffins for me), and a variety of bentos and a mango and a strawberry cream layer cake. He even made up a special bento for my boss who had dietary restrictions. Sean was easy to work with and quick to return my anxious phone calls, plus the prices were so amazing for the quality of food. Highly recommend for your meetings and group events on island!

Their mochi--especially the peanut butter & chocolate or the truffle varieties--never disappoints. We also grab a few boxes of their rocky road and keep them in the fridge.

Wow! This is such an amazing find to have their various flavor mochi!…read more First thing first! Call to make your mochi reservation. You don't want to be disappointed and to show up only to find out they're all gone. Reserve, pick up, and enjoy! We got the dark chocolate truffle, red bean paste and peanut butter milk chocolate mochis. They were all delicious. The mochi skin was so smooth, so soft, and nicely chewy - just how a perfect mochi should be. And then fillings were complementary to the mochi skin - not too sweet, just right (so you know, when I drink milk tea, I usually go for 25% or if any milk tea with syrup, then 0%). Dark chocolate truffle had a very nice smooth dark chocolate truffle taste, and if you like dark chocolate, you'll love this. Peanut butter milk chocolate had a very nice texture with the chunky peanut chunks. It was deliciously chewy, crunchy and savory! And the traditional red bean paste, it was yummy. Only regret is that I didn't buy another set of all flavors to bring home to store in the freezer to have for the weeks to come. If you have had mochi from Twin Sisters in Hilo, this place comes neck to neck to theirs except that Maui Specialty Chocolates don't have any fresh fruit mochi which is all made up by how delicious the mochis are on Maui. Sorry, no picture as mochi was devoured before the camera came out

Aloha fellow BES' Kine Goodies Seekers!…read more I LOVE MANUELA MALASADAS so.stop by every time I go to Costco! They are right across the street so I may drive to the lot right next to the truck or just run across the street ! It's a cute, very clean food truck right off the hotel driveway & parking lot with parking stalls right near it in case you buy a bunch to take home. Or have a car full of luggage from your flight to Maui since it's just down the way from OGG airport. Malasadas put donuts to shame!!! ESPECIALLY if you like gooey fillings & toppings. My favorite ones are around Christmas but they have tons of regular fillings. I can never get less than three because I can't pass up my chance to try new ones. They have wonderful staff... especially the manager Sabrina...really know their way around dough and they do not scrimp on the Malasadas itself or the fillings! They ONLY cook just for you... so plan a few minutes wait but they have picnic tables under a tarp right there or you can walk around the other food trucks. But definitely at least take your first bites there while they're hot out of the frier!!! 'Only ONE piece of advice: ... G O. H U N G R Y !!!! ...

I mean, just check out their reviews, how could you not want to try it? Maui Pastry's dessert are Japanese style and all handmade by Ayumi, the owner. She posts pop-ups on her Instagram acount at @mauipastryayu and you seriously need to be quick. They sell out in a flash! Thankful to Bethani for giving me the heads up and hooking it up! Because of her I was able to try two delectable cheesecake flavors: Caramel Apple Cheesecake with walnut & graham cracker crust and Dark Cherry cheesecake with walnut crust. Oh my goodness, every single bite was heavenly. My favorite of the two was the caramel apple! I am not super into cheesecake, but swear, these didn't taste as heavy or overly sweet and oh the walnuts in the crust were absolutely perfect! You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every single bite. If you miss out on the pop-ups, you can put in an order for a whole cake. Place your order at least 5 days in advance and text them for any questions! I can't wait to try them again. It does cost a premium, but for a once in a while thing, I am happy to indulge ;)
